The pool is warm and clean situated next to a nice park and playground area with grills and picnic tables. Everyone is very friendly and you are allowed to bring coolers and water toys. We decided to buy a yearly family membership for $350 that comes with 6 guest passes. I'm still trying to clarify if it's 6 guests that can come an unlimited number of times or 6 passes/guest visits only. I'm scared to share this review because it's my little getaway spot now!! Grab a lounge chair or jump right into the mess and you're transported to a Jersey Shore-esque atmosphere (but I'm told less Jersey Shore than some of the other swim up bars that Put In Bay offers). When we went on Sunday at 3pm, the party was going full swing and the DJ was great. There was no cover charge on Sunday and my friends reported the drinks as strong and reasonably priced. We stayed there for a few hours, danced in the pool, did plenty of people watching and enjoyed the escape from reality. I'd recommend Sand Bar in Put In Bay if you're looking for the best swim up bar and a fantastic DJ. Don't miss out!

While growing up, my family belonged to several swim clubs over the years (and I have visited many others for parties and other things) and none come close to CGPA. Here's what makes CGPA great: Amazing Staff - This pool is well-maintained and well-run. Diving Board and Slide - Need I say more? Outside Food and Beverage (including alcohol) allowed in the pool area. Great Events and Kids Activities - Labor Day Party and Fireworks, Campout, Candy Bar Bingo, Dads Cannon Ball Contest, Swim Lessons, Water Aerobics Snack Bar prices are basically at-cost. The only thing about CGPA that could be improved is the pool stairs. They're not built-in and can be a bit difficult for swimmers with mobility issues. I'd love to see permanent stairs be added to the pool and perhaps one of those lifts that are becoming more and more common at pools.
