Firstly, this is a place for docking boats & putting boats up for the winter. I have no experience…read morewith this. It's located directly on the Detroit river. They have a restaurant with gorgeous views of the water. I do believe this place is members only. The food is decent, there are vegetarian options, though not many. They do have fish & chips which is crave-worthy. The coolest thing is summer of 2023 they finished putting in a brand new in ground pool. It is so nice! You can order food from the restaurant and have it brought out to you at the pool. Members can invite friends & family to the pool, who can get in under the members name & member number, if the member is there. The pool has a bit of a landing, so when you step in, it's like a small, shallow splash pad for littles or people who want to sit. There's a bar at the pool, so you can have poolside drinks, and ice cream! The pool in the summer has been 5 stars for us so far. I would rate the food & service at the restaurant with 4 stars. Shout out to server Ronnie who has worked there for several years and takes great care. One additional thing is they often host kids parties for holidays (Christmas they have Santa lunches, Easter, Halloween). These are expensive for members to sign up for, but they put on a very nice buffet style lunch for families and have crafts, gifts, egg hunts, etc for the kids. They also host bands, comedians, and other entertainers. These events also get 5 stars. However please note that the average person cannot afford a membership at this place. If you're lucky enough to have a family member or friend have a membership here I would definitely recommend utilizing it. Be sure to check out the pool!

These are the worse lot of softball/baseball fields I have ever played on. So, I'll get the good…read morepoints out of the way. You can pretty much drop in whenever you want to play/practice if there's an open field. There are four fields. If you're on a league, they don't enforce the "no alcohol" rule at all, and coolers are quite abundant. The lines are always well painted, and the bases are usually left out in place. I won't discuss the league though, just the grounds. The lights (only used for games) are efficient enough to see at night. Imagine falling on what feels like nails and broken glass. No, those aren't part of the fields, but the granite they consist of is torturous. You will definitely think twice about (or severely regret later) sliding, diving, or even leaving your feet at any time in the infield. The outfield is just as bad. On all fields, the drainage is horrid, and the slightest rain will cause a quagmire in the deepest parts of the outfield. My teammate nearly disappeared into the swamp while trying to catch a fly ball. (Facebook updates say the drainage is being worked on.) The terrain is uneven, and the grass is not cut regularly. When it is cut, clumps of grass are left everywhere. The bench area and bleacher seating isn't big enough to support a team or any decent number of people in attendance. I've played in a number of other cities, and this complex continued to rank as the worst fields I have ever scarred myself on.
