The attractions and activities for kids were a bit disappointing. The wave pool looked like it was very run down and closed with weeds growing in the concrete. The playgrounds we're really cool, but being in a nature park and around so much water, they had lots of little bugs and spider webs everywhere. I tried to clear some for us to play but gave up after about 30 of them.

Why haven't anyone reviewed this location?! I'm literally only the second person. The entrance we took, was right next to Turtle Cove, which was super convenient. There was plenty of parking and getting the tickets was a quick and easy process. It cost a little over $30 for the 4 of us. We were bummed the splash pad that is located inside TC was not working but still had a good time with the rest of the water park. There are two big slides (green- can use inflatable tube (single or double, blue- can't use a tube), a big lazy river, area for the little to swim, and a lot of seating. The pool and lazy river were not deep at all and there were plenty of lifeguards throughout the whole place. There are lockers after entering and wish I knew beforehand to bring change. The lockers I looked at required 2 quarters. If you're looking for a bit more than just a splash pad and a place where adults can also have fun in the water with your kiddos, this is a great place to come!

Appearently they don't know how to use their system but I showed the police our receipt and they appologized. I tried to go back to sleep and was awoken again @ 8am but this time by rocks hitting my camper. Giant industrial mowers are flying by children, pets, tents and vehicles, flinging rocks and waking everyone up. My cat was almost killed by some fool mowing at top speed. I saw the same thing happen with a family that had toddlers moments later. I paid $45 dollars to be harassed, woken up by mowers and chainsaws on my day off. This place is not worth it

While growing up, my family belonged to several swim clubs over the years (and I have visited many others for parties and other things) and none come close to CGPA. Here's what makes CGPA great: Amazing Staff - This pool is well-maintained and well-run. Diving Board and Slide - Need I say more? Outside Food and Beverage (including alcohol) allowed in the pool area. Great Events and Kids Activities - Labor Day Party and Fireworks, Campout, Candy Bar Bingo, Dads Cannon Ball Contest, Swim Lessons, Water Aerobics Snack Bar prices are basically at-cost. The only thing about CGPA that could be improved is the pool stairs. They're not built-in and can be a bit difficult for swimmers with mobility issues. I'd love to see permanent stairs be added to the pool and perhaps one of those lifts that are becoming more and more common at pools.

There are workout stations on the trail, a baseball field and what I think is a disk golf course (I've never played myself). My photo isn't great, but the park is bigger enough where we can avoid super muddy areas to walk. Plenty of Pokémon stops and gyms if you are a trainer as well.

Well we got there early and once it became our start time, noone was there. I ended up calling them to make sure someone was coming, and I was able to get a hold of a staff member who said they would be there in a couple of minutes. Well that turned into about 15 minutes later. Once the staff member came, they got the kayak on the water, showed us how to get in and gave us life jackets. The actually kayaking was nice and the weather was good that day. Basically two ways you can kayak through a nature area or by some huge lake houses. Both are obviously beautiful choices. So overall, it was a decent adventure but just did not like the fact they were late in getting things started.

As a result the paddles were to short. The only other option was to use a kayak paddle. If you are renting paddle boards and don't have the correct equipment to make it enjoyable and physically comfortable for all customers then you should not rent them.
