I took about 11 pieces in--almost all with a variety of stains. I was told they would try their best but it was possible not all stains would come out, so I agreed to them doing whatever they needed to to try all methods of removal. They were able to remove muddy dog paw prints from my husband's bespoke wool trousers, food residue from a silk scarf, unidentifiable yellow stains from a white cotton skirt, and most importantly, stains from a pair of silk pants that 3 other cleaners had attempted to clean but instead added more stains. I brought the silk pants in fully ready to come back to them as I'd left them and give up on ever wearing them again, so I was thrilled to find them like new except for a tiny barely noticeable dot. They did a fantastic job taking care of my clothes and the owner/manager and employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable, too. I'll only be coming to this place for dry cleaning from now on. read more

I brought in a cashmere turtleneck that I had only worn a few times and specifically asked them to clean it and remove lint. I trusted them with it because it's a delicate item. When I picked it up, I didn't inspect it right away, but later I noticed multiple holes, especially around the neckline area. This damage was not there before (photos attached). I went back to show them, and the experience was immediately uncomfortable. The owner came out without introducing himself, avoided eye contact, and from the start kept insisting they didn't cause the damage. He showed me a video after the cleaning, but the turtleneck was folded in a way that didn't even show the damaged areas. What made things worse, he pointed out a dirty spot on the sleeve and tried to say I must have worn it like that. In reality, I hadn't even noticed that they returned the sweater to me still dirty, which just shows the lack of care in handling my item. Communication was difficult due to limited English, which made it very hard to have a clear conversation about resolving the issue. Lucy, the employee who originally inspected my item when I dropped it off, stood there agreeing with him and making it seem like I was the problem instead of helping resolve the situation. When I asked if they could at least repair the holes, he refused and shut the conversation down completely. At no point did they offer a solution or take any responsibility. Instead, I was made to feel like I was the problem, when my item was clearly damaged while in their care. Between the holes and the fact that it was returned dirty, it's clear this garment was not handled properly. I trusted them with a delicate piece and got it back in worse condition with no accountability. I would not bring anything here again. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. They completely ruined my cashmere sweaters items that require proper care and then refused to take any responsibility. Instead of trying to fix the issue they were rude, dismissive and disrespectful the entire time. Lucy at the front desk was extremely unhelpful and had a bad attitude. The owner (male) was even worse defensive, unprofessional and outright rude. He spoke over me dismissed my concerns and made it clear they do not stand behind their work at all. On top of that their business hours are incorrect. I showed up based on the hours posted on their door and they were closed. Completely unreliable. Honestly if this is how they treat customers and handle people's belongings they shouldn't be running a business. They should close their doors and go home. I've been coming to this location for several months and usually in the morning on the way to work. I've always had a good experience here. I'm not exactly sure how many staff members there are, just that I'm always helped by the same guy. I'm guessing he's armanien. I'll make it a point to ask for his name the next time I'm in. The prices are similar to other locations in the area. I've never had any issues dropping off my dry cleaning or picking them up. The parking lot is shared with the shopping center I think. Parking spaces are tiny so it's difficult to park next to another vehicle. I'd definitely recommend this place for your dry cleaning needs. If you value your clothes, you may want to reconsider this place. The owner, (Levon? Larry? lied on multiple occasions about being the owner) ruined my favorite (and expensive) coat. I took it in and asked him specifically if he'd be able to clean it and he said he would. It was wool with a very soft leather collar and I was worried about the leather portion. I picked it up without checking to see how it turned out, which was a total mistake. I called him back after nothing that the black leather on the collar was now faded and green. He said I should return it to the store and if I wanted him to do it, he would. He blamed it on the manufacturer, when the instructions clearly say dry clean. After weeks of going back and forth with him about who the owner was and asking him for a phone call that I never did receive, I took the coat back and asked him to have the owner call me with possible solutions. Whether it was dyeing the leather again, removing the old leather and having a new piece stitched back on, reimbursement, I didn't care, I was open to all options. He calls me a day later telling me my coat is ready to be picked up. At this point, I'm confused, I didn't authorize him to do anything with my coat. I go back only to find out he dyed the leather and ruined it even more. The once soft leather is now shiny, extremely taut, and the stitching is falling off at the slightest tug. This unprofessional human being decided that he's going to dye my coat with what seemed like a Sharpie, without my consent. I was furious. He didn't have the intestinal fortitude to tell me that he was the owner. He also lied about being new to the country, too, as with one of the other customers. All this guy needed to do was 1. Not say he could clean it if he couldn't. 2. Apologize for the mistake and not lie about things. 3. Send the coat out to a company that actually dyes leather. read more

I'm Korean and there are other Korean dry cleaners in the area but Larry (Armenian) charges less so I tried Silver Star Cleaners a few years ago and have been happy ever since. If I owe him and I don't have money and I don't have cash, he'll say "Next time!" and mark it down and I pay him the next time. That's what you call trust and building a community. He has a membership card where every 10th stamp is a Free Dry Cleaning of up to $20. That's a GREAT DEAL. I've used that $20 off free cleaning many times. read more

We have been to this cleaners many times over the last couple of years and one time he told me they could not clean a dress bc it was black and white and the colors will bleed even though it was a nice clothing company and it said dry clean only. I've been to this cleaner many times over the past four years and the guy who's always at the front keeps getting creepier and creepier. He just gives you that uneasy feeling. He pretends he has never seen you before and starts telling you bogus stories of how he is new in town, he doesn't speak English etc, although he speaks very well. I'm not sure if he has memory issues or what, but it's quite unprofessional to pick up on customers, especially if you've met the husband time and time again. My husband had to jog his memory back.
