Our family had excellent takeout from Silver Spoon Thai Restaurant this evening. Pad Thai and barbecue Chicken were very good, as were accompanying spring rolls and pot stickers. A little pricey perhaps, but generously portioned and all in all very good. We will return.

I loved my baby corn delight and also the appetizers sampler. The crab ragoon was good and the shrimp roll. The chicken satay that i tasted was a bit dry. The garlic beef kinda had the same sweet taste as the baby corn. The thai ice tea was not as sweet and pretty tasty. Overall good experience.

We were staying at the Treehouse Joint in Monroe, WA and fully intended on cooking but then whenever we are visiting a new place it is sooo necessary for us to try the food. We picked this spot on Doordash and the food arrived hot and ready and incredibly delicious. We ordered the fried tofu appetizers and the fresh rolls and both were absolutely insane. SO GOOD! I love love love Thai food and I try any fried tofu I can and this was elite. The fresh rolls were rolled to perfection and sooo tasty too. We also ordered the Pad Thai and the Tom Kha soup for entrees and both were huge! Full of flavor, robust and filled with that homestyle depth that comes with good Thai food. This place was all around 5 stars, and I also want you to know the spice levels have a ton of range. The two was spicy the three had a kick. Overall amazing!

The food here is always good. The ambience nice, and the service is good as well as a large selection from which to choose. You can't go wrong with this place. I'd give it a try. Plenty of parking.

ASK FOR AN ITEMIZED RECEIPT. They will charge you for multiple things you didn't know you were paying for (for example a bag fee when they don't use bags??) They will also make faces when you decided to leave a 10% tip while placing a takeout order. The food is good but not amazing. Even if it was, it's not worth the stress and hassle.

It honestly reminds me of growing up and bringing chicken and rice to school as a kid. If you grew up eating Cambodian food, this kind of meal just feels familiar in the best way. This isn't really the kind of place you go for service. You place your order, they bring the food out, and you pay. It's also a pretty small spot inside, so it might be a big of wait for big group.

The chicken is incredibly tender and there are some nice fatty pieces in there that add a lot of richness and flavor. Exactly what you want from a proper Hainan chicken. It comes with two sauces and both are delicious. I personally felt like it was missing a soy sauce component, but then again the ginger sauce does a great job of tying everything together so I get why they went that route. Small thing overall. I did takeout and the whole process was quick and painless. The soup that came with it was really flavorful and had just the right amount of salted elements to help cut through the richness of the chicken. A nice touch that rounded out the meal. One thing worth mentioning is that I noticed it was available on DoorDash for a bit cheaper, so if you are ordering in, that might be the move. But if you are picking up in person the experience is smooth either way. Will definitely be ordering from here again. Very solid, especially coming from an LA Native

I want to give 5 stars and I would have in 2023 and 2024 but someone was hired who has really slowed the service down. We have to ask for water refills and the check as we get left alone for long periods. I've heard the kitchen announcing orders ready but this server is just slow. It's disappointing as we never had service like this for years before until this newer server. We waited a few months to return but this server was still so slow and not attentive. Sadly, we haven't returned in a while but have ordered takeout a few times. This used to be in our Friday rotation of restaurants. Everyone else there is still great and food is yummy.

I ordered the fresh spring rolls with prawn, pork panang curry with brown rice and a Shirley temple. Panang curry was very flavorful, but might have been a tad salty for my liking. The shrimp spring rolls were delicious. The peanut sauce it comes with was perfectly made and it hit the spot. Shirley temple was pretty good, but maybe I could have asked for a little less syrup. There's what I assume is Thai music playing in the background which is there but just barely unlike other places that play really loud music. It was nice being able to enjoy my meal in peace Would come back to try the lobster pad thai I kept eyeing

The fact that these were also coated in oil was pretty nice. On the inside, I thought the prawns were cooked well - they remained pretty soft and didn't appear overcooked I did feel like the spice was pretty much missing, though. I ordered 4/5 stars, but it tasted more like 1/5 stars as there was a pretty significant lack of spice that took away from a lot of the flavor potential. Speaking of the missing flavor, there should've been a lot more sauce added to this dish - either poured on top of the prawns or the prawns come sitting in it. The benefit of this is that it you can mix everything with the rice - and this sauce coats the rice to make it taste good. The way it's currently presented, the prawns are too large to really eat with the rice, and mixing the two will just result in eating the meat and taking another bite of plain rice because there isn't enough sauce to coat the rice. This dish just ended up being eating the prawns by themselves - the rice wasn't super useful As a result, after finishing I really wasn't that full For the price (around 20 ish) there are a good amount of prawns, but I wouldn't really say you're getting a good deal here

The restaurant was hosting an event, so part of the space was closed off, and service was noticeably slow. It took a while for the food to arrive. The khao soi was decent--not the best I've had, but still a solid choice. The Panang curry had a mild flavor with a subtle lime note and a touch of sweetness, which was interesting but not particularly bold. Overall, the food was okay, but unless you live nearby, it might not be worth the trip. If you do go, I'd recommend ordering a higher spice level, as everything leaned on the mild side. Good ambiance overall.

Indeed, this place is quite adorable, great for girls' night out or date night. They have a sizable full bar for the boozers. Service was fine and kept our water filled. The restaurant is good overall except menu prices run about a buck or two more than my usual Thai places. I suppose that pays for the decorations. Noodle dishes have a sizable markup if switching proteins at $5 beef, prawns, or $8 seafood. Perhaps they use higher quality sources. This location has their own parking. The Food: Crying Tiger, $27.95 - 4 Stars Menu: Grilled glazed marinated New York strip steak Super cute presentation that is also eye-busy, made me pause to think "where do I start." Beef is tender. The side salad is refreshing. Shu Chee Salmon, $27.95 - 3.5 Stars Menu: Grilled wild caught skin-on Alaska salmon in creamy red curry paste with bell pepper, basil I was bummed when I saw this. The fish is breaded and deep fried. I have ordered curry salmon from many area Thai restaurants. This is the first fried version. So unnecessary. The rest of it is good. I quite like the steamed broccoli to accompany the protein. Koong Oob Woon Sen - 4 Stars Menu: House special bean thread noodle with prawns, mushroom, celery in sweet ginger sauce I am a fan of bean thread noodles, aka crystal noodles or clear noodles. This is a common dish found in Thai restaurants. Bouncy, chewy noodle is served on spinach. Their version is less greasy than another restaurant that serves it in a hotpot.
