    Fried chicken wing dinner
    Khadijah J.

Very mid, very basic, not much flavor. I got the fried chicken wing dinner, and the wings don't have that "Chinese food wings" flavor that I find in most other Chinese food spots. These are lacking flavor and remind me of something most yt ppl would make. The rice is ok, slightly overcooked, and the crab rangoons are also lacking flavor. China Star up the street is MUCH much better, but they're closed on Tuesdays so I decided to give this place a try. Never again. Also, if you're ordering for the lunch special, call before 3pm. The menu is apparently wrong as it says the lunch special ends at 3:30pm. I called right at 3 and was told the lunch special ended. They definitely could have taken my lunch order since they don't have any updated menu photos to reflect that. There was also no one there, empty and quiet ambiance. That's a sign too. So, definitely not returning. Staying with China Star.

The best wings in town! Hands down!! They been around forever . They are my family's go to for when family is over . The honey wings and lemon pepper are to die for and they are large and with a lot of sauce and crispy but not burnt- they're just perfect. They aren't stingy with portion sizes - and they are super fast and nice . Deliver fee is like two or three bucks . The hot sauce packets they have also are super good - gotta try it Also note that it's more of a take out delivery type of place not a soooo much of the spot to go for a fancy or large party dinner location. The place is actually not the nicest looking but nonetheless they totally have the luxury of not upgrading or investing in looks JUST because their food and family style attitude is thattttt amazing that everything else is insignificant:)

I love silver pon to go! The service is always nice and quick and the staff is welcoming! I remember the nice young lady offered me homemade lemonade to try which was so kind! I didn't know they serve fresh lemonade :) my food is always hot and it's my family's go to for feeding everyone on a lazy day. The restaurant has limited seating because it's more of a grab and go! You can see the staff cooking and packing orders. I highly recommend this Chinese spot.

In Florida I have had difficulty finding good Chinese food however, silver pon to go is currently the only Chinese food I order. The young lady who answers the phone is always very pleasant, patient and thorough when you place large or small orders. She is very polite and kind when you ask for condiments or silverware. The food I order has always been fresh and amazing. As long as you know what you're ordering or ask the proper questions you should have no issues with your food here! Also, they take American Express which is a big deal to me :). As far as ambiance this place has no sit down area clearly as stated in the name of the restaurant but it is always very clean!

This is a local Chinese take out restaurant, they have a few tables if you wanted to eat in. There food is good. Never had an issue with the service. The house fried rice is good. I also like to get their honey glazed fried chicken with fries it's crispy and breaded just right. I tried there lemon pepper wings and it wasn't as good as the honey wings in my opinion. The egg rolls are also good maybe it's the oil not sure but it takes better than an other take out restaurant. The last time I had good take out Chinese was in New York.

Ming Wah - Tamarac: I'd heard whispers for years about this hole-in-the-wall Peruvian-Chinese spot…read morebut always drove right past it--mostly because, let's be honest, the place looks like it hasn't seen a renovation since Nixon was in office. But curiosity finally won, and I'm glad it did. Ming Wah is pure old-school Chifa: no frills, unapologetically greasy, and weirdly charming. I ordered the fried wontons, the sopa de wantan especial, and the mixed chaufa (fried rice with pork, chicken, and shrimp). All solid. The soup especially was generous and surprisingly hearty--the small size ($8.95) could easily feed two, and the large is enough for four. The chaufa had all the right notes: smoky, just enough wok hei, and not overloaded with salt or MSG like you sometimes get at Chifa Taypa. That might actually be a plus for some folks--it's flavorful without being a sodium bomb. The fried wontons were crisp and classic. Nothing fancy, but they scratched the itch. The menu is tight for Chifa standards--hits all the usual suspects--but they've also got a full American-Chinese menu for those who want their General Tso fix. Prices are more than fair: $25 got me all three dishes, with regular-sized portions. The phone rang off the hook with takeout orders while I was there, and dine-in seems secondary. If you do eat in, leave a tip--these folks are working hard, and from what I saw, they're not seeing much appreciation from the dine-in crowd. Service was prompt and the teenage girl working the front (presumably the daughter of the owners) speaks perfect English and was very nice.

Excellent local Chinese restaurant. I am disabled, with a rare inherited type of leukodystrophy,…read moreso I rely on food deliveries and Ming Wah has excellent food & service. In particular, I enjoy their Cantonese style dishes. Like the fact that, unlike most south Florida Chinese restaurants, they use white meat in their Orange Chicken and do not have a lot of extraneous stuff, like peas, in their fried rice. My health aide often orders from them as well & also enjoys the food. We order direct from the restaurant. Very nice people too!

11/22/25 Evening. This was my second time here, and this visit I decided to try something…read moredifferent, something I've never ordered before. I was craving duck, so I went with the tea smoked duck along with the pork fried rice (no peas), and crab rangoon for appetizer. I was glad that they had fountain soda, as most Chinese restaurants do not and only have cans. Overall, the meal was solid. The food tasted good, and the service was even better. My waitress checked in on me regularly, which I really appreciated, just enough to make sure I had everything I needed without being intrusive. All in all, I enjoyed my meal and the experience. I'll most likely be back again.

When I sat down to eat there was a small ant on my plate, so not a good start. I looked this place…read moreup after I left and apparently they failed a health inspection and were closed at the end of Sept. 2025. So I guess the ant makes sense. I felt the veggies in the lo mein were under cooked. I could taste the cornstarch in the orange chicken like they used too much, but overall it was the best dish we got there. The beef and broccoli was just fine. It felt pretty expensive for what it was about $16-$18 per dish. The food did come out FAST once we ordered so that was great. Server wasn't rude but also wasn't very outgoing. Ambiance was completely lacking. Wont be back.
