I stopped by to order food to go. I ordered an order of ribs that comes with 10 of them. I ordered a jumbo shrimp fried rice as well. The associate at the register was very nice and super funny. The place has a lot of cool patches from the all different law enforcement agencies. This place is also decorated with anime stuff as well the ambiance is very relaxing and it smells amazing there. I visited Fortune dragon for the first time with a few friends. This seems like a popular Chinese restaurant for Tamarac locals . It is situated in a shopping plaza with plenty of free parking. We dined on a Sunday evening and the dining room was mostly full. We did wait a little bit to order but once we did our soups then egg rolls then entree were brought right out. We all got the combination meals - they come with white rice , soup and egg roll. We had the beef lo mein , pepper steak and orange beef. We are tried a little of each dish . The food overall was very tasty and enjoyable. The server packed up our leftovers to us . The meal were about 17.95 each. I can see why so many people like this restaurant. First time eating at Fortune Dragon Chinese Restaurant. We ordered takeout. They have family special on which I added on one of my photos. From Tuesday to Saturday they are open from 11:30am until 9:00 pm. On Sunday they are open from 1:00pm- 9:00pm. They are closed on Mondays. Upon entering this restaurant, there is several law enforcement patches on which was pretty cool. I spoke to Hue which she stated that her husband supports law enforcement. Very nice ambiance. The food was pretty good. I ordered pork fried rice with ribs and it includes a soup and an egg roll. Overall the experience and food was great. read more

As I am a regular customer, I must say I enjoy going there. I am alway served by "boss lady." On the check it indicates server as "boss," therefore I referred to her as "boss lady," Also, she is very dominate; yet, in a polite way. The ambiance of the restaurant is clean and authentic. It reminds me of the Chinese restaurants that we have in New York. Sometimes I hate saying great things about restaurants cuz then they're going to become busier and raise prices but this restaurant is really good and every time I've been there I loved it. I usually get hot and sour soup and beef with broccoli or chicken with broccoli and an egg roll and it's always delicious. I live in Delray Beach so it's not really super convenient but every once in a while I meet my friends there and as a matter of fact I'm going to call him now and maybe I'll meet them there tonight. I was thinking about doing earlier today and then all of a sudden and most serendipitously this review pops up after I wrote a review on another restaurant and Winn-Dixie. It's not going to be a restaurant like Hakkasan at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach but it won't cost $100 a person either. read more

I don't say this lightly. The owners don't give a damn about what the chefs are doing in the kitchen from what I can taste. It was horrid and I was stupid enough to go back after three years when they served me the worst house special fried rice I ever had in my life. Stay away! I met some friends here for a last minute dinner. One of them loves it here and I can see why. The service was excellent. I enjoyed the wonton soup a lot. It was very fresh and the wonton tasted so flavorful. I enjoyed my beef and broccoli dish. It had a lot of beef which was so tasty. It was a bit salty, but it was ok for me. The vegetables were very fresh. I do wish there was more of them. It almost seemed like there was more beef than vegetables. The crab rangoons were a little disappointing. My friends liked them a lit. They were okay but I have had better. This restaurant had a nice crowd who all seemed to be enjoying the food as much as we were. We will go back there again. read more

I have been searching all over for a great NY style restaurant, the wait staff yells at each other, it's like I am at Wo Hop on the Bowery. I had Cashew Chicken, absolutely amazing. Best Hot & Sour in Florida (that I have tried, but still, I do get around). The wife, Honey Garlic Chicken, like the rest, a lot of breading. The egg roll was hard and crunchy. You can tell the oil has not been changed in a while. The rice was kinda edible. The chicken was hard & crunchy with no flavor. I didn't really want to try the soup. I was hoping that my experience would have been different because it's local to me. I don't normally write reviews unless they're really good or really bad and Fortune Dragon was really GOOD!! Not only was the delivery super fast but the portions were massive and the price was low. I got the combo dinner with orange chicken which came with fried rice, wonton soup and an egg roll but I also got an order of krab Rangoon. The orange chicken was SO good! I loved the way it was fried, it wasn't the puffy dough that you usually see, which I was happy about. The amount of rice they gave me was insane. The wonton soup was good, not the best I've had but good. The Krab Rangoon was really good and they have me a whole container of the red sauce! All that came out to $24 which is so cheap. I will definitely be ordering from here again read more

Wonton soup was delicious and we were looking forward to a wonderful meal, but it ended there! Egg roll filling were bits of pork and vegetables instead of pieces. Pan fried dumplings were horrible! They were deep fried similar to the way their kitchen cooks French Fries-AND the filling had virtually no taste! The roast pork chow mein had very few pieces of pork other than scraps, and it was so watery I had to spill off the excess. The chicken with garlic sauce was mostly very thin strips of vegetables with about 6 to 8 bite sized pieces of chicken. Overall, except for the wonton soup, bulk with little flavor! It evoked so many good memories of when I was a kid and used to go to lunch in this kind of restaurant with my mom and grandma. It's no frills and a true neighborhood joint. What sets it apart from the thousands of other Chinese restaurants of this type is that the food was really good and everything was fresh. We ordered from the lunch menu which had so many choices. You could get an entree, rice, and soup or egg roll for a combination special. We opted to have both the soup and egg roll and my meal was still under $10. For lunch I ordered the sweet and sour pork which was a large portion of tender pork and fried rice. While we waited for our food we shared a pot of hot tea and I noshed on the crispy Chinese noodles. Usually they are stale but here they were crispy and addicting. By the time I finished the noodles, soup, and egg roll, I was full and ended up taking a large portion of my entree home. Even the finishing fortune cookie was crisp and fresh. It is not gourmet food here, just the basic Amercan Chinese food we all love. The difference is they do it well here and reasonably priced, especially if you are able to go for a weekday lunch. I just wish I had more week days off from school and that Fortune Dragon was closer to me. read more
