Tried this spot for takeout. The food came quickly and the order was accurate. I loved the blackened chicken Caesar wrap. I'd been craving a Caesar wrap for a while, and was very happy with this one. My bf loved the chef salad. It was huge and came with a generous amount of dressing. Added eggs to it and he enjoyed it and had it for three meals. The mac and cheese was also tasty; it had a nice cheese pull and was just a nice basic mac. The wings were tender and we enjoyed them. The food is horrible, the cook makes your food any kind of way, I guess because it's not their food to eat and the people there can't get a simple order correctly! The manager shoulder hire real chefs or at least someone who cares about how the food looks and tastes. Then hire people who care about the accuracy of the order. This carryout is convenient for me so I keep giving it a hopeful shot but I'm let down ev.er.y.time! My delivery order from this restaurant is the worst I've ever had. I never got to try any of the food because of the horrible "surprise" that came with the food. The roach in the picture jumped out of the paper delivery bag (scaring both me and my cat) when I took out my food and found its way to my cat's litterbox. I already filed a health complaint with the City and with GrubHub. The bag was stapled closed so I find it improbable that the roach appeared after the food left the restaurant, so if they try to pin this on the delivery driver, don't fall for it. This late night spot came through in the clutch! They close at 3 a.m. Woot! After being out at a CIAA event, we were hungry and decided to come here to get food. This is definitely just a carryout. I've tried this place twice. I recall little about the first time, so it was neither good nor bad. It just happened to be right beside the hospital, it was early, and I needed a quick bite. I tried it again tonight because I was tired. I should have stopped at Taco Bell, or the Royal Farms across from the casino, or maybe even the bus station beside the casino. ANYTHING would have been better than the slop I was sold tonight. It was a steak quesadilla that was laden with gristle and -- get this -- American cheesefood slices! (You can even see a the slice's edges and a corner in the picture I've posted.) It was all stuffed inside the greasiest tortilla ever. They don't have cilantro to make pico de gallo, they don't have guacamole, and the ketchupy shit they call "salsa" is, well, shit. Eleven dollars for shit that I would not have eaten on Skid Row or the Bowery when it was a homeless haven. I threw it away, and vowed never to go there again. Ordered food via door dash. Was delivery quickly and timely. Got the Greek salad with anchovies and no olives. Was surprised there was not an option to get Greek dressing so I got the Caesar dressing. Salad was fresh and tasty but was on the warm side because it was placed right on top the steak and eggs. In my first go I ordered a Cheesesteak sub with everything and provolone cheese. It was okay, just okay. Not as meaty as meaty or flavorful as I remembered. A few days later I tried a chicken cheesesteak, this time with everything on the side. I accidentally walked in this place because I saw an awesome spread of desserts in the window. I was on my way back to my hotel and decided to stop in. I ordered a traditional Gyro and a Greek Salad. This place was over the top. The lady at the front desk called everyone honey which was very endearing. The food was just as good as the service. I also ordered a slice of lemon, coconut cake. Great spot for that late night munchie-fix. I usually end up at Silver Moon between 1-3am, when I'm stoned and craving a good sub. I typically order the chicken cheese steak combo with fries and a drink. Don't remember what it costs but judging by how often I eat here it's probably not expensive. I have some friends from DC that I've brought here also and they absolutely love the subs and late night convenience. Haven't had any other menu items so I couldn't make any other suggestions on what to order but my food is always ready in about 10 mins, 15 mins max and always hot.
