The sausage and egg sandwich came on a croissant, and it was toasted perfectly with just the right amount of butter. We really enjoyed that one. The cheesesteak was also very good. The bread was nicely toasted, and the lettuce and tomato were fresh. My only suggestion would be to add a little more meat because the sandwich could definitely use it, but overall the flavor was good and we enjoyed it. The corned beef hash was good too -- I added a little hot sauce and killed it! What really stood out to us was the service. Even though this is a carryout-style place, they brought our food, condiments, and even our drinks right over to the table while we waited. Everyone was very hospitable, friendly, and welcoming. Great little spot with good food and nice people. We will definitely be going back!

Arriving around 8:30-9:00 AM was the sweet spot, it wasn't crowded yet, so we were seated immediately, and the service was warm and attentive from the start. We started with seasonal drinks: I had the apple cider mimosa and my wife had the hot apple cider. Both were phenomenal and tasted like pure fall in a glass. Pork Belly Candy (Appetizer): I ordered this to handle my bacon intake for the morning, and it was unbelievable. Roasted in rich maple syrup and sitting on a bed of greens. It was so delicious that I was actually sitting there happily eating greens for breakfast! The Eggs: My wife asked for soft scrambled eggs, and JAM executed them flawlessly. A lot of places overcook scrambled eggs when you ask for soft, but these were delicate, fluffy, and done the right way. The Sausage & Preserves: The sausage was savory and packed with flavor (my wife didn't enjoy the flavor profile, but I absolutely loved it). Adding their house preserves to the biscuit with the sausage created an unreal sweet-and-savory bite. Pancakes & Home Fries: As a self-proclaimed pancake connoisseur, these hit every mark, golden, fluffy, and great texture. The seasoned home fries that came with the platters rounded everything out nicely. Portions are generous, so I packed up some sausage, a pancake, and half of the pork belly candy. Reheated the next morning for round two, and it was just as hitting as day one. We are thrilled to have found a top-tier breakfast spot. Yes, yes, and yes, we will definitely be back!

So I will not base this review on their service to me but rather a little bit on their service to the other customers I've witnessed on. This place can be a bit hard to find because it's located right in the middle of an office/warehouse park and the park is big. But if you have a cell phone that has google maps or a GPS installed on it, then you should be golden! When I came here yesterday, it was pretty busy. You can order through their buffet line on the right side of the building or you can also order through their menu. The buffet line isn't actually a "buffet", but is more a "Each pound you pay a certain amount of money". I don't remember the prices but it's not bad. Like I said above, they treated me like royalty. But witnessing their treatment towards others, I feel like they have a natural and genuine attitude towards all of their customers. I was hungry and I ordered for my brother and his co-workers. Got 2 cheese steak subs, 2 Korean steak subs, 1 fish platter, 1 shrimp platter, and a club sandwich. Around 10 minutes later, I got the food. Smelled so good.... Oh and I also got a brownie that was sitting out front on their counter. I went to my brother's work and tried out their food. I personally had a cheese steak with fries and a part of the brownie. The cheese steak was DELICIOUS. Their toppings are similar or even the same as the other places selling cheese steaks, but their bread? It's different. Not really the taste but the texture is. It holds all the juicy toppings really well and it had a bit of a chewy texture which I love. The fries were alright. The brownie was not good. I've recently been to the Great Harvest Bread company and had the brownies there, so maybe I've been spoiled by their greatness and thought the brownie here, Kay's Diner was mediocre at best. Service was great. They're a Korean owned family business. Very humble and kind couple. Note: Their English is limited.

We stumbled upon it after finding our usual diner - Frank's - was permanently closed (bye-bye chicken fried steak, table-side juke boxes, cheerful waitresses). Although appearances were not necessarily deceiving, the food was surprisingly good, generously proportioned, and reasonably priced. They have a number of typical diner sandwiches available, and unusually, korean-inspired fare like bulgogi beef bowls (yes, I know, a surprising menu for this kind of place; the proprietors were 2 no-nonsense Korean ummas who worked swiftly and briskly); and a buffet with a number of offerings from mac and cheese to sesame chicken (you take as much as you want, whatever you want, and they weigh the loaded plate for pricing). My daughters had BLTs (loaded with bacon) and chicken quesadillas (also loaded with chicken); my wife had a big veggie wrap (yes, loaded with fresh avocado); and I chose some mac&cheese, collard greens, salisbury steak, and a roasted chicken thigh (alas, no chix-fried steak). It wasn't bad, tasted pretty good, and was ultimately satisfying (in s guilty way, like when you know you shouldn't but you do anyway - and enjoy it!)

Extremely disappointing experience at First Watch Columbia…read more I walked in alone and stood at the entrance waiting to be seated. Despite employees being present, I was not greeted or acknowledged for some time. Eventually, an employee approached me and asked if I was waiting for a pickup order. I explained that I was actually waiting to be seated and asked whether the restaurant had open seating. He told me no and then seated me at a large four-person table, even though I had already told him I was dining alone. After being seated, I waited for someone to take my order. The server passed my table several times without greeting me, offering water, or taking my order. What ultimately made me leave was watching another customer get seated nearby after I had already been waiting, only for the server to immediately approach her and begin taking her order. The server looked directly at me and still did not come to my table. At that point, I got up and left. I understand that restaurants get busy and service isn't always perfect. I don't expect perfection. But I do expect the basic courtesy of being acknowledged and served--especially when customers who arrive after me are receiving service while I continue to be ignored. I left without ever being able to order a drink or a meal. This was an incredibly disappointing and unacceptable experience, and certainly not the level of hospitality I expected from First Watch.
