We stopped in with a group for drinks and dinner. Most of us got beers, I had a glass of wine, which I enjoyed. Pizza was good but nothing outstanding. Biggest complaint was that the service was unfriendly. The host was a bit rude and didn't seem thrilled to seat us. She told us we had an hour to get in and out since they had a reservation. I never like to start off a restaurant visit feeling unwelcome or rushed... it's just uncomfortable. The restaurant started to clear out and I never did see another group show up within the hour. We have been here several times. Only once was it great as far as service. Food can be hit or miss, so it must be the cook at the time. The great visit was early on in their opening. This last time I waited to review since we were so disappointed. We do not think we will be back. Licorice Pizza has won on all aspects. This visit I ordered the pizza that looked great on the table near us. It was not crowded but has probably 6-7 tables and all but 2 had been served. My husband ordered a chicken dish. His order came out without my pizza so he was waiting to eat w/ me. About five minutes went by and he had taken a bite or two and I said please eat. We asked the waiter as he walked by when the pizza would be out. He said oh just a few minutes. He disappeared and we didn't see him another 10 minutes, went by. Finally, I caught his attention as he was walking by and said do you have any idea about my pizza? It's been about 15 minutes and my husband was almost done with his meal. It took another eight minutes for my pizza to come out. It didn't seem very fresh. I think he just totally forgot. Service has been a problem and it's such a great building. And the beers are wonderful, but you have to have the whole enchilada as they say there are other restaurants in Warrenton as well as close surrounding areas that you have to give great service. It's not acceptable that one person eats the other person watches them eat and then one is done and now you get your meal. That is not OK. I've been in the restaurant business years before customer service makes a huge difference. I hope they can find better staff or if it's management problems they can train. read more

Came here after an intense skydiving session at the nearby airfield on recommendation from one of the workers there, and what a great rec' it was! I love the vibe of this place, it's very clean and has a retro vibe on the interior, and the rooftop seating area is a really nice addition. The service is friendly and attentive, very hospitable small town vibes. The beers we got were really tasty, and absolutely love their selection. The pizza's were fantastic, the ingredients were all fresh, and they had solid vegetarian options for our group. read more

We came here on an early Sunday afternoon with a group of 7. There are a few options in that you can go upstairs or in the main floor inside or you can sit outside which is what we did. We were immediately welcomed by our waitress. I have a garlic allergy and I was amazed at how they went above and beyond with making sure that what i ordered, a chicken sandwich, did not have garlic . The food was delicious, the fries amazing and I really like the variety of beers they have available on their menu. Everything I tried in my flight was delicious. We gave Silver Branch another try tonight. Food was good, beer was good, and everyone we interacted with was very friendly. Service was kind of slow, but not ridiculously slow. Two odd observations: 1. Just like last time, when it was time to pay, we were told a total (the waitress showed it to us on her electronic device), but not given a breakdown. I've been to a lot of restaurants in my time, and this is the only restaurant I've ever seen do that. I'm sorry, but I find not being given a check, and having to ask for a breakdown, is off putting. 2. When we arrived, we were told that if we scanned the QR code at our table and ordered through that instead of using a paper menu and actually talking to a server, we'd get a 10% discount. On the surface, it may seem like "Oh, cool, I get a discount for doing this.". However, really, it's "Oh, wow, I need to pay extra to get a paper menu and talk to a human being here.". Not wanting to be a Luddite, we tried the QR code approach, but couldn't really figure it out. Our waitress was no help in that matter, as it was her first day trying to manage working tables that were using the QR code. So, we got paper menus instead. The manager said she'd give us the discount anyway for trying the QR code. That required negotiation with the waitress at the end of the meal, once we asked for and got the breakdown of our check, and we saw that it wasn't included. read more

Cool, spacious local bar with beers from England and Europe (Belgium, Germany, Czechia, etc) and maybe three categorized as being from America. Beers were ok, mostly tasted the same, got a flight of four, left a few unfinished. They don't have any dark beers or anything overly unique. Watch out because they don't have their prices or serving sizes listed anywhere...a flight of four beers was $20 with tip. Feels more like a restaurant that serves beers, rather than a brewery (didn't see any brewery equipment) and I think a lot of their beers are European imports based on the descriptions on the menu (attached). I wanted to love this place. The service was not great at all whatsoever. First it took him a long time to even get to our table and when we ordered drinks, they came back wrong. It was almost like the entire time he forgot about us. We got an appetizer quick, but then it was over an hour before we got our pizza we got our pizza. It wasn't even hot. It was more like room temperature and that was our first visit there I don't think I'll be coming back. read more

This is our second time here, I can't remember why I did not write a review the first time. Love the relaxing atmosphere. First time we did not bring our best friend since we were unsure if she was allowed. This time she came with us. The service is friendly and extremely attentive, always checking in to make sure you are ok and not in need of anything else. The food is very tasty, not an overly extensive menu, just perfect. The mussels and beef fat fried French fries are by far our favorites. The pizza was delicious but we are huge on fries, best in town. We had drinks and shared a beer flight. Overall, this is now our go to place in town. Can't ask for a better service, relaxing atmosphere, good food, and all in the company of our four legged best friend. read more

Best. Pizza. In. Town. Hard stop. We came for the beer, which is also fantastic by the way. Decided to try the Hot 'Roni. From bite #1 I said this is the best pizza in Warrenton hands down. I've had it several times since along with other local pizzas. My opinion hasn't changed. Every time I come back to this one I wonder why I bother with anything else. Oh and the beer (I mean it IS a brewery). The beer is amazing. I love that they serve it in the appropriate glass for the type of beer, too. Knowledgeable and super friendly staff. Tried their Sunday brunch experience, and it was great! Forgot to take photos of the food, but our crew had the breakfast Bart burger, brisket avocado toast, cinnamon French toast, shrimp and grits and several mimosas and juicy IPAs. Everything was fantastic - we ended up leaving with their takeout deal of a $10 six pack and $10 pizza - we got the hot roni - with hot honey drizzle - it's delicious! We finally made it here and was well worth the wait. The beer is very good and the pizza to die for. We tried the Hot 'Roni Pizza- Excellent! And the Grandma's Bologne -zza - Very good, tastes like a lasagna! Excellent customer service, very friendly staff. My only recommendation is making the upstairs +21 only. Great atmosphere, good food, good service, amazing venue.... You have to get some TV's, it is the only reason we don't come in. Your beer is great but not being able to watch football or march madness is crippling the sales you could be doing. I will buy you a tv if I can get free beer for a year just to watch a game. We have been twice and their pizza is pretty good. The pretzel was good too. The menu is a little bit weird. The mussels don't seem to go with anything - it's not a seafood place. The brat burger sounds weird and there is no beef burger on the menu. It has not been very busy when we go (on Saturdays). I think if they re-vamp the menu a bit, and add some musical guests to the patio, that would really make the business pick up. A tad pricey. The service has been awesome both times. read more
