Experience is now even better with after their renovation. Smaller serving than the one in town but that also means more room for other meat to try! Must always get bulgogi.

Surprisingly lived here all my life & this is the first time I've tried sikdorak I'm not sure if it was just our expectations, but we felt like it didn't totally live up to the hype. The quality of meats were pretty good, but it felt pretty expensive for what we were getting. Side dishes cost $9.95 extra & lettuce was an extra $8 :( we were also hoping to order the squid but they were out. Otherwise though, the service was amazing and we were seated within about 5-10min! Our servers were so nice & attentive all night. They're also BYOB which is always nice! They changed our grills so often & made sure we always had enough meats/ banchan.

We decided to try Sikdorak for dinner instead of cooking. We didn't have a very long wait time and the wait staff was very courteous. He did take time to inform us that they were short-staffed for the evening but the service was seamless. You wouldn't have known that there were only two of them! The food came quickly and our drinks were always full. They were very attentive to every detail and were thankful for the experience. We tried just about everything on the menu. Our favorites were the Ju mul luk, garlic shrimp, chicken, and chuck steak. We definitely will be coming back!

Craving for yakiniku?went to Sikdorak for the first time & i enjoyed myself,it's BYOB if you wanna drink ..when you first go there,on the door you'll see a QR code & that's where you sign in,waited for like 45 mins about, they txted us when we were close in line & got seated right away.ordered a bunch of things on their AYCE menu.they had water pitchers on the table waiting for us along with our banchans which was yummy.i wanted to get the tofu soup & egg custard but i was too full to try it & it wasn't part of the AYCE..we ordered a bunch of meats & it was yummy especially the pork belly.definetly will come back again

came here with a group of 4 on a late sunday evening and joined the waitlist posted on their door (bummer there's no other way to join until you arrive). thankfully they're BYOB so while waiting we stopped at safeway to pick up some beers. it seemed like they were understaffed which might be why we saw empty tables not being filled. meat was good. they bring out your order very quickly, but the plate is SO small. I feel like it just causes more work when you only put 6 thin slices of brisket on one plate and it makes staff have to run more order and wash more dishes. they were very attentive to our grill change when we needed it but weren't paying attention when we were ready to pay. they're actually the first restaurant I've been to that warned us about our time limit and that we were on last call after 1 hour. it's reliable, but I think overall there can be better experiences elsewhere.

Although the wait was a bit longer than usual food and service was okay. Atmosphere is like original place but I felt they were a little Chang on giving meat as we did come in with a big party so I understand if they weren't prepared but I feel in any AYCE you should be prepared for the those situations. All an all it was an okay experience.

Yakiniku is one of my favorite meals so it's hard to go wrong. That said, I didn't think the cuts of meat were the best, especially the pork jowl, which was pretty much all fat with barely any meat. The beef brisket was solid as always, and surprisingly the seasoned steak ended up being the sleeper hit of the night, super tender and tasty. Cleanliness-wise, other reviews are on point, it definitely feels like the place could use a deep clean. I also wish the AC was stronger because with the grills going it got really hot and I was sweating through the meal. Service overall was pretty good though.

Finally made it to this spot after always passing by it! We came around 5pm on a Thursday and no line. Had to still be out on the waiting list with a QR code and waited for 10 minutes. Inside of this place looks nicer than we expected and a lot more spacious. Service was great, they kept filling our orders for the meat. Banchan were all flavorful and it was a good amount. I like this place better than Gen. The steaks were tough so I don't recommend getting those.

A friend and her family called me to have lunch with her here since she was on my side, and she said this Sikdorak is cleaner than the one in town. It was my first time to eat here. Because it was on a federal holiday, the lunch special did not apply, and we paid full rate. You have to scan their QR code at the front door to be on their waiting list. Wait was about half hour on a non crowded afternoon. Meats - 4 stars - There were a small assortment of choices of meats, one or two chicken, shrimp and octopus. All were fresh. We could order 4 dishes at a time and 2 different dipping sauces. The fan was low enough so I didn't leave smelling like bbq like other places. I liked the beef brisket, kalbi, steak and thin pork belly best. Service - 3 stars - they were very attentive with my friend's table, but they forgot about our table so we had to always wave them down to replace our grill, order our food and refill our water. Towards the end, my friend decided to give us their plate of meat since we weren't able to wave a server down, and they got another one for themselves right away. Parking - lots of parking since it is at the Waimalu shopping center. Note: there are a couple of homeless people outside the walkway of their restaurant and starbucks. Just be aware in case they decide to approach you while you're waiting or when you leave.

Sikdorak III is good for a quick kbbq lunch. It has great parking and a good amount of seating. When you go, you have to scan the QR code to add your name to the waitlist and you can't go inside until your name is called. There is usually 2 servers during lunch and they're pretty consistent about coming to check on their tables. It is BYOB so if you want anything other than water, you gotta bring it yourself. The banchan selection is super lacking and as I was looking around at other tables, most of the parties had totally different side dishes. Korean bbq with no kimchi? Also, be careful if you're wearing slippers or open toe shoes. The waitress let us know that all the grills drip hot oil out of the bottom while you're cooking. You could lose a toe!

Went here last night and it was great! Floors a little slippery but there's a lot of grease flying around GREAT service! They were super quick to bring out our new orders and you can get 4 at a time AYCE dinner was $33 per person. My favorites were the seasoned short rib and the brisket. It'd be nice if they had salad and rice paper like on the mainland so it's not all just meat and rice. Overall very good though if you're in the area

I'm sorry, but not sorry because what in the world is going on with this place? Like since when was it $33 per adult & almost $30 for kids to eat here?! That's ridiculous if you ask me! My 6yr old literally only had a bowl of rice to eat and was charged $20. Why are the meats even getting smaller and smaller? Beef tongue used to be the size of my palm, an adult palm and now it's the size of my 1 year olds palm. This place is so run down! With the amount of volume they have in customers and how much they're charging, you would think they'd have money to upgrade the place! My parent's grill kept shutting off. Can you imagine how annoying that is. The same thing that happened to us 2yrs ago! So disappointing. There wasn't even that good of options for banchan. There wasn't even kimchi!!!! Don't even get me started on the cleanliness of this place because the overhead smoke suction thing that they have... DISGUSTING. We kept having to adjust it because they would lift it to change our grill out & of course when the grills smoking we have to pull it down... Guess what decides to plop out if it in the middle of dinner... A PIECE OF MEAT! And the waitress had the nerve to ask "are you okay though?!" With a tone as if she could care less. I'm sorry but this location needs to be closed. The 1 star is for their quick service.

Ask the Community - Sikdorak III

    Do they take reservations?

No. First come, first serve unfortunately.

I know you don't serve alcohol, but is BYOB an option?

Yes they do. When we went there recently, they allowed us to bring our own cooler with alcohol. We're going to be there again in May 2022. They also allow you to bring your own birthday cakes, just note they don't have a refrigerator to put it in.

Do you guys still required vaccine card?

Vaccine mandate ended on March 5th. Nowhere requires it

Has the lunch AYCE pricing returned? Last time I went it was only dinner AYCE pricing all day.

From the looks of it, they just have one all day pricing.

How does their take out work with the all-you-can-eat?

It's not all you can eat. It's based off a "lunch set, dinner set, etc" list they have. Their takeout menu is on their IG!

    Are they byob?

    Yes

Is the price same throughout the week?

Yes 10am-5pm lunch special AYCE for $16.95 or AYCE All day special for $25.95

    How are the dinner prices?

    About $27

Are they 24 hours alike their town location?

Nope sorry. I was hoping they were also, but I drove by Thursday @ 2:30am, and they were not open.

Do they have a phone number, I have a question but they don't seem to have a number to call?

    808-486-2092

    Do they take reservations?

Unfortunately Sikdorak doesn't take reservations. Walk ins only :(

What days are the lunch specials and from what times?

Lunch specials are going for $15.95 till 5pm. 5pm till closing is dinner. You can still order side orders till whenever the kitchen is done.

    What's their phone number?

    808-486-2092

Does anyone know if they do lunch special?

They offer a cheaper (around $15.95) with a smaller selection of meat options

The food is good, I love AYCE BBQ and all of the meat they provide is EXCELLENT, especially the pork/samgyupsal. The only thing they can beat at is the beef tongue, while it is still very good, Gyu Kaku has better beef tongue but it's just expensive so not worth it at all. Their banchan is great, I am a fan of the Kim Chi they serve here, it has a nice funk to it and a subtle sourness that cuts through the well marbled meat you'll be eating. The Kim Chi soup is also great as well, just as a warning, if you rarely eat kimchi you WILL have increased bowel movements which is not food poisoning but it's the probiotic gut health nature of Kim Chi that flushes you out. So eat it in moderation. My favorite picks are the Pork Jowl/Brisket/Bulgogi/Beef Belly, you literally cannot miss with whatever you pick, it's all very tasty and easy to eat. The service is awesome and feels homy, all the auntys walk around and do their own thing and sometimes check up on you/restock your banchan/soup if you want them to. If you're not used to how asian auntys talk or behave please don't take it negatively, they express themselves in a brusque manner but they really mean the best.
