Genesis Window Tinting - Cybertruck Wraps - PPF and Vinyl

Genesis Window Tinting

(200 reviews)

I originally came to Genesis Window Tinting to get some basic information on doing a Full PPF,…read morepossibly Stealth XPEL, and ended up becoming a returning customer. I went into the store and was greeted by Lennie (sorry if I misspelled it!). She was very personable and friendly, and she would recognize me at later visits which made the experience of using Genesis amazing and like catching up with an old friend. I told her what I was thinking about and she grabbed Sid, the store manager (I think), who walked with me back to the car. Sid is incredibly knowledgeable and upfront. I told him what I was thinking and he gave me some options on what I could do. Initially looking at the XPEL Stealth, he demonstrated on my car what it could look like by placing a small strip of it. He pointed out the little, specks of sparkle in the grey paint of my car that made it unique and expressed that putting the stealth on the car will remove that. I ended up changing my mind and went with the Llumar Valor PPF which had integrated ceramic coating, more neutral PPF color tone that accentuated the sparkle in the OEM paint, and added the Windshield skin to protect the OEM windshield (much cheaper than later replacing the full OEM windshield + calibration). Sid did not pressure me for these options nor felt like a salesman. He gave me the information and I led myself to the natural decision of what I wanted for my car. (Was very close to getting a green PPF wrap, but the OEM colour is too good!) Dealing with Genesis was incredibly personable and upfront. Sid answered my questions about price ranges of PPF jobs that I've seen online, walked me through the process, and was very communicative. I even asked about lower priced competitors and their closest competitor in Yelp ratings. He did not badmouth them, and even complimented their competitor for doing great jobs on the cars he's seen. That integrity is what sold me on using Genesis. I didn't even go to their competitor when I had originally planned to because the service was that good. Anyway. Genesis is awesome and I recommend them for future PPF jobs and tinting services!

Top-notch experience from start to finish with Genesis Window Tint. Sid, the owner, went above and…read morebeyond right from the initial phone call. He carefully explained their tint options and highlighted the quality of their Pinnacle ceramic film. After the call, he emailed me a detailed email outlining everything we discussed with a price quote and a good-better-best breakdown. At the appointment, the team was incredibly patient and took their time walking me through the options again. What stood out most was their willingness to show me cars similar to mine so I could visually compare tint levels before deciding. They're clearly Tesla specialists and are very familiar with my car. The workmanship is flawless. Since getting the Pinnacle ceramic tint installed, I've noticed a huge improvement in heat reduction. Couldn't be happier with the results or the service.

NorCal Wraps & Tint - Gloss PPF

NorCal Wraps & Tint

I don't take the time to write reviews unless someone consistently delivers at a high level, and…read moreTate and the team at NorCal Wraps & Tint have earned that over and over again. I stay busy and go through anywhere from 10 to 30 cars a year. That ranges from regular daily drivers all the way up to cars well over 400k. One thing I've learned the hard way is that tint is not about the product, it's about the installer. You can have the best film in the world and still get a bad result if the install isn't right. These guys understand that at a high level. Most dealerships won't tint the front windshield, and that's a must for me. I always go with 3M Crystalline for heat rejection and clarity. Instead of wasting time coordinating schedules, I just text Tate. No back and forth, no headaches. They pick up the car, do their work, and drop it back exactly where it was. I'll be out of town, come back, and the cars are sitting right where I left them with the keys placed safely and everything handled professionally. That level of trust is rare. I've been working with them for over four years now, and they've touched a lot of my cars. Not once have I had to chase them down, worry about quality, or question the work. The shop itself is dialed in, but what stands out more is the people. They're young, they're hungry, they're competitive with pricing, and they care about what they're doing. That combination is hard to find. Another thing most people wouldn't think about is handling the cars themselves. My driveway has a steep 20 percent plus grade, and these guys handle getting cars in and out without hesitation. That alone tells you they're comfortable, experienced, and respectful with high-value vehicles. I've trusted them with everything from lower-priced cars to high-dollar builds, and they've treated every single one the same. That says a lot about their standards. At the end of the day, I trust them, and I keep going back. That should tell you everything you need to know. If you want it done right the first time and don't want to deal with nonsense, call them.

Disappointing Experience - Warranty Repairs Still Unresolved…read more I chose this company to wrap and ceramic-coat my Tesla Cybertruck because they are local and I wanted to support a local business. I expected quality workmanship and reliable after-sales support, particularly given their advertised lifetime workmanship warranty. Unfortunately, the wrap began lifting and peeling, and the ceramic coating lost its hydrophobic properties after only a few months. Both Noah and Tate acknowledged my concerns. Tate specifically discussed replacing affected panels and applying another ceramic coating. However, despite repeated attempts to arrange the repairs, I've experienced multiple scheduling delays, cancellations and poor communication. On one occasion, I had my Cybertruck ready for a confirmed 9 AM pickup, but the team arrived several hours late. On another occasion, the scheduled work was delayed because the necessary replacement materials were unavailable. Noah eventually directed me to coordinate directly with Tate, but my subsequent messages went unanswered. I have repeatedly made it clear that my Cybertruck is available for the repairs, so scheduling on my end is not the obstacle. I understand that businesses experience staffing challenges and operational changes, but those circumstances should not prevent a company from honoring its warranty or communicating with its customers. I am now considering filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), regardless of whether NorCal Wraps is BBB-accredited. BBB accreditation is not required for a consumer to submit a complaint. I have retained the invoices, photographs and written communications documenting the defects, repair commitments and repeated scheduling problems. I would still prefer to resolve this directly with NorCal Wraps. However, after more than a year of dealing with these issues, I expect a concrete resolution rather than another promise to schedule the work.
