The only bright spot was Tonya. Beware of the ---1 (star) costs $3K-$5K 2 $5K-$7K 3 $7500 and up --- sales pitch as it is only a ploy to get your budget pegged and drive the needs for your site up on you. The bottom line is that the SquareSpace platform allows much of traditional costs for coding and designing a website to be drastically lowered. Squarespace makes designing a websiter EASIER by including off-the-shelf building blocks of the most popular features of websites to be easily added at the click of a button. The cost for designing a SquareSpace website should be LESS expensive and not MORE expensive than traditionally designed websites on the Joomla or Wordpress platform. Instead JCI upcharges anytime you want to add basic things such as an actual portfolio to your site. So I ask, "which is better, the picture on the phone or the original picture in the car?" she says "picture on your phone is ok, just email it to me"....so I emailed it to her and then I wait while she prints it. I go home and I get the original picture out of the car and notice that the one she printed is not as sharp as the original.... so I call the owner of the store. He says "the original is always a better way to go." I tell him that she didn't say that even though I asked. Then I asked if they can redo it at no charge.... (I mean it only took like a minute to do it.) and he said "no, we'll have to charge you again." so they've lost a customer because they didn't want to do a simple little re-do even though it was their fault and should've been done again at no charge.

Super disappointing customer service. I'm trying to call around to get quotes on various sizes and…read moretypes of banners, but they will barely talk to you about anything of substance on the phone. They want everything via email. I don't want to deal with a back and forth email exchange. I just want to get some very basic information, but the woman I talked to kept directing me to send an email. I get the wonderful benefits of email, but it's not for every situation. Even after I told her that I want to get quotes over the phone her response was "most people want official quotes via email". I'm obviously not most people, but it should NOT be so difficult to get helped over the phone. Really disappointing since they have such good prices and are supportive of non-profits. I've worked with several other businesses in town and never had such a hard time getting a general quote over the phone. I really want to take my business elsewhere because of this experience.
