Signs by Scott is a business ran by a creative and talented person that does everything in his power to do a great job every single time! These days it's rare for somone to promis less and deliver more. If you have a special request Scott will put forth much effort to see that your wishes become beautiful realities. Everyone wants to be seen, recognized and appreciated. Engraving is a wonderful way to do that, and to make it extremely personal. Scott offers many ways of personalizing items as well as many items that can be personalized. These vary widely from trophies to plaques, name tags with your organization's logo included, cups, signs and more. If you have a special job that you want done right, Scott is the man to call. I have had a wide assortment of projects that he's worked on, and each time he provided perfection. I couldn't be happier or praise his work enough. Thank you Scott for all you do. You are a very honorable person to work with. I recommend you to everyone! read more

Goodness, what a horrible person, the worst service one could ever receive. I wanted a design on a book, on a material he said he's never used before. He was very rude to my questions, when all I wanted was to understand the process, and make minor suggestions to give him a better idea of what I wanted. But no, he said he "knows what [he's] doing" Even though he clearly didn't. My design ended up poorly done, it was not finished, and got all up on my face and raised his voice when I asked him to finish it after telling me that was all he could do. What I wanted wasn't complex or anything out the ordinary, Scott was just rude and very disrespectful. Would never go to him again, and highly suggest anyone else wouldn't either. read more

Great customer service and very fair pricing! He did the name Tags in English and Katakana (Japanese) for Swift tours Square dancing to Japan. Japanese square dancers were amazed at the accuracy of the font and ease to read from across the square. read more

I needed keychains and tumblers engraved last minute for a small event and Scott was great to work with. He was flexible timing wise and got them done perfectly. Because I needed them done quickly I drove over to the east bay (I'm in the city), and he got them done on the spot and I returned to the city with everything branded the way I wanted them. His pricing is very reasonable and he answered all my questions patiently and knowledgeably. He's my go to engraver now. read more

Everything went well. Scott talked about each step of the engraving process and the end result was spectacular!

Precise custom engraving, excellent service! I needed an award for a special occasion, and I'm glad I found Scott. He is a true expert, made excellent recommendations, and stayed in touch throughout the process. The logo was of particular concern to Scott. Rather than using an online image, Scott requested the original file and he was right on. The logo came out perfectly! The final product is stunning, and my friend/former boss really loves it! I appreciate Scott's attention to detail, and genuine care that I was happy with the result. read more

I've used Scott's service when I received my custom plates three years ago. I wanted a final touch with a perfect frame to compliment who I am. I called Signs by Scott to ask if they could engrave the wooden box of my dog's cremains. Scott made time for me that afternoon. He helped me with the design and offered suggestions for how to do it. He suggested a metal plaque rather than engraving in the wood. That was a perfect solution; I had been concerned that engraving directly in the wood would be hard to see and almost disrespectful of my little friend. Scott was compassionate and understIanding, and I am quite pleased with the result. I was impressed with Scott's willingness to give his time and attention to my relatively small job, and his attitude that he wanted to do his best possible to memorialize my dear companion (at a reasonable cost). read more

Scott is my lifesaver today! We were desperately looking for someone to make a laser cut acrylic name for a bridal shower. My husband and I must have called at least 10 businesses in our neighborhood and no one knew or understood what we were talking about. I can order it online but won't make it in time. I called Scott and he knew exactly what I needed. He was so kind and understanding that he made the name immediately to accommodate me so that I don't have to make a second trip. Scott is awesome!!! Signs by Scott is a business run out of someone's cluttered house. Scott is a good Craftsman who has pretty everything thing you need to do a custom job but lacks people skills and tact. At times he was notably flustered when working through a design concept and even at one point swore during our conversation, Cautioning me not to F*$* something up. He'll get the job done and it'll look good but if your looking for a professional in the every sense of the word look some where else. read more
