I can't say enough great things about Parker at Seattle Boat! He stayed in touch with me for over…read moretwo years--never pushy, always patient--and when the time was right, he helped me find the perfect Cobalt. Not only did he answer every one of my (many!) questions along the way, but he also personally arranged delivery from Seattle to Lake Chelan, directly to my boat slip, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Parker truly went above and beyond, and I'm so grateful for his professionalism, dedication, and genuine care throughout the process. If you're looking for someone who really puts the customer first, Parker is your guy!

I would be cautious when dealing with this company for a few reasons. We were looking at a used…read moreboat with them. The price was negotiated before we looked at it with the caveat that the boat was in good condition. They also signed a letter of intent on price with a new trailer vs. using one they had there. Experience when we got there to test drive was great and kid that took us out on the water was super nice. However when we pulled the boat out to look at the hull (when they said boat was in good condition), the entire outdrive was very chewed up (more than just the skeg itself). Parker who was the salesman kind of just dismissed us saying we couldn't make a deal that day (for various reasons) and went back on the letter of intent price we had in writing for both the boat (couple hundred bucks difference) and the new trailer price (couple thousand dollars difference). He said he would call the next morning and never did. Something must have happened with him going back on what he personally wrote in writing vs. what he said that day however having multiple dishonest practices is enough for me to not do business with them.

I'm a new-ish…read moreboat owner who moved up here from Louisiana, so winterizing is not something I'm familiar with, nor was our tech down in New Orleans. Anyway - Mike was SO helpful answering our questions and did so after hours. I have spoken with numerous other boat shops before when I've had rookie questions, but they've usually been snappy and impatient. Not Mike! He didn't make me feel rushed to get off the phone or that I was inconveniencing him. He gave me some great basic winterization info and I feel so much better going into this nasty cold weather coming this weekend. Thanks Mike! I am definitely going to keep Union Marine in mind for future services.

I really liked the sales effort and personal attention before and during the long sales process…read more Scott Kay was knowledgeable and attentive until the deal went through and then he dropped us like a hot rock. The new MasterCraft XT22 has had some issues with software and although he said he would be there for us and promised to install the registration stickers, he did not. He just directed me to Julia the Service lead via email. The service interaction has not been a stellar experience. Although Julia is responsive, there is little effort or follow through substance in the interactions. My boat is flawed and no one seems to care and if they do they have no sense of urgency or reasonable communication. It could be that they can't fix it without MasterCraft's help, but they could be more attentive to the interval of communication and give me some timeline to resolution. It is too bad, I had hoped they would be better at all of this as it is their main business. One note of praise goes to June who help us test our boat and even taught us to surf. She lent us her wake board and was very friendly and considerate with her sharing of knowledge and expertise.

This was our 5th buying and selling transaction with Jake and the Sundance team, and once again, the entire experience was exceptional. From the owners and service department to every team member we interacted with, we always felt valued and treated like clients for life--not just customers completing a transaction. Jake was incredibly involved and genuinely invested in helping us find the right boat for our needs. He took the time to understand what we were looking for and helped guide us through the entire process until we found and purchased the right boat for us. There is so much more to Sundance than simply buying or selling a boat. It's the knowledge, service, relationships, and guidance you receive throughout the entire experience that really sets them apart. We highly recommend reaching out to Jake Ross and Sundance Yacht Sales if you're looking for your next boat. You'll get much more than a sales transaction--you'll get a team that is there to help you every step of the way.

I highly recommend buying from them.

No liveaboards, no guest moorage. there is a 24 hour keycode to a simple clean but dark lavatory (that chronically smells of refried beans from the restaurant above) and shower for marina users and no other facilities at the docks, but you are within a mile of a lot of great boat and hardware stores (fisherman's supply, and hardwicks), and a 10 minute walk to a bizillion restaurants on university ave. and, it is a fantastic location if you work at the UW or university hospital. some small boat slots are against the shore, and thus not very secure, but it's a pretty good neighborhood -- somewhat surprisingly, undergrads that maraud nearby neighborhoods do not seem to bother the boats. (maybe some inebriated survival instinct is at play there?) the big drawback on this place is the parking. you can pay an extra $30/month or so for a pass to the adjacent lot, but it is only good for 4 hours, 24 hours a day. on top of the 'highest moorage rate in the city', another $30 starts to get annoying, though not totally out of line. for longer parking, there is paid daily parking about 2 blocks away. they also have a couple funky, no-power, no-gate cheaper slots about a block to the west, but i suspect these are available pretty rarely. maybe i'm just having trouble dealing with change, but it kind of cranks me to have to pay $30 in parking every time i take the boat out for the weekend -- and not even get to park at the dock. at that rate, fishermans terminal, shilshoe, everett and edmonds are all looking better and better, so i think my days at boat street are numbered. if you're looking for mega cheap, check out port of brownsville - under $150 for 32'. but getting there practically requires organizing a safari...it is so inaccessible to the city. keyword: moorage
