I have been coming here for over ten years and a review is way overdue. I absolutely love this salon and recommend all locals to come here. I have never had a bad experience, not one infection in all of the years I have patronized this place. My tech of choice is Tracy and the runner up is Becky, the owner. Both ladies are a delight and tend to your needs as requested. I have never been disappointed with the final product. I definitely recommend an appointment as I don't see walk-ins the way they used to get them before COVID. Also, please bring cash unless you're ok paying a service charge for using a card. Color is cute, but for the service and price, I would say it's not worth it. I don't want to be one of those customers, but a regular pedi for $40, when it was advertised for $16 and it being rushed is just not right. She had a glove on one hand and the other one taking phone calls/putting her airpod in and out of her ear then going back to my foot. First time here and met Becky! She was amazing!!!! I had just left my old place of 7 years because I got a severe infection from Dirty tools. It took me two months to get up the nerve to get my feet done after the infection. Becky did such a fantastic job and the place was super clean! ( CLEAN is a major plus these days). Besides my nail tech talking shit about me in Vietnamese after I pointed out the extra varnish that got on my skin (and then asking if I'm Vietnamese, realizing I'm Vietnamese, and then proceeding to ask if I speak Vietnamese, and the color draining from her face when I told her I understand Vietnamese, resulting in a very awkward tension and silence), and the other nail tech filing off my acrylic gel nails poorly leaving all this residue and drying the shit out of my hands, even THEN, I'd give them 2 stars because I'm a nice person. What's not acceptable is that they DO NOT sanitize their pedicure basins. I watched another client get in the same chair as mine five seconds after I had gotten up to move to the manicure tables, and they filled his basin with water without sanitizing it! What if I had fungus or other foot disease? This guy seemed unsuspecting and dunked his feet into the basin. The basin where my feet had been scrubbed, cuticules had been thrown in, germs had been spread, etc. Don't cheap out. A $19 pedicure is not worth a foot infection. I was desperate to get my nails removed so I went in, but that's seriously disgusting. read more

Okay, so I've found a nail salon that I will come back to. Their prices are pretty good ($10 mani, $14 pedi, $20 mani&pedi, $26 spa mani&ped, and $3 extra if you want the french tip), very friendly atmosphere and it's close to home. They had this scary sharp tool that they used on my big toe. It pinched like pishy but I was very happy with the end product. I think they shaved down a bit of my nail ... I like it =D I always have a problem with my big toe's nail and it pinching me on the edges/not feeling comfortable. The massage chairs are much more comfortable than the others that I've been to and the lady adjusted the temp to my liking! And I got to sit next to my friend! My only gripe about this place is that I made an appointment for 6:15 and didn't get serviced till 7...ish...but I don't know if I should be blaming them or the people who had the appointment before us (group of 4-5) and came UBER late T_T The ladies kept on apologizing to us over and over again, so I guess that counts for something XD I think this was the only place where I bled and the manicurist was like...JENNY-FER! YOUR SKIN! SO DELICATE! You bleed sooo easily! And I just kinda laughed and said yeah. I got the french tip and the older manicurist did my hands. She painted them on without using the acetone, interesting. It's a bit crooked but I was kind of twisted trying to talk to my friend. My right hand looks amazing for her to not use the acetone though! My toes look amazing and so does my friend's. In fact, she's so impressed, she wants to take her mommy there XD I'd take mine too, if I can convince her XD And who knows, maybe I'll get a discount/special treatment, if my mommy speaks to them in Vietnamese ;P They already liked me better for speaking Cantonese XD...I think...maybe they're just THAT friendly =) --Update (05.24.08): Never again...you guys are nice but never again will you touch any part of my body. My pinky hurts everytime type =( Their prices are now $25 for a REGULAR mani/pedi AND they make you buy your own (cheap cheap cheap!) nail file, pumice, brush thingy and whatevers for another $3. That nail file looked like it had gravel stuck to it T_T Needless to say, when the pregnant lady took it to file down the nail on my pinky...she went straight INTO the meat. Okay, I said I wanted my nails as short as you could get it...NOT file down my pinky so you can make it shorter T_T DON'T EVER GET THE PREGNANT LADY!!! Cuticles are badly cut and her work was lumpy. The owner came in and repainted my WHOLE set of nails and scolded her for my cuticles (in Vietnamese of course, so I wouldn't know what she was talking about...). She tried to just redo one hand but I asked her to do the other one too. And now there are bubbles all over my nails. My friend told me to do it again but, seriously, I did not want to go through that again-_- I liked the lady that did my toes, my flowers are cute but I'm missing one jewel =T If you see her keep dropping the jewel, make sure she puts more glue on that before she applies it on again-_- So this Memorial weekend, I paid $32 for my left pinky and right big toe to be filed into, bought a bunch of stuff I didn't want because of "new" health regulations (at least get higher quality stuff), badly cut cuticles and paint job for my hands (seriously, it doesn't even look like I had it done professionaly), and a missing jewel. I tipped the girl that did my feet $6, she was nice, I liked her. I had my bf give $3 to the owner but she sent him to the pregnant lady. NO!!! He was right to tip YOU...I do not tip people that cut into my pinky and then doesn't even wash her hands so that her thumb is covered in my blood T_T! read more

My friend recomended this place to me so I decided to give it a try.... My pedi was great no complaints at all but my gel mani was.. Is horrible I got them done on Saturday and its Monday and its already lifting not mentioning the lady who did my nails super rude did had me twisted the entire time bc she did it at the same time of my pedi. They supposedly close at seven but when we got there at 6:15pm with no appointment and there were other customers there already they told us if we wait and awhile we would be helped. They are very accommodating, while I was getting my nails done, another woman came by after they were supposed to be closed but they helped her too. Its not the cheapest nail place you can find but their pricing is correct. Close to home for me and they take care of you and thats worth a couple extra bucks in my book. I feel conflicted about this place. I walked out with a perfectly good manicure at a cheap price ($12 not including tip) done with close attention to detail at an unhurried pace, but there were a couple things that stood out during my visit that made it slightly unpleasant. For one, the manicurist spent perhaps more time than necessary picking at my cuticles and the skin around my nails. They felt really raw and a bit swollen by the end of it. I probably should have spoken up but she was a sweet lady and meant well. Second, she used her own nails to dig under mine and clean out mistakes she'd made with the polish. It felt a bit unsanitary and again she used more force than needed, digging into my already tender skin. I needed a last minute pedicure so I decided to check out Signature Nails, which was in the area. THE AMBIANCE: When I walked in during my lunch time there were four (4) women working. I had looked at previous reviews and many people were recommending Tracy so when the woman who spoke with me asked me what services I was looking for I said I would like a pedicure with Tracy. She told me she was Tracy and looked at me with a "who are you?" face. I was definitely put off by that exchange. I told Tracy that I was new to the salon and she had been recommended. She replied that she had no time that day and I took a seat to wait for a woman who was almost finished with her client. Another woman came as a walk-in and Tracy knew her because she greeted her by name, smiled, and asked her what service she was looking for. The woman was looking for a pedicure and Tracy told her the wait time was fifteen (15) minutes. MY PEDICURIST: I don't remember her name but my pedicurist was an older woman with short hair and very straight forward/opinionated. I had chosen my nail color, which was a soft pink, and once she painted my nails she was going to apply a medium pink-colored top coat. I asked her if she had any clear-colored top coat and she said, "no, no, this one." I told her that I would prefer a clear-colored top coat so that the soft pink nail color remained the same but she was adamant that it would not change the color and that the pink-colored top coat would look much nicer. It made me laugh because she really did not want to back down and she went ahead and put the pink-colored top coat on top. I wasn't trying to get upset about it so I let it go. I did, however, feel a bit uncomfortable because I felt like I couldn't make my own decisions and I was paying! Other than that, she was very thorough with the pedicure and the results were good. THE RATING: I would have to give Signature Nails two (2) stars because I have experienced better customer service and have been able to decide how I want my nails done at other places. THE TIPS: Be on notice that they take a LONG time to do a pedicure. I have seen this noted in other reviews. I walked in around 1:15pm, was seen at about 1:30pm, and my pedicure was done at almost 3pm. read more

Great quality of work and service here, this is now my go-to place! Their spa pedicure is the best, with big comfy massage chairs and technicians that are very meticulous and thorough, as well as polite and friendly. I love the exfoliating scrub they massage your legs and feet with. This is up there with spa pedicures I've gotten at fancy high-end places, but guess what, it's $19, not $50! I can't say enough about all aspects of service here, from the current magazine selection to the wonderful selection of OPI and Essie polishes, to the cleanliness of the place and most importantly, the great staff! I agree with Jessica C. This is also my go-to place to get my nails done. The price and quality of service is just great- $26 for mani & spa pedi, $10 for mani only. They use an exfoliating scrub on your feet and legs, which is usually an add-on at other places. My pedicures are relaxing and never feel rushed. The ladies who work here are nice and aren't gossipy like the staff at a lot of nail salons. When you're done, there's a cushy sofa and loveseat for you to sit on as your nails dry. I've been coming here for 2 years now. I used to live near this salon and have since moved about 20 minutes away. However, I always find myself returning here after going to closer, lesser-quality and more expensive places. I've learned my lesson and will only come here from now on. If it matters to you, they have Essie, OPI, and China Glaze polish to choose from. I always just walk in, but it might be helpful to make an appointment during peak times, such as the weekend. I love this place! I first tried this place because of some of the reviews from fellow yelpers and I was impressed. I've been to several different nail salons and this is now officially my home salon! The people are super friendly and recognize me whenever I go in, which isn't very often because I'm not a girly girl who gets manis and pedis frequently. The facilities are clean and they do a great job! There was once when I got my nails done and had to dart off to a job interview. I left the interview only to find out that one of my nails got messed up. I called them up and came back that same day and they re-did it for me free of charge. I tipped them for their time and they wanted to give me the money back because they didn't feel right taking my money!! I had manicure and pedicure for $28, can't tell any differences from shops. The girl who did my nails is more experienced than the girl did my toes. The manager Betty did my eyebrow for $10, she did great job. And I think she is the only one can communicate w/o problem there. All staffs are very nice though. They don't allow you to swipe your credit card unless you spend more than $20 there. I ask the girl charge me $28+$10+$3(cleaning package)+$5(tip)=$46, but she gave me a receipt for $46.50. Why? She said we charge the "process fee" 50 cents, we wrote on the wall. Oh, YA,Should I look at the every corner of this place before I give my card to you?! I've been here twice and so far I like it a lot. The spa foot massage is very enjoyable and they use a scrub and massage you allowing you to relax. I also got a fill here she did a good job at keeping the shape of the nails how I wanted them... only complaint was the Polish job wasn't clean looks lumpy I think she should have put some accetone in the Polish to help it glide on better. Hopefully next time that won't be over looked. Oh and my pedicure took 80 mins!! Anyway I would definitely recommend this place. I got my first acrylic set at this salon but after going to other salons and seeing the proper way to do an acrylic set I know that I will never go there again. The application was painful and sloppy with glue that dried all over my cuticles, sides and underneath my actual nail. I asked for pointed stiletto and they filed down the sides of my real nail so far into my bed that it really hurt. It took about a week to stop hurting. I asked for some rhinestone design to be applied and the woman doing my nails kept trying to convince me to do less because it looked "more elegant" and continued to huff and puff through the process out of frustration. I know now what a proper new set application is like and it shouldn't hurt like that ever and glue should be flied away and cleaned up. The salon is very small and does not look as clean as most salons I've been to. I will not be going back. read more

The ladies are nice but you definitely do feel the language barrier. Ive been to so many different nail salons, that just by watching how they work, i know if they are great or not. This place is not supplied well. They dont even have real nail drying fans. I didnt get disposable flipflops with the toe dividers, nor do they use disposable filers and buffers. Sure, the price was cheap, but id rather pay more and feel like i got a good pampering. I wasn't happy w the paint job on the manicure, the owner noticed and discussed it w the tech in her native language so I know she noticed it as well. I always have a pleasant experience with any of the ladies who work here, but ive only had mani/pedi done. I especially like the complimentary exfoliating scrub they use for the feet/legs and how they massage it in plus the lotion/oil massage as well. Nice Owner but everything else deserved only 1 star. I have been trying to find a nail salon that is clean and follows COVID guidelines. I was recommended here but was quickly disappointed! While I was sitting for my pedicure she was playing something off her phone and then was on the phone chatting for most of the time. So much for a relaxing visit to the nail salon! Then I noticed she's using tools from a pile on her stand. At that point it took a lot out of me not to walk out. I saw sterilizing liquid but at no point did I see her retrieve the tools from a designated sterile area. After all of that, when I got home later that day, I saw she cut the side of my nail. I don't know how I missed that. Obviously wasn't a deep cut but that was the huge cherry on top. I'm never going there again. If you're like me and don't want any chance of getting an infection but don't want to pay over $30 for a pedicure I say, Don't Compromise your health, Pay the extra. read more

I love this salon! I thought I loved my nail place in Burbank. Then I heard about the gel nails and started getting that done. I didn't understand the hype about it. My friend said no you HAVE to try my place, Signature Nails, so I did. I am so thankful to of found Becky & Tracy. My gel manicures are done by Becky and they last 3 weeks. She is so meticulous too, I love it. I am picky about my cuticles. Tracy does my pedicures and does such a superb job. And their prices for gel nails is cheap compared to other salons I have been too. I can't believe it since they do such an amazing job. I always leave here so HAPPY!!
