My first time going to Sisa. I have been following her IG acct for some time. Also, my friends and some family have gone to her for nail services. Everyone warned me about the potential wait time. Still I went, why? Because her designs are GORGEOUS. She isn't afraid of doing custom designs and doing something different. Plus, I live out in Acton, if I didn't think her work was worth the drive, I would not have done it. So I am writing this review to help a future potential client (and because i appreciated her work.) Be prepared for the following: - NO APPOINTMENTS, FIRST COME FIRST SERVE... so come early. -She does work alone, and I think that's great because can ensure CONSISTENCY with her work. -Possibly long wait time. If there are 1 or 2 clients, let her know that you will be back, she will work with you if you don't want to wait. Absolute worst ... I took both my sisters and my mother ... she kept saying you guys are early then next thing you know after her lunch break she said she can only take one client knowing that was my brothers wedding and we all had to get ready --- knowing that we all sat there for over 3 hours since she doesn't take appointments at all and all are walk in but since she secures the spot for the client once gets there - so she guarantees service ... complete disrespect ... but what got us worst was the other two clients ahead of us .., how she behaved towards them was complete nightmare... my mother was just so sad we were simply just so disappointed and taken back by her behavior that we just left ... no manners what so ever!!! Found this place randomly while looking for nail salons in the city. Good interface while booking appointments. I was delayed for my appt by an hour but I had called before hand and asked if it was okay. They were super sweet about it. Customer care and service was excellent. Ithe lady who did my pedicure was super gentle about it. my appt stretched over their closing time but they were also very nice about it and didn't hurry up to get back home. Zero stars if possible. The manicurist was either trying to rip me off or just listening to what another customer was asking for. Because she tried putting fake nails on me after cutting off my really long natural nails. Then blamed me for saying nails not manicure, if she had be actually talking to me instead of the woman who had just walked through the door she might have heard me say gel mani. She actually had the audacity to charge me full price! I was a new possibly returning client, since it's on my way home. Totally unprofessional. They told us one hour wait. The manicurist took a long lunch. One hour became two and a half hours, then we were told it would be ANOTHER HOUR. We ended up leaving instead of wasting more of our time. At least be honest about the wait time. read more

Sisa is amazing! I went today on a Saturday (1st time) n had to wait for a little while, there was a line for her because she is THAT good! She was very attentive to everyone that was there to see her. And when it was my turn she paid so much attention to details and made sure that everything was on point!. She asked several times if I liked how my nails were looking and made sure that I was happy with them before she finished. I was worried she wouldn't have time to do a pedicure for me because other people were waiting but she said "no problem!!" And did a GREAT job on my toes too! I was very unsatisfied with the poor service I received today. I went for a walk-in to have my gel nail polish taken off assuming that it would take 20 minutes or so but instead took an hour...I understand that she is the only person working and there was another customer ahead of me, however, I wish she would have told me this in the beginning how long it would take me to wait before she handed me a towel and a bowl of acetone on my lap to dip my fingers in. I asked her at that moment how long it would take and she said 15-20 minutes. So okay, I waited...time went by and I started getting impatient so I tried scrapping off a bit of my nail polish off my nails on my own, I think she noticed me doing that and came by and handed me a tool that would help me scrap off the rest...so basically I was doing the work myself...like really, if I knew I was going to do that I wouldn't have stopped by that nail location from the beginning. At around 50 minutes when she was done working with the customer ahead of me she finally was able to pay attention to me and remove the remainder of the nail polish (which wasn't much since I did most of the job) and helped me buff my nails. Overall, I am extremely unsatisfied with the service and will not be returning for future services. read more
