Love the girls - they do amazing work and always with great service levels and a smile

I visited Haley's Nails Salon on Mother's Day weekend and overall I'd give my experience a 3/5. I called around 3 p.m. asking if they had availability. At first I was told 4 p.m., then it got pushed to 4:30, which was totally fine. When I arrived, the salon was pretty packed, which I expected because of Mother's Day. I got the $39 classic pedicure with callus removal, and overall the pedicure itself was nice. The process just felt a little rushed. They still did the massage and hot towel, but everything moved pretty quickly, as the lady kept saying her back hurt, which I understand considering how busy they were. For my acrylic nails, I showed a reference picture. They didn't have the exact color from the photo, which honestly wasn't a problem for me. My main request was short, very square nails. Unfortunately, it felt like my request for shorter nails was more of a hassle than anything. Since I was one of the last clients there and the owner was doing my nails, it honestly seemed rushed toward the end of the appointment. I didn't notice everything right away because I left around 6:30 and headed to the store afterward. Once I really looked at my nails, I noticed several issues. Some nails are different lengths and sizes, some look crooked, and the shape came out more rounded/"duck nail" style instead of the short square shape I asked for. I'll be including pictures for reference. My total before tip came out to $104 and then to $107 after a $3 card charge that wasn't disclosed beforehand. I still left a $25 tip because I understand how busy and stressful holiday weekends can be. In total, I paid $132, which makes it more disappointing considering I'm not happy with the acrylic set itself. I understand acrylic can only be corrected so much once it's already done, so I didn't feel like there was much that could realistically be fixed afterward. At this point, I'll just wait for them to grow out. Would I return? Probably for a pedicure. Would I get acrylics here again? Most likely not. I think this experience was more of a lesson for me personally that acrylics may just not be for me anymore. Overall, not a horrible experience, but I wasn't satisfied with the final nail result, especially for the price, so I'd give this salon a solid 2/5. read more

Booked a gel pedi and it was pretty relaxing. May was the person who did my service. She is kind of a perfectionist and does a really nice pedicure. Throughout the pedicure she asked if anything was hurting or if anything needed to be fixed and was very thorough. I'll be requesting her from now on! read more

Ugh. I hate writing negative reviews. 4 stars- I had a 9am for a mani / pedi and a wax. The mani / pedi was fine. They were very nice. I arrived at 9 and they open at 9, so it took a minute for the woman to get organized. 2 stars - wax. I think the woman doing to wax hadn't arrived so they asked another woman to do the wax. They had me wait for about 20 min in the massage chair. No one came so I went with the other woman. There's no bed. The room is a little dark. The woman didn't turn on the lights. I was a little confused but figured she'd had a light. No light. No magnifying glass. She waxed each side once and told me she was done. She never showed me a mirror. I was so confused but I didn't say anything because I was still in shock. lol. I haven't had my eyebrows done since pre-covid and thought she might've just been really good? I was debating going back. I leave for Europe in 2 days though and I'm really busy running errands. I snapped two photos about an hour after I left. They look sloppy, they're very thin, and now I will have to wait for them to grow out and try to fix them again. :( read more

Came with a friend on a Friday afternoon -- we actually initially tried calling but we had poor communication (my fault, not the business) in terms of the time we were coming so we ended up booking appointments through the online portal. When we arrived, the place was packed! Everyone was hard at work. We both got pedicures and I was happy with the service we received. The massage chairs were comfy and the ladies were gentle but also provided thorough service in getting us *glammed*. There were constant walk-ins, but I would suggest making an appointment so you won't be turned away if all the chairs are full. Plenty of street parking on Fair Oaks! read more

Destroyed my cuticle. I felt the pain and it started bleeding because she cut too deep in my cuticle. It would not stop bleeding for good 10 minutes. She kept trying to wipe my dripping blood with dirty rag I had to request her to get alcohol to sanitize. She gave me dirty bowl and water to put my finger in for minutes so it will stop bleeding. Thank god I didn't get infection. She then said sorry but added "you haven't done your nails for long time" trying to shift the blame to me. The picture doesn't look that serious but it took weeks for me to heal and my skin became wrinkly as a result. I still tipped 15% and she said " that's it?" I'm not kidding lol I cant remember her name but she wore glasses. I really wanted to love this place since its close to trader joes, but I will be going to nail shop next to this shop. read more

I just finished a massage from happy feet which is the business next door. Let me start by saying that I am someone that is use to having a pamper day every two weeks. I would take the day have a massage, pedicure, manicure, sometimes facial. I would go shopping, to dinner and do absolutely nothing but take care of me for that day.. Then came Covid. Life and so many other variables I've neglected myself. I have long to return to that pattern behavior of taking care of myself. I'm embarrassed to say that I have not had a pedicure in a very long time. God only knows is when I had my last massage. But, I'm ready to put myself out there again and start taking care of me. I want to tell you that I am a large size man 340 pounds. I'm a critical care nurse who stands on his feet many hours throughout the day and I developed what is called Venus stasis in my lower leg. Let me tell you it's not contagious. It's just a horrible discoloration from iron that's built up in the skin due to poor circulation.. I really am embarrassed and conscientious of it when I go out in public, especially to lthe beach or someplace like that where I'm wearing shorts is appropriate, but for me it's made to feel horrible. I've come to a realization that Im 62 years old. I've done for people and others and it's time for me to get back to doing for myself.. So I walked into this salon!. I've never met them. They've never met me.. I asked a question, do you have room for a pedicure and I was quickly told yes to take a seat. Wendy enters the scene. No, she didn't introduce herself nor was she very engaging regarding conversation--could've been a language barrier -shyness, who cares -she set off to do her job. I always get the deluxe package. The exclusive, the luxury,whatever the high-end because I deserve it. Well, here it included a massage and I was looking totally forward to it. I couldn't help notice that during the process of Wendy doing my pedicure, the lady to her left was very intrigued by looking at the discoloration of my leg instead of focusing on her client. I really wanted to say, can I answer any of your questions l, but I thought you know that would make everyone feel uncomfortable, that's not my style. I knew that Venus stasis was about iron deposit in your legs and not contagious. It's just not pretty to look at.. I watched as Wendy continued her duties, providing a pedicure of service that I sought. I did notice her eyes as she looked at the coloration on legs. I wanted to tell her don't worry, Wendy it's not contagious. It's just a different color.. and no, I don't have diabetes. I wanted to tell her don't worry about it. It's not a big deal. I'm fat. I'm a Nurse. I stand on my feet 12 to 18 hours a day at times caring for the sick. Yes, I've done 18 hour shifts back in the day. I used to do 24 hour believe it or not.. I thought that would be a little forward, so I opt out not to do that. So, after what I felt was an amazing pedicure, maybe be a little more assertive on the massage next time, Wendy. I gathered my things, and I was ready to pay. I left a $25 tip which to me as minimum compared to dealing with a strangers feet. Then I realized I wake up at 6 PM to go for a night shift at 7 PM. By 8 o'clock on my shift, I could be cleaning the ass of a stranger of his or her fecal matter, and I've never judge him. I'm just thankful I was there to help them. , So I want to say thank you Wendy for making me feel comfortable in an odd situation of a new meet and greet. We both have occupations where we take care of strangers who bring us very odd things to deal with mine just happens to be a discolored leg I do look forward to coming back to your chair, and hopefully many more experiences of getting a pretty good pedicure. I had a really disappointing experience at this nail salon. The quality of work was honestly a 4/10 at best. Despite explaining multiple times what I wanted, the technician didn't seem to understand a very simple request. I had to constantly remind them about the desired length, which made the whole process frustrating and uncomfortable. I've been coming here regularly to get my pedicure and would highly recommend this place. It's a cozy spot but I usually come during off hours and they're able to accommodate me without an apportionment. Because there's limited seating, I'd recommend scheduling an appointment if you come during the higher traffic times. read more

This place had really good reviews, so I was shocked by what I found. The spray faucet had dead skin all over it, and it was falling into my foot water at the pedicure chair. This was the fastest pedicure I've ever had. The lady was in such a rush. She wasn't detailed at all, and not one part of it was good. She barely brushed the callus remover on my foot. The massage was mediocre. She didn't file my nails straight. The cuticle cleaning sucked. It was just all in all not somewhere that I would recommend or go to again. oh and I almost forgot, there was a sign on the wall that said drinks for valuable customers, and they never offered me anything, I guess I wasn't valued... at the end, I asked if my nails were dry so I could leave, but the lady told me they weren't dry yet and a few seconds later when a new customer walked in they forced me to leave the chair to give her my space. Great Service! I have been driving by this spot since it opened. I decided to finally walk in. It was an early Thursday afternoon. They were not busy with only one customer. There were three staff members. I was attended to very quickly and they asked what type of services I required. I had a gel French manicure It was nicely applied and looked lovely It's been 2 weeks and it still looks nice. My nails do grow fast. I paid $40. There is a $1 fee for credit cards. I had an ingrown nail, after getting a pedicure from the salon next-door. I called Hailey nails just before closing, at 6:50 PM. Many other nail salons would not take me because they were closing. However, at Hailey, they said come on in. I got there at 6:55 PM. My ingrown nail was removed without any difficulty, and I had minimal pain. Hannah was very nice to me; she was professional and skilled. I was out of there by 7:05 PM. Superb service; nice atmosphere. Small and cozy space. This was my second visit, and my first was pleasant. However, the lady who removed the previous gel pedicure with the nail drill, cut my big toe. I flinched because it stung really bad and I told her, but she brushed it off and kept going. I didn't see any blood at the moment so I thought maybe it was just sore. But it stung the whole time. I paid and even tipped her because I at least liked the results, but when I got home I could see the cut. It still hurts a lot and I wish she could have just apologized and at least put some ointment or something on it. She did speak to another employee in a different language as she was holding the nail drill so I'm pretty sure she knew she cut me.
