I had the worst experience here and would never recommend this place. I was charged $80 just to remove my Gel-X nails and a gel pedicure, with no polish or color applied afterward. The tech didn't even remove the gel completely, and my nails ended up turning blue afterward. The place is filthy and unsanitary -- she even used the same drill machine on me that she had just used on another customer without cleaning it. When I questioned the price, she said it was because I'd be coming back tomorrow to finish my nails (which I never agreed to). She refused to lower the price and insisted it was a "manicure and pedicure," even though I got no color and incomplete service. To make it worse, she only accepts Zelle or cash, which she didn't mention before starting the service. That's very sketchy and unprofessional -- I couldn't even use my card, and when I questioned it, she started yelling at me. Worst nail salon experience ever. I found out about Noemi Nails when I had my hair done by Noemi. Since I saw that they had nail techs/nail salons, I made it a point to come back for my nails to be done by them. I was so stressed out one day because I had an event to go to but my nails weren't done. I called Noemi and she gave me Tammy's number to call/text to set up an appointment. Tammy agreed to see me later that day. I got there @ 3:35-3:40pm but she was doing someone else's nails. And then while attending to me (after the other lady), she got another call about someone wanting to refill and will be there in about 15mins I guess (around 4:15). She then asked the lady on the phone to come in at 4:30pm instead. The lady came in so she asked me if it's okay for her to do hers first since it'll be quick. I said yes because I felt like it was rude to say no. The lady that was doing my pedicure had done scrubs and stuff already and by the time she was done was the only time Tammy came back to do my nails. She thanked me for waiting and said that because I waited for so long, she will waive the removal fee (I had dipping powder nails done prior). After 2-3 weeks, I came back for a refill and I already had an appointment set up. When I got there (FYI I came from the Valley that time so I drove more than an hour to get there), she was doing another lady's nails and one was waiting. She asked me if I could wait for her to finish the one that she's doing and the other lady's who is waiting, I told her no and she told the lady (who was waiting) to come back 30mins later since she didn't have an appointment. Both scenarios would leave me feeling like Tammy was rushing and so aggressive with removing my nails or whatever. She and the other lady, who did my pedi, were really nice. Albeit, Tammy is a little aggressive on her process. I would appreciate it if she would be a little gentle next time. All that aside, Tammy is really good with acrylics. Give them a try! This place looks old but it's clean, they are cheaper than other places (I think), and the ladies are nice but be ready to wait as they tend to overbook and/or accept walk-ins. read more

Forgot to make an appointment but they still took me and we're very kind. I rarely make reviews but I've never had a pedicure where I bled so much.... Did they forget the tools they use are sharp? Idk but it wasn't a pleasant or soothing experience. They also filed over my skin over and over again. When it was finished, she told me to sit at a different chair so I can dry my toes with the fan. I started going to Tammy for gel manicures four months ago and I'm so happy I did! I have really weak nails and cannot usually keep them long because they break easily, but my natural nails have grown long and have stayed nice and healthy since I started seeing her. My nails have never chipped even when I go a month between appointments (I can't keep regular polish on for more than a day before it chips). Tammy takes her time and pays attention to detail - my nails are always beautifully shaped and my cuticles neat. I never feel like she is rushing me out of there to get to the next person. I went to get a dip mani and pedi on Monday and the mani alone took an hour! The mani wasn't even done right and the lady kept struggling because she didn't have the right tools. Then I saw her bring out some cuticle tools and she first tried it on her own cuticle. Uuummmm wtf Now two of my nails have the top layer peeled off, which has never happened before, and the tips of my nails chipping. It's been a week. And she didn't shape my nails. Wow, the service was amazing here! I came for the convenient walk-in service and it wasn't busy at all. This location does have the massage chairs but the ladies use a shallow foot pan lined with a plastic bag to place inside the original foot tub section. That is how I know that this place is sanitary. Mimi was the nail technician who helped me. If you've read my other reviews on other nail salons, you know how gnarly my nails get and how much I neglect them. First off, the water temperature was just right. Normally the water is too hot when I dip my feet in. Mimi asked me 1) what package I wanted and 2) how I would like my nails to be shaped (I usually like them short and squared). The callus treatment is what I look forward to all the time, despite how ticklish it can be. Instead of using the buffing sponge that my nail techs in the past have used, Mimi used a paddle buffer. She did make a comment on how rough and damaged my heels were but I knew what I was getting myself into. I thought the buffer was a lot more gentle on my skin compared to the pumice stone/buffing sponge. I also got a sense of satisfaction as all my dead skin was being collected. Okay, I'll stop grossing you out. Afterwards, Mimi was very precise in using the cuticle scissors to trim and scrape my nails to remove the white residue left behind by the previous polish. It felt pretty relaxing through it all. Before Mimi painted my nails, she even gave me a leg massage. For my nail color, I chose the OPI Mimosas for Him & Her, which is a nude pale pink/cream shade. At the end of my session, Mimi saw my garish, chipped fingernails and asked if I wanted a manicure. I politely declined since my nail polishes never last long enough to see the light of day. She ended up putting acetone on a cotton ball and began cleaning the leftover nail polish off. I thought it was very kind and sweet of her to do so. Normally nail techs will let you be on your way, but not Mimi. A nice woman who was doing the other customer's hair even asked me if I wanted any water. I got to say, the service here was top-notch. There wasn't much selection for nail polishes but maybe they can crack out more in the back? Overall, this is a great, little gem with some hardworking ladies! I would 10/5 recommend this spot. My pedicure package (callus treatment, massage, and hot towel) came out to $23, which is quite the deal. Just a heads up, there is a $1 increase for using a debit/credit card so you're better off just paying cash. There is parking lot in the back that gives you free parking for up to 2 hours; just be sure to read the parking signs since there are some spots that require a permit. read more
