Paul Chang took the time to explain to me what he had to do and to make sure I knew that it was a complicated process. I trusted his expertise and he told me he would have them completed within my timeframe. I picked them up today and they were completed perfectly. The waist fits comfortably and the length was spot on. I was happy with the price he quoted on such short notice, he completed them in three days. Very happy and would take all my tailoring needs to his shop.

After calling around to a few tailors in the area to get approximate prices I checked online to see if there were any reviews of these tailors that I was going to try. I found this tailor shop. I hadn't even called Cedeno's but this was the only tailor with really good reviews. So, without even calling to get a price I took it here to get it taken in. At that point I didn't even care about the price, the reviews on Cedano's were so great that I figured it would be worth it. The seamstress there is FANTASTIC!!!! Insanely low price, quick service and great work! She only charged me $20 to take in the dress! The other quotes I got started at $45 and went to $300. Took 1 tunic blouse to get side slits cut higher up and a front button for a pair of jeans. I paid $20 CASH ONLY, which is too expensive for something so simple. (My grandfather was a tailor and I'm familiar with pricing and good work.) I didn't realize it until a few days later, but he put a regular button on the front closure of my jeans instead of a REAL jean button. Thanks but I could've done that at home FOR FREE!! Not satisfied, I came across Frank's and don't plan on going anywhere else. You can tell that the place is special the moment you step foot in the door and are greeted. Further, Frank and team take the time to talk you through the process. He leverages his experience and gives you recommendations based on your input. Bonus: brief history lesson (~40 years in the same sloop block). Double bonus: flat-fell seam alterations (identical to your original seams). I left feeling like a million bucks ... but only spent $230 on 7 shirts (darts + sides) and 2 pants (taper).

Came in and was told there was nothing they can do. He can do the job again for $160 (more than the previously agreed amount ). The only receipt I was given was a stub that just says $170 and the items that were supposed to be repaired. They need better receipts at the minimum. I got these jackets on sale from Joe Banks a year ago for $199 each, but can't wear them because I've lost weight. These people wanted close to $100 for each jacket! I don't care how good they are that kind of money for a taper and 1/4 inch sleeve (no button moves involved) is ridiculously high. When I asked if they'd consider a volume discount I was met with rudeness. Count me out because the one thing I will NEVER do is spend my hard earned money to be disrespected. I pass.

However, I am highly disappointed in the service rendered. I needed a zipper fix. From what I assumed was a simple fix. The employee, an older guy with a salt and pepper beard, with a non-hospitable tone, decided to tell me that it wasn't and he don't know why I would think that. Thrown off by just meeting him. I stated that I am not a seamstress and this is why I brought it to him, lol! He told me that it would be $25 to fix and to pick it up Thursday of the following week. Although that price seemed a bit steep, I obliged, because again, I am not a seamstress! I left out, receipt in my hand, side-eyeing what I just experienced. I returned that Friday, the day after my pants should have been altered. I was greeted by that same guy. As he was helping other customers, he yelled out to me as I walked in. NO hello, may I help you, give me a second...nothing. "Could you give me 20 more minutes? he called out. I didn't know that he was talking to me, so I pointed to myself and said, "Who me?" He said, "Yes, I didn't know when your pants were due, I didn't write a date on there. You can take your pants and get a refund." Geesh, I thought, what is this guy's problem! I glanced at my watched and noticed I couldn't accommodate his request due to having to pick up my son. So, I told him that I would come back. (I should have just taken my item and left). I returned the next day, rung the bell, and walked in. I was greeted with a strong manly voice from the back of the shop. "Last name." He comes the side-eye again, because what kind of customer service is this? I told him my last name. He walked out, same guy, put my pants on the counter, walked away, without a word. My coats always need to be taken in a significant amount in the waist, which can be challenging. My blazers turned out perfect, with the vents remaining perfect, and the pants, one pair needed significant tapering, also perfect.
