Good prawn scampi... I would've liked a bit more spice
    Stacy S.

I made plans for dinner on the patio to celebrate his birthday, based on online reviews. Due to the weather, we moved our reservation inside. I saw nothing indicating there would be live music the same night... we were given the table right in front - the country music (which he doesn't like) was so loud, we couldn't even talk to each other. The staff was gracious to move us to a cocktail table in the back, so at least we could have a conversation and dinner. (If we were outside, the view would've been okay, but not spectacular as other reviews indicate) Our asparagus appetizer was good, although served without the soft-boiled egg. When we said something about it, there seemed to be some confusion - at first we were told that they were out, and then we were told (by a super rude staffer) that they could bring the egg to us. (Which at this point, we were done with the asparagus, so why would she even say this?!?) Hopefully, going forward, they'll be able to figure out how to boil an egg for 4 minutes and just add it to the appetizer to start with. During this whole ordeal, while we were still eating our appetizer, our entrees arrived... we then found out our waitress was new and didn't know to wait to fire them. They were nice enough to refire them once we were ready, and the chef came out to address his concerns about his steak. What a calamity of events for a birthday dinner Kudos to the chef, and our waitress, Sam, for doing all they could to help make the evening better. I'd go back to grab a burger or do a wine tasting, but NOT for a romantic meal. (The Bistro would be better for that)

I have been here a few times and have had mixed service, thus the 3 rating due to inconsistency. The food has been good, the entertainment has been amazing, and the service has been hit or miss. One time service was so bad that I actually considered walking out after waiting over 30 minutes for a bill. After having gone three times on separate times of the year I would still recommend visiting, but be patient in case service is off for the day. The wines are good and if you have the opportunity to order a bottle and sit back to enjoy the music, I suggest this. The location offers wonderful views as well.

Love the wine and food! This was our last winery spot before heading to dinner and they held us over snack-wise and wine-wise! We ordered the 2020 Riesling and a herb focaccia bread to share. It was a perfect pairing even though they recommended to pair it with a different wine. The Riesling itself was light and tasted okay. The herb focaccia, the bread was thick and soft. Packed with olive oil and garlic. Some things to note, you have the option of sitting rooftop, inside, or outside up front. There is a dinner menu with small eats and entreés. Wine selection from what i remember had red and white wines available. Overall, we will come back again. Loved the view up on the rooftop. Would love to try a different white wine.

Beautiful location and delicious wines and food. My husband and I each did a tasting and came away with a few wines, our favorites bring the Malbec and Mourvedre. We very much enjoyed our lunch as well, with my husband getting the creole pasta (creamy, spicy, satisfying) and I getting the fried chicken (crispy and juicy). We will definitely return next time we're in Chelan.

Emilie and J - amazing Great wine Great food. Ahh the chopped salad Rooftop seating and outdoor tables while you look at the lake. And if you're sitting inside the big doors are open so there's great ventilation. We love this place so much I highly recommend it. The dirty face beer, IPA on draft, tasting menu of wines, and rose were fantastic

Enjoyed a wine tasting and a cup of soup near the fireplace in "the principal's office" at this converted schoolhouse. Soup of the day was a wonderful warming sinter soup with nuts and cilantro.

Every time I drive into Chelan I always say I want to go Sigillo Cellars and we finally went and I'm so happy we did! I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped into their charming tasting room, I felt welcomed and at ease. The service at Sigillo Cellars is truly outstanding. The waiter was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about their wines. I wish I got his name but when we were leaving, he was busy helping others. He took the time to explain specific wines, share interesting stories, and make you feel like a valued guest. Whether you're a seasoned wine enthusiast or a novice, you'll appreciate their warm hospitality. The tasting room itself is in the beautifully restored Lakeside School Building on the south shore of Lake Chelan. You can choose to sit on the shaded deck, enjoy live music on the stage, or take in the stunning lake view from the rooftop deck. It's an idyllic setting for savoring great wine. We had a feast as well and shared several delicious plates between all of us. The Charcuterie Board features an assortment of cured meats, cheeses, seasonal fruits, nuts, and house-made crackers. The rotating house-cured charcuterie adds a unique touch. The Black Garlic Crostini is a must have, same as the Spring Burrata. These two dishes explode in your mouth! The black garlic crostini are served on house focaccia, topped with a flavorful black garlic spread, balsamic grape tomato, basil, and a hint of lemon zest. The Creamy burrata is accompanied by cherry tomato, strawberry, blueberry, balsamic reduction, and chive. A burst of flavors! The Satay Skewers were a group favorite! The skewers feature chicken thigh, red onion, and bell pepper, marinated in Thai curry, coconut milk, fish sauce, garlic, and cilantro. A flavorful treat! We decided to get a healthy choice which was the massaged kale salad. This salad features Lacinato kale, roasted chickpeas, red onion, strawberry, watermelon radish, almond, and Parmesan, all tossed in a delightful strawberry vinaigrette. We also got the Kids Board which was a very good size, and the kiddos loved every bite! Overall, Sigillo Cellars provides a delightful culinary experience with a variety of flavors, perfectly complemented by their wine selection. If you're in Chelan, don't miss out on this gem!

I have visited Sigillo in Snoqualmie and also a few times during my visits to Chelan. Love the tasting room. So many areas at this Chelan location to hang with large or small groups. They also have some delicious bits to eat when you need to offset all the tastings during the day. Friendly staff. A must visit!

Tastings end before the tasting room closes. The upstairs (roof) was closed. Ultimately was disappointed by stopping here around 5p on a Sunday. We weren't looking to set up shop, just taste more than committing to a whole glass of wine and check out the view from the rooftop. Basically the answer was "no" to everything we asked. I would've felt bad just leaving so we didn't and wasted valuable time when we could've been elsewhere actually doing a tasting at other places down the street. Wine was decent though.

Sigillo is in what was once an old school house. The restoration was done really well with plenty of indoor seating and outdoor seating! They have a very large selection of wine so something for everyone. The wine itself isn't made or from Chelan but very good! Their other tasting room is in Snoqualmie just east of Seattle. Love that they are dog friendly too (even for brunch)! We also stopped by for their (new) Sunday brunch, and just wanted to call out how delicious everything was! Our outdoor patio table had a red umbrella so the pictures have a red tint. Smaller portions, so be aware of that. But this was definitely quality over quantity and we highly recommend! Loved the $5 mimosas too!

Stopped in here while visiting Chelan and they were great. Jovanni (sp) was AMAZING! She was so sweet and helpful. We ended up joining their wine club because of her fabulous service. They have an amazing rooftop deck with fire tables and cozy areas, great little nooks to sit and enjoy your wine. The place is just so great and their wines are incredible!

They let us know that they had a fudge pairing with the tasting, which we were really excited about. Our first pour came out and we were shocked. I don't even know how the explain the size of the tasting- maybe 1/3 of an ounce? It's easier to tell in the photos. There wasn't even a stopper on the bottle, that was the amount the tasting room associate chose to give us. She must have known it was small because she came out with our second pour like 30 seconds later. All the pours were this size. The tasting was $16 for four pours and I don't even think we got 1.5oz of wine total. I was also frustrated because we weren't told what wines we were drinking or given a menu. At the very end we were given menus with about 12-15 wines on them and had no idea which 4 we had tried. I think the girl was new, but it was still really weird. I have tasted at many many wineries and found this one to be very very stingy. We do not feel like we learned anything about the wine or the winery and have no idea if we like the wine because we barely got a sip in. We were also the only people there on a Friday, so I have no idea why our service was so limited. I also figured the 16 bottle purchase we were picking up might have waived a tasting or gotten us a bonus pour, but they were pretty stingy with us. I feel like we were polite and eager to learn about the wines and am really confused where the disconnect was. I was surprised to see all the great reviews after our experience, so maybe we just went on an off day or the person was still in training.

The Sauvignon Blanc bottle we shared had the very distinct "cat pee" aroma that I couldn't get out of my nose. I had to choke it down.
