They send totally excellent, personable, helpful, and hard working folks to clean our carpets, and their prices are super reasonable. But the fact that their workers insist on wearing their street shoes in my house is simply unacceptable. I had boot covers to supply, but the worker said that he couldn't use them because of insurance issues, that they are a slipping hazard on wet carpet. We are a shoeless household, and the sight of their utterly DISGUSTING, FILTHY boots tromping around on the carpets they have been sent to clean makes me want to VOMIT. It's hard to feel like the carpets actually end up clean after you see something so completely stomach turning. This is the only reason I took off a point. Otherwise, they are golden. Please Siggy's - get it together. Find a way to respect our shoeless household. It's basic politeness towards your customers, and I have to think there's a way to solve this problem. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE beware! I got a coupon for $105.99 for several rooms (3 and a hallway I think?) I I had a few rugs cleaned equally much less area than what the coupon was for. I had my carpets cleaned, the guy charged me $140, I said it wasn't right with the coupon, he argues his invoice was already set up by the owner and to call her with questions. He no later leaves and I get a call from the owner, SCREAMING at me that I refused to pay her guy. I set her straight on what happened and after the run around, and horrible service, I still paid her. Now, months later I got a letter from her saying I haven't paid her? I'm beyond appalled... I sent her copies of the cancelled checks. I'm writing so others know this is a terrible business and horrible owner, just horrible. read more

Used them before - great job. This time the carpets were left very wet. Typically it takes 4-6 hours +/- for the carpets to dry. Job was completed at 9:45am. At 6:00 pm when we arrived home rugs were still very wet. Couldn't walk on the carpet without getting our socks soaked. The following morning still wet. Called owner who suggested just wait - he would check to see if others who had their rugs clean were left with very wet carpets- no offer to come back and suck the moisture out of them - No follow up call. I then rented a commercial carpet cleaner to suck the moisture out. $40 out of pocket On the 3rd day the carpets were completely dry. We should expect better read more

We had Siggy's come clean our carpet in 4 rooms and a flight of stairs based on Yelp reviews and the recommendation of a family member. Pros: - on time - clean and professional - carpets look cleaner than before Cons: - not the cheapest option, but I was OK with that if the job was done well - couldn't get ahold of them for 3 days before our appointment, didn't return my calls even after leaving 2 messages - lady on the phone told us it would take 1.5-2 hours to do everything, but the guy was gone in just over an hour. The carpets were still soaking wet when he left. I think he was more focused on getting it done quick than getting more of the solution sucked out of the carpet. Took 24 hours to dry to the point that our socks didn't get wet immediately. - carpet is crunchy in places, I assume from not getting rinsed completely. read more

I was perusing other Yelp reviews and stumbled across Siggy's and thought I would offer my 2 cents. These guys are great. As mentioned in other reviews they are family owned, local and uber-responsible and responsive. If you have a pet that has occasional accidents in the home, this company is indispensable. They come out, move whatever has to be moved, put small leg pads under furniture legs and stay focused on the job at hand. Our house is all of 1,300 sq/ft (smallish) but they've never taken more than 30 minutes from start to finish to clean our home. And you can't beat their 3 rooms for $99 deal. They haven't changed that coupon price in at least the last 4 years that we have patronized their services. read more

I was so impressed with Stephan's fantastic thorough cleaning at my Moraga offices, that I set up a cleaning at our home, two weeks later. Stephan was gracious and appreciative. Again, not even an attempt to upsell for pre-spotting, "deep" cleaning, or a quibble about the number of rooms, or their shape or size. I showed him the three room we had to clean, two of which were pretty large, and he did the best most thorough patient steam cleaning ever. He even pushed through a couple of doorways to throw in a bonus entry area, which was so great of him. We suffered serious stains due to a flooded corner of the family room during our recent 100-year rains in February. They were really stubborn and I had tried getting them out with Folex and another bad cleaner (stay away from "Formula 409 Carpet Cleaner!), with no luck. Stephan used his own professional cleaning compound and the stains are gone! Most services would finish the job in 30 minutes and be gone. Siggy's work so steady and hard, for more than an hour, and our carpets were spotless. I'm writing this review almost 1 week later, and that typical gray look that returns after a lesser cleaning job never showed up. Our carpets look almost like new. And as a bonus, Stephan moved our King bed around to do an extra thorough job in the master bedroom. Awesome. After 25 years of using truck-mounted steam cleaning services, Siggy's is far and away the best we've ever used. No sharp marketing.
