I don't mean this to be a rant, but just a plea for us as a people to improve. My friends and colleagues have been witnessing this undercurrent of just bare minimum decency towards people who WANT to work for you. It typically goes like- recruited on LinkedIn/ see a job posting/ word of mouth referral. Looks interesting- applies. Maybe even gets a stellar referral from someone on the inside. Has 1 interview or more, and are specifically told they will "be in touch". Weeks go by, no word. Maybe another week. Should I follow up? I shall. Send a really nice email or leave a solid voicemail. Nothing. Ghosted. Sees the posting removed on Indeed/Linkedin, wherever. I guess they filled it? I wonder where I failed? End scene. It's shocking to me because you, HR Manager or Manager, are members of the community and are people just like us. Now, this post is not to defame you, because you are humans too- and you forget things and tend to avoid conflict. ~But please consider~ People often have to make plans WELL in advance to go to your interview. My point to all this, is please consider the human element. If I, or anyone else, is an unqualified candidate, please let us know. If you are still in the decision process, please let us know that too! Communication goes a long way, and as an HR personnel with extensive training working with people, you would know that, right? Just because something PERHAPS "has always been this way", or you did it yourself for X amount of years, doesn't mean things can't change!! This is such a poor ideology. So I have been dealing with Dave Domin Sr. Customer Service Representative in replacing my Romeo Zero elite with a RomeoX red dot. I returned the Romeo Zero elite on 12/29/23 and as of 01/12/24 all I have to show for all this is pathetic excuses on why I dont have the new red dot as promised, I did ask for a refund and I finally heard back it will take 10-14 days, and that was it, no apologies no explanations, nothing, *** pathetic. I've tried to post this twice in the Sig website, but for some reason they won't approve it... Don't buy the Romeo 1 pro for the Sig p320 M17 military issued pistol. For some reason Sig designed the rear sight plate differently on the military M17, and when you remove it to install the Romeo1pro it leaves a big open hole. Customer service even responded with, "I spoke to my supervisor, and he said that hole is completely normal. That is the screw holes for the rear sight optics plate when it is installed. Sig Sauer does not have a cover or plate currently for it, but it is not going to interfere with the function or operation of the pistol." You tell me if this looks normal. read more

Sigs look good. And they feel good in the hand to me. That's all subjective. But the main objective issues I've had with the Sigs I've owned: Quality is terrible. Extractors fall out at critical times, parts failures occur when you NEED the gun to function. Sig Sauer does not make reliable pistols. I've had to switch to Glock. They're plain and plastic, but damn, they just work without issue. Sigs, on the other hand, will cost you your life if you're using them for self-defense. If they're just for plinking on the range, they'll just really annoy you due to all the failures they have. read more

Its very uncommon for me to leave a bad review. I have 4 Sigs (paid a premium for Legion models). I like them but am at a loss on the lack of customer service. Going back to my Glocks and S&Ws. Do yourself a favor and stay away unless you don't plan on ever needing to have customer support. Five separate support calls, each call well over 1 hour of hold time alone and zero issues resolved. Their ammo is junk ! This post doesn't even warrant 1 star but had no choice. 1 out of every 3 or 4 fail to chamber after spending many hours checking and looking I found ammo to be the problem. The bullet set was inconsistent. Put a micrometer on a new box and found 20 out of 50 significantly shorter. I then called customer service. What a joke ! I was told they would send out a call tag to send the 20 in and they would ck and if were an issue they would replace the 20 ‍ I've decided to throw them away and move on my worth my time. I have 4 sig guns. All for sale now. Sig does not back up their guns anymore. I have a split bolt retaining pin. Sent the pistol to sig. turns out it has a cracked frame as well. I researched and found this to be a big problem with older sigs. They would not fix my gun and said the could not fix it. It has not been modified. So I had already had an issue trying to get my P320 returned after a trigger upgrade. It was sent back once because they used a bad address. You would think they would check their records since it had ben returned to them. Just found out that they sent it back to the same invalid address. I would give negative stars if this let me! Sig dose not care about the American consumer only state and federal government contracts!! They no Long produce weapons of reliability! They have no testing or quality control! Now days if you buy a sig just wait you will have to send it back to be modified! Sig can't even produce the product they say they made!!! MPX has no caliber exchange kits they already are working on 3.0 version!! MCX is another fuck up! So bad they have changed it a few times and even made a shitty hybrid version with a $20.00 lower receiver and a few parts to make it look like a real MCX when you google hybrid you can't find anything on Sigs website! You get a gun your happy to get but pissed cause it's not what you wanted!! Next the P320 or is it 250 I don't know parts kits and everything are marked the same! One postal was supposed to be 5 calibers not I don't know what you can do with it! It's junk you can't shoot steel cases ammo even from federal or Winchester! Glock will shoot anything you put in it! Sig has marketed a gun owners dream one platform different options! barrel size, caliber conversion, accessories, but again this was a marketing scam cause it's been years with the release of these different platforms and junk for them! Along with spend a lot of money for something you have to turn around and send back for modification! Don't know what happened but they have no value anymore and it's only days till they loose the military contract they won!!! Ordered an upgrade kit for the P320. I own nearly a dozen Sig firearms and the P320 was my favorite until I had to deal with Sig customer service. You have to be home to sign for the product with Fedex. The product showed up early (on a Sunday) and I wasn't there to sign for it. I rearranged my day Monday so I could be home to receive it and waited around until 6:30pm. I figured they weren't going to show, left my house and they showed up 7:30pm. Final attempt and FedEx customer service told me I could pick it up within 10 days at my local hub (30 minutes away). I drove down there and FedEx told me that it was sent back to Sig. Customer service said "we can ship it back out when we receive it." I told them I could not spend any more time waiting and rearranging my schedule to be home. Every suggestion I gave such as "can you send it to a FedEx location for me to sign" was shot down. Then I asked, "can you send it for morning delivery so I have it by 10:30 am so I'm not taking vacation days to wait and sign for this." Her answer, "that would require me to cancel the order and re-enter it." I told her to just refund me. Customer service does not match the brand and I have major buyer's remorse for purchasing a P320 FCU. Most expensive paperweight I own now and I think I'll put my future purchases toward supporting another firearms manufacturer read more

Long story short. Ordered 12-rd P365 mag/stickers on Nov 24th. Order lost... Reordered Dec 30th. Also send them an e-mail & waited 4 days without any type of response. Then on Jan 09th, I called Sig & spoke with Paul with a bad attitude. Oh, found out order is now indefinitely back ordered. Result: due to bad attitude Paul...order cancelled & will NO LONGER be purchasing ANYTHING from their website. AND in my humble opinion neither should anyone else. I purchased A Sig Sauer P365 SAS. Due to various circumstances, the gun was submerged in water for about 40 minutes. Water filled the fiberoptic sight and rendered it inoperable for days. When it dried out; I found the tritium night sight would no longer glow. I honestly do not know if it had anything to do with the submersion in water. I contacted Sig Sauer, and they provided me with shipping back to their repair center. I was told it would take two weeks to turn it around. The day after they received it (the slide only), it was on the way back to me. They replaced the sight for no charge, and the whole ordeal took one week. Good job Sig. read more

I bought a Sig P229 couple years ago and right off the bat, I was getting FTE's. It would happen every 50-100 rounds or so, I didn't think it was a big deal. I would always clean my firearm before and after every session. Just recently it's been getting worse, almost every other magazine I would get an FTE, pretty annoying. What if I had to use it and it totally fails? Do I just throw the gun at them and run? I finally broke down and called Sig, they had me ship it to New Hampshire from California and all I had to do was pay for the shipping costs, about $55, the gun was still under warranty. They replaced the slide, went through 60 rounds of 124 & 147 grain FMJ's, problem solved, so they say. Once I take it out for a session, I will be back to either give them 5 stars or drop it down and sell this thing, I'm looking for something more reliable like a Glock 19. I have always been under the assumption that Sig was top notch. Pretty much over the top with both firearms and customer service. That pretty much came crashing down to a FAST halt after a recent experience which has pretty much left me saying that I would never purchase another one of their pistols. Ever. Here's the story. I purchased a new C3 1911 in March 2020. I was so thrilled to get it because it was a new model and two people that I work with pretty much swore by this gun. After a couple of months I started to have some problems with it and we Sig needed to replace the guide rod and a couple of other things within the gun. They had my pistol from approx June 2020 until approximately October 2020. I turned the gun in to RT smoke 'n shop as they are my go/to shop for gunsmithing. They were the ones to send it out for me. I couldn't understand why it was taking so long so I had Anthony call and he said that they were very backed up due to the pandemic. To make a long story short now I'm checking my records now I got the gun back closer to Christmas December 2020. Recently I started having more problems with the firearm. Keep in mind that it was out of my possession for about five months. The gun had not been acting right and I was at the range a couple of weeks ago and I went from a shooting stance to a high ready. As I went to a low ready and keep in mind that I am highly proficient in all 1911s, the gun went off by itself and I have numerous witnesses who saw this happened and they just couldn't believe it. I wasn't about to take any chances so I brought the gun back upstairs to the gun store and told him what happened and he said he was going to send it back to Sig. He and Jonathan spoke to them on the phone and they said that the gun was no longer under warrantee. They looked over the firearm and said that someone or myself changed the trigger mechanism on the firearm and I was so disheartened to hear this because no one has access to my guns and I know nothing about changing the trigger. They said that the trigger was in a very "dangerous state" and that someone had to touch it. They said in order for them to fix the gun they would need $85 to redo the whole gun and get the trigger back to "factory standards". I am not an idiot and I've told them 1000 times that no one touched this gun. I don't care what they say but I believe that while it was there in their possession during the pandemic someone did something to the gun while they were fixing it and I'm sorry that I have to say this even if it's not true. I just know that I did nothing to this 1911. Then they also made a comment and said that I probably had about 5000 rounds through it which is incorrect because I couldn't get any ammo during that time so that was an incorrect statement. They still were insistent probably because I'm a woman I guess I can't think of any other reason but they were insisting that I did something to this gun. I sure know how to shoot them and boy am I very well-versed in them but I'm not smart enough to change a trigger. So to make a long story short after fighting with them I went ahead and told Anthony at the gun store to tell them to fix the gun and to send it back to me. However when it does get back I will sell it because I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and also with the overall disgusting attitude that they had. I will never purchase another one of their guns again. As soon as it comes back it's getting turned in for something else. Nobody should judge someone else nor should they have the audacity to say comments that were just so, in my opinion... disgusting. They even told the gun store that they were questioning as to why I put so many rounds through the gun...well for Christ sake it's a gun that I really really loved more than any of my other guns and it was my carry gun. I carried this gun with me most of the time and I had to use my Glock 32 when it was being fixed during the pandemic. Horrible service horrible attitude. And in my opinion they don't give a rats ass about the customer. A reputable gun store would have replaced the gun with a new one. It is what it is. But I will never recommend them to anyone. read more

Sig makes a quality firearm- but like any brand of firearm, under hard duty use things are bound to break. a $5000.00 Wilson Combat will break too- dont let anyone tell you otherwise. what really makes a firearm manufacturer is the service they provide. i have been running a Sig 1911 for the past 2 years, with much enjoyment- it might just be the best series 80 1911 trigger out of the box that i have ever seen. but, in september 2011, during training, i broke my front sight. now, today- it still has not been fixed. Sig's excuse is that the replacement part that i need is well in stock, in excess of 300 pieces on the shelf- but they wont send one out, due to an upcoming run of 1911's being produced. this is a lousy way to treat a customer that puts a Sig product on his hip every day, and has for the past decade- P220's, P-226's, a P-239, and then finally no less than 3 Sig 1911's. 4 phone calls since september, and its still not resolved. i went out and resolved it myself, and purchased a brand new Springfield Armory Operator. no, im not saying its any better of a weapon- i think they are about on par. the defining difference is that Springfield Armory takes care of its customers. no questions asked, with new parts in the mail on the same day. the Springfield is considerably more expensive. yes, the Sig was a less expensive weapon, but again- you get what you pay for... this includes the level of customer service that you get after you buy the gun. Sig could learn something from this, but odds are they wont. if Sig isnt thrilled to read this honest opinion, well... tough cookies. Im not thrilled that my $1400.00 1911 with a "lifetime warranty" is sitting in my safe, unable to be put into service for duty, for the second month in a row now! read more

Have a Sig P220. While firing the weapon the magazine release button popped out of the gun because the frame next to the button cracked. Upon speaking to the service representative at Sig I was told that because the weapon was used they would not honor the warranty. However, he said send it in for eval with 55$ but probably won't take care of issue. He even offered me the option of destroying the weapon for me. I once had respect for this company in that they would stand by their product. That is no longer the case. read more

They said the frame was broken, and they no longer make that Model circa 1980. They offered him a new gun for Dealers Cost...Really...Really, NOT EVEN THEIR COST. That is not a LIFETIME WARRANTY!! He and I own quite a few weapons, started buying them in the 1960's. They have lost both of us and anyone else we can influence. read more

Sig Sauer Academy is amazing. The instructors here are top notch, the range is great, and the pro shop (although it is being renovated now) is stock full of sig goodies. If you're lucky they have some used mags on hand that you can score for short money. The classes are well worth the cost, which is reasonable for the training you'll be receiving. I recommend their low light training, among others. As far as Sig products...well, 5 stars as well, but I'll let the others discuss the strengths of the Sig's firearm product line. read more

Ordered a Sig Sauer M17 Proforce Airsoft Pistol (Green Gas) from a third-party seller for firearms training (I live in NY, so this is the best bet for backyard firearms training I'll be able to get). This Sig was also bundled with a Sig Air red dot sight. When it arrived, I immediately was having issues. The rear sight screws were adhesively sealed in place, and led to me stripping them in an attempt of removal. Then, the weak plastic mag lip eventually ended up snapping off one of the mags. This led me me to call customer support. Now that the bad things are over, here's why my rating for Sig is five stars: I called Sig support to see what could be done for this. After following the prompts from the automated messages, I was instantly connected to a representative. I explained the problems, and they stated that I could send it to them, and they'll take care of all the problems for free. Sig sent me a pre-paid shipping label for Fedex, and I shipped it out the day of (3/8/21). It arrived at their facility in NH in one day. Then, four days later (3/12/21), I receive a notification: the product was finished with repairs, and was shipping back! And here I was thinking it was gonna take weeks to repair and ship back. I then received the product just yesterday (3/15/21), and opened it to find an attached red dot sight with new rear sight screws, and three mags. Unfortunately, the one mag with the broken lip was replaced; but with a CO2 mag. I needed a GG mag. I called them up today (3/16/21), and, again, after following the prompts from the automated messages, I was instantly connected to a representative. I thanked them for the fast action with my previous issue, but informed them of the new issue. The representative explained that it wouldn't be a problem, and not only did he put in for a brand new free green gas mag to be delivered to my house, but even let me keep the CO2 mag. And the new mag shipped the day of as well!!! I am greatly satisfied with Sig's support team and products, and will definitely be purchasing from them in the future. read more

They have changed their shipping policies with Fed Ex to not allow pickup and may not notify you if when your products ship so you won't be home, you'll miss your package, it will go back to the manufacturer and you'll eventually get a refund instead of what you ordered. Customer service will make BS excuses, dodge blame, and do nothing to remedy the situation. They know this is a consistent problem and do not care. I strongly recommend avoiding this company in favor of other sellers. read more

Other than a length wait on hold, each question was resolved efficiently and to my satisfaction. Products requiring exchange were followed with an RMA # and free shipping. I am beginning to be confused about the reputation of Sig Sauer Arms. Here is why: 1) Purchased a SIG P320 Tacops, had to send it in for the voluntary upgrade. Yes I know it was voluntary, but if you ever want to change and user a caliber X-change kit (if Sig ever makes them available) You must send it in to Sig for the Upgrade. That process took 5 weeks. 2) Another Sig P320 that I have, would not function with a Sig SRD45 suppressor. So Sig said I had to send it in for repairs, with the suppressor. They have it now, 2 weeks so far... with again no help from (customer service as they call it) as to how long this will be there. 3) Sig MPX Gen II, of course came with no iron sights. foir some reason they decided to stop including them? So I ordered them from Sig, in OCTOBER 2017! Still to this date no sights. I called customer service up 4 weeks ago to inquire about them, they said they had inventory and they would be shipping the week of August 23. Guess what, no sights! I called today, again (customer service as they call it) was unable to provide any information on when they may have stock and when they would be shipped. So (customer service as they call it) said that Sig will always stand behind its products on repairs. I said I wouldn't know about other manufacturers and their policies because I have never HAD to send in firearms for repair! Absolutely pitiful! I can only imagine that this company takes better care of military and police department customers than they do consumers? Wow, pitiful company! read more

Do not buy anything electronic from Sig. I bought a Sig KILO2000 range finder on 09/01/2016. The box stated it has a 5 year limited warranty on the electronics. Well it stopped working last month. I sent Sig an email asking about the process to get my item repaired under warranty and gave them the serial number on the unit. The end result was me being told that the serial number shows the range finder was manufactured in 2014 and the warranty starts on the manufacture date, not the date of purchase. The box did not state that where it advertises the warranty. So my range finder was already two years in to a five year warranty when it was purchased and I didn't even know it. There's no manufacture date on the box so even if the consumer did know about the warranty starting when the unit is manufactured. they would have no way of knowing how far in to the warranty the unit is. I just lost $519 because I trusted what was written on the box. The owners manual does state the warranty is from the date of manufacture but you find that out after you purchase it and try to get Sig to honor a warranty. Its a shame they don't really seem interested in standing behind their product. read more

I had a pistol that needed a overhaul. The service representative was great to work with. They replaced the springs, roll pins and provided a good cleaning of the pistol. The pistol has almost 5,000 rounds and has been flawless. It was the sig service plan. The thing is that you have to pay for the shipping and that is not reflected in their pricing. They had some very nice weapons on display, but the salesman seemed to not be interested in really helping me out. Or at all passionate about what he was selling. Terrible service, prices and shipping. Still waiting for a delivery, it shipped five days ago, delivery has been pushed back for another week. Ordered the same product from CDNN. It was $23.00 cheaper, shipped the same day and was delivered 2 days later. CDNN charged $3.99 for shipping and Sig charged $9.99 and it is still 2 states away according to FedEx tracking.
