Has 1 interview or more, and are specifically told they will "be in touch". Weeks go by, no word. Maybe another week. Should I follow up? I shall. Send a really nice email or leave a solid voicemail. Nothing. Ghosted. Sees the posting removed on Indeed/Linkedin, wherever. I guess they filled it? I wonder where I failed? End scene. It's shocking to me because you, HR Manager or Manager, are members of the community and are people just like us. Now, this post is not to defame you, because you are humans too- and you forget things and tend to avoid conflict. ~But please consider~ People often have to make plans WELL in advance to go to your interview. My point to all this, is please consider the human element. If I, or anyone else, is an unqualified candidate, please let us know. If you are still in the decision process, please let us know that too! Communication goes a long way, and as an HR personnel with extensive training working with people, you would know that, right?
