Very cool display of the ammos

What a beautiful building. I had been looking around and found I wanted a SIG and found they gave a flagship store in NH. Let the excitement roll in! This place is just down the street from the dragway and it'll be on the left side of the road. Even the exterior of the building was beautiful to look at and even better inside. The facility is very new at a young 9 months with high ceilings and beautiful lighting and just an amazing setup. There's a huge selection hung along the walls and display cases. The associates are very helpful and friendly. There's apparel as well and they also carry their own air line. They also have a small Cafe inside more the center back of the building just before you get to the range check in. The range is clean and they are all very professional and happy to help you with anything. I got to test out what I was considering getting and also a very cool AR with a silencer attachment. It was definitely a fun day and we're definitely going back again soon.

Knowledgeable staff. The museum, classes, it is the flagship store. What more can I say?

I was looking up the location because they were talking about getting together soon. I would rather shoot my bow that shoot my pistol. I'm not comfortable with having the pistol range "Down Range' of the rifle range. There is so much land there. Why don't they have just a rifle range and just a pistol range. Why combine the two? I am sure the club has rules, but so much can go wrong with the way those ranges are setup. Otherwise, I didn't go into the club house so I can't speak of it. I did like that water along the side and one thing I will do with my buddies is to do some fishing there.

A hidden entrance, a long dirt road, a log cabin-style building, and some cleared ground. They have both an archery/trap range and a rifle/handgun range, but it's all self-directed, which I'm not really used to. We came with friends who are members and knew to bring their own everything. I've never been to a range before that doesn't have eye and ear protection available to rent or buy, so make sure you're prepared before you come. I had a few major safety concerns, which didn't end up being a problem because we were alone. But considering some of the people that show up to other ranges, I'm surprised I haven't heard about any injuries here. When you walk toward the rifle ranges, you are actually downrange. There is a paper sign warning you to look out for people shooting at you. This is terrifying. The path should definitely be widened so you're not in the direct line of a stranger's fire. *EDIT: I heard they're actually working on this. The rifle ranges are a set distance, with lines suspended for pinning targets. There is no pulley system, so to check your accuracy you actually have to walk downrange. If there is someone else shooting near you, you have to interrupt their session or wait. Pulley systems aren't expensive, and they would allow some flexibility in the length of the bay as well. Overall, it's a fun place to shoot because it's informal, but with nobody watching you it's easy to skip safety steps. I'll probably still join, but I hope everyone remembers that they are holding something that can easily injure and/or kill the people around them.

It typically goes like- recruited on LinkedIn/ see a job posting/ word of mouth referral. Looks interesting- applies. Maybe even gets a stellar referral from someone on the inside. Nothing. Ghosted. Sees the posting removed on Indeed/Linkedin, wherever. I guess they filled it? I wonder where I failed? End scene. It's shocking to me because you, HR Manager or Manager, are members of the community and are people just like us. Now, this post is not to defame you, because you are humans too- and you forget things and tend to avoid conflict. ~But please consider~ People often have to make plans WELL in advance to go to your interview. My point to all this, is please consider the human element. If I, or anyone else, is an unqualified candidate, please let us know. If you are still in the decision process, please let us know that too! Communication goes a long way, and as an HR personnel with extensive training working with people, you would know that, right? Just because something PERHAPS "has always been this way", or you did it yourself for X amount of years, doesn't mean things can't change!! This is such a poor ideology. The only way things GET better is when we EXPECT better. Your rudeness, thoughtlessness and dismissive attitude has made us NOT want to work for your company.

I visit mainly for my own range time and to shop in the ProShop, and the experience has always been consistently positive. As a firearms instructor, I often have students asking where they should go after completing their basic training. WBA is one of the first places I mention. I do not receive anything for sending people here. I recommend it because it has been solid every single time I've walked through the door. The retail side is one of the strongest parts of this business. The ProShop is spacious, clean, and well organized with a good flow into the ammunition room. There is always plenty to look at -- firearms, holsters, parts, accessories, and gear. The staff are approachable and willing to answer questions without hovering or trying to push a sale. Ammunition is usually well stocked, including bulk options that many shooters appreciate. White Birch also has a full lineup of training classes taught by their own instructors. While I have not taken their classes personally, it is helpful to know they offer structured training for people who want to continue building skills. The range itself is run very well. It is clean, climate-controlled, and maintained regularly. As an NRA Certified Chief Range Safety Officer with many years of experience on different ranges, I notice the details that matter: attentive and professional RSOs, orderly lanes, backers replaced when needed, and a check-in process that moves quickly. It creates a safe and comfortable environment for both new and experienced shooters. Something worth mentioning is the feedback I hear from my own students. Over the years, plenty of them have reached out after visiting White Birch to tell me how much they liked it, whether they were renting a firearm for the first time, buying gear, or just getting some practice in. Hearing that repeatedly says a lot about the consistency of the experience here. Whether you want to try out a firearm before making a purchase, pick up equipment, or spend time on a clean indoor range, White Birch Armory is a great place to go. They've earned their reputation by running things professionally and treating people well.

It's a much larger range than I'm used to, which could get really dangerous, but they have a system of lights and intercoms that seems to keep everyone safe. We just shot at the far end-- intended for short-distance pistol firing. The targets are unlike those I've ever seen... you actually have to pick up a 10ft plank of wood and drag it on to the range to your desired distance. I was really glad I had two men with me to help out... I would probably still be there trying to get them to fit into the little wooden slots. There is an indoor range too, which is a nice touch, but I didn't manage to get in there. Note on bathrooms... use the ones you have at home. Outhouse doesn't even begin to describe them.
