Three friends and I…read morespent approximately ten hours here one Sunday taking the NRA safety certification course required by MA for gun licensing, and somehow the instructors made it (and by "it" I don't mean just the hands-on shooting range stuff, because of course that part of it isn't dull) something other than dull. Also, when you arrive they cook you a great breakfast complete with coffee that will get you through the morning. For anyone interested in getting any sort of gun license, or in learning more about gun handling, safety, or recreational shooting, Andover Sportsmen Club is the way to go. Do make sure you don't need to refill your car with gas on your way out of North Andover late on a Sunday evening, however, or else you might find yourself at the mercy of your misguided GPS driving through a residential neighborhood, and then rescued by a British couple (bless their hearts) who drive in front of you to guide you back to civilization and, lo and behold, a gas station that, unlike many of the others you've driven by, happens to be open.

There is also a great skeet range as well. oh and i almost forgot about the 24 hour indoor range for all members. there is also an archery range and a 3d archery course that goes into the woods. great staff and the property is very well kept. if your are looking for a club to join and enjoy, i highly recommend Andover Sportsmen Club.

The lanes are shorter than typical axe throwing places, it was only about ~10ft maybe. If you check in, you get free popcorn! This is a great date place, definitely check it out!

We celebrated my boyfriends 30th birthday by booking a private event and a party table. I called a…read moreweek prior to ask some questions and was able to talk to the GM who was amazing at breaking down all the information I would need (how to order food, how the party table works, when we should be there ETC). The day off, we had Jen as our Ref and game master who trained us and ran our private game. We had a BLAST with her. The team played music that really amped us up, and I really loved that it wasn't JUST archery tag. She ran us through a bunch of different game styles and it kept it very fresh and fun. At the end we were able to have our pizza, a cake I brought in and some drinks. It was overall a really great time! Jen and the team really made our experience really fun. She was clear with the instructions, rules and really highlighted our achievements! My advice to anyone coming in, call ahead if you have any questions because the team is happy to answer your questions. This is also ONE heck of a workout, so just be dressed and ready to run! Was not very busy and they seemed to sanitize well and social distance. The targets, which were 20 yards out, were fairly easy to shoot. I will definitely be going back. It was plenty of fun.

Best shop I've had the pleasure to work with!!!…read more I've been out of the archery scene for awhile due to life changes, injury, etc. Decided I wanted to dip back into things and needed the bow tuned along with some new arrows etc. I'm a target archer...not a hunter....and decidedly out of practice. It's a touch embarrissing to walk into a busy shop with so many capable archers and be so shaky at full draw. (My fundamentals are okay but I need some conditioning.) The new owner Jon (and, it must be said, his supporting staff) have simply been fantastic!!! Zero judgement!! Didn't make me feel small for not arriving with a camo painted 80lb hunting bow that I could hold at full draw for 10 minutes LOL (despite it being the start of hunting season when they're undoubtedly buried with work from that market segment.) His staff was welcoming & friendly to a person and he himself took a direct interest in my target gear, my target focused setup, and he spent more time than I should have expected talking setup, next steps, making recommendations, offering choices, and discussing with genuine interest, my goals and objectives on the indoor range. I'm a fan! If you are into archery, have thought about it, or just need something for your setup....these guys (and ladies) are the real deal matter what your focus might be! New Ownership within last 2 years…read more I could not be happier with my crossbow and the service I received going in to East Coast Archery. Jon sat me down and showed me the options and compared the different models showing me the differences, pros and cons. They have a huge selection of crossbows and compound bows. He had me shoot the final 3 crossbows I was trying to decide on. He again sat with me to make sure I understood how to properly use it and then we the used a Chronograph and dialed in the cross bow. Prices are excellent and service is second to none. If you're looking for a great shop East Coast Archery is the place for you.
