We are clearing out things from our house that sadly cannot be recycled or donated so we decided to try out the dump service today. As you pull into this location on Commercial Row, on one side of the street there is a place for people to drop off recyclables and metals, and on the other side of the street you can pull in to dump all the other non-hazardous stuff. It was an easy process. We pulled in kind of like a drive through where someone from a little hut came out to greet us. She was kind and informative! I presented my ID as the account holder and a copy of our most recent bill. She went inside the hut presumably to note our visit on our account. She also advised that we have three more opportunities available this calendar year and then we will have four opportunities starting again in January. We only waited in our vehicle a few moments when another worker waved at us to drive in the building. We were instructed to back in next to a row of other vehicles with people doing the same thing we were (only they were lucky to have pickup trucks and could bring more while we just had our Honda Pilot). Everyone was literally dumping their trash into a large pit! We were done in no time and will try to make use of our other opportunities before the year is out.

They carry lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, cabinets, and lots of doors and windows! The selection does vary, so you might not always find what you need. But this business does an amazing job at refurbishing and salvaging what they can from old houses. Majority of the items they sell have been salvaged from older homes.
