They charged me nothing for conducting this work, and gave me a clear honest answer when others looked for ways to upsell. I had worked with Alejandro on another stucco project and his proposal was very thorough. It was clear he was using high quality materials and doing this right instead of taking short cuts. It's rare to find high quality, competitively priced, and honest stucco guys like these. I'll be singing their praises wherever I can

After rescheduling the appointment on me, they came out, reviewed the project again, and made no mention of any pricing changes during our meeting. Shortly afterward, I received an email stating that the original quoted price would only be honored if payments were made by cash or personal check and the project was completed without using their contractor's license. I was under the impression that I was dealing with a licensed contractor and that their quotes reflected work performed under that license. Apparently, that wasn't the case. The lack of transparency regarding pricing and licensing requirements was extremely disappointing. This should have been communicated upfront rather than after multiple discussions and site visits. Overall, a waste of time and a very unprofessional experience.

I am an architect and had the pleasure of working with Matan and his team on a project in…read moreLafayette, CA. The project was a renovation of a ranch home for a young family. The primary project goal was to customize the home interiors to work better for the family living arrangement and bring more daylight into the home. The budget was fairly tight but there were lofty design and detailing goals. It was difficult to find a contractor that was interested in a project of this scale, who could deliver the level of finish expectations, and meet the clients' budget and schedule goals. We were introduced to Matan, who ended up being the perfect match for the project. Matan was thorough and transparent with his estimates in the initial budgeting stage. He carefully reviewed drawings and asked questions to make sure the design vision was being executed to a high level. He was very communicative about progress and construction issues, to ensure the project went as smoothly as possible. When unforeseen conditions were discovered, he addressed them quickly and fairly. The family moved out of the house during construction, but with young kids, they were eager to get back in as quickly as possible. Matan prepared an initial schedule and attentively managed the project to stay on track and get the family back home on time. In the end, the project was a huge success thanks to Matan and his team.

The sidewalk came out perfectly straight, clean, and solid. You can immediately see the quality and attention to detail in the finish. Leo was the project manager and he did an excellent job from start to finish. He was professional, responsive, and kept everything on schedule. He made sure the crew delivered top quality work and kept me informed throughout the whole process. If you're looking for reliable concrete work or any remodeling project, I highly recommend them. He checked in regularly, answered our (many) questions, and made sure things kept moving. We never felt left in the dark about what was happening next. The crew was respectful of our home and tried to keep things as clean as possible considering the amount of work being done. The bathrooms came out beautiful especially the tile work and the kitchen feels like a completely different space now. There were a few small adjustments along the way (as expected with any remodel), but they handled them quickly and professionally. Overall we're very happy with the outcome and would use them again.

I ultimately went with Ron because he explained the whole siding process well, he used only high quality materials, and was very reasonable with his quote and estimate. He provided a perfect color match and was able to give us the color samples for HOA approval and helped us with the building permit. Ron and his team are detail-oriented and thorough, even looking at weather forecasts to ensure they're cleared to start the siding work and Ron was very communicative throughout the project. They even helped my parents replace the dry rotted framing around our door/garage and helped us replace their utility doors because they had water damage and dry rot. Leo was the one leading the project on site and him and his team were very friendly, professional, and tidy. The house looks amazing and they are very happy with the outcome. Thank you again!

Don't let the lack of yelp reviews fool you!…read more We needed siding done on our house. I used the yelp project messenger and blasted everyone who did siding in the bay. I talked and got quotes from 7 different businesses. I then, highly researched each company ( from yelp to google review, Angie's list, home improvement FB groups, you name it, I checked it! ) I told them I would get back to them in a week to see who I felt comfortable with. Out of the 7 only 4 followed up. Out of the 4, 3 came in about the same between 60-70k and 1 came in around 50k. Attico was one of the 3. So why did I choose Ron? He was on time and informative, he answered all our questions. He came prepared with siding samples, and was able to measure and give us a general quote within 24 hours. He helped us with getting a permit and helped us touch up paint on the doors as well. We also felt comfortable that we didn't have to pay up front. We had to do a deposit (10%) for him to order everything. It took about 4 or 5 weeks to get the siding in. The process was fast! Once the permit was issued his team was here the following day! The guys were great! Very polite, hardworking and quick! They started on a Wednesday took a weekend off and came back and ended on a Wednesday. After every day they cleaned up throughly, which was great since we have a toddler who loves her back yard. I could not recommend the crew enough! Leo who was in charge was great! many of the guys don't speak English and I don't speak Russian well, and I'm not sure if he could tell me and my partner apart ‍ so there was some miscommunication but Ron was able to settle it easily and quickly! (And I didn't feel frustrated or stressed about it) They also replaced all the vents ! The crew did end up cracking a window. They told us right away and ordered it asap (custom sized) they replaced it within a few days of finishing the job! Of course with no cost to us. I can not recommend Ron and his team at Attico siding enough! I trust that Ron stands by his word and the siding!

We had existing design plans, and before we started the project, we interviewed several contractors and decided on HQR because their portfolio of past work and talks with Ronnie. We also chose HQR because we felt the pricing was fair and transparent, especially for this area (Danville/Blackhawk). Ronnie made sure we stayed on budget and estimated 12 weeks for the project, and if it had not for a delay with our windows we would have finished within that time frame. Once we started, Ronnie's crew was here every day and was always very friendly, hard working and thorough. Staying on track and having someone work on the project every day is valuable and not something one should take for granted when working with a general contractor. Maybe it was because we had an outside designer, but I had totally underestimated the amount of time that I needed to spend myself overseeing the project. There were some hiccups along the way, and some specific installations that required me to hire some sub-contractors myself. I can say though that whenever there was an issue, Ronnie did make sure that things were fixed right away to our satisfaction. Ultimately, we got our dream kitchen for the expected price within the promised time frame, and I am thankful for HQR and Ronnie for that.
