With my first Weimaraner, I did both private training and board-and-train, so I definitely had something to compare this experience to. The results with Stand Proud have been incredible. THE TRAINING STICKS!!…read more One year ago I dropped Vision off for his Board and Train. Today, I took him out on a hike off-leash and he did amazing! By the end, he was WILLINGLY in heel and walking by my side. He continued to listen to commands throughout the hike, and this just goes to show that sticking with Bailey's plan and continuing the training works! Since Vision's Board and Train, I've utilized Bailey's boarding for various trips. Vision is excited every time he's dropped off and I know that I can trust Bailey and her team. first went to PJs 13 years ago with my first goldendoodle. We started in the puppy social classes…read morewhen he was 9 weeks old as he had his first set of shots. We went onto do 3 levels of classes with him. Classes were hands down the best investment we made for him, and he went on to live a wonderful fear-free life. I attribute his high quality of life to his basic training classes and the time we put in when he was a puppy. He learned from a very young age how to settle and be calm in lots of different situations. He learned to trust our directions which kept him safe. Puppy social is in my opinion one of the best classes to put a young puppy in. They get to meet other dogs and people in a safe environment, and the puppies teach each other soft bite and learn how to be social. We recently brought a new puppy into our lives. I love the structure of Pjs classes where your puppy is with the same dogs for the 6-week duration. The happy little puppies can all see each other during the class at Pjs, no barriers (unless required to reduce stress of the pet). I like the scaffolding approach that PJs classes offer. You build the dogs' confidence and skills up in a logical way for them to learn. Plus, the puppies are all watching each other learn the same things. It's adorable. Our new puppy has done several levels of classes at Pjs' beautiful new facility in Sparks and HE LOVES IT. He just completed his AKC Canine Good Citizen, we can now consider therapy work down the road with him. He is so excited to get in the door for any play group I take him to and to his classes. We absolutely loved Rally O with Susie, she is amazing. We have referred Susie to friends with some rescues for consultations and they have been super happy. We will complete all the classes PJ dog training offers, because our dog just loves to learn, he really likes to use his brain. He exudes happiness when we get to class. Thank you, PJ and Susie, for helping us raise a happy confident dog yet again and offering such great classes. Highly recommend Pjs, they have so much experience and are CCPTD certified. They also give you time at the beginning of any class for a quick discussion on any "challenge areas". You learn so much to help you understand your dog's behavior. All classes use positive reinforcement. You learn to build a trusting relationship with your furry family members from a place of respect and love. The facility is always so clean, and they take excellent care in making sure your puppies are safe and not exposed to any bugs. We have never had any problems. 10 stars from us!!

4/16/2024- I can't…read morebelieve it's been three years since our last visit.. Initially, I was looking to have a back up boarding.. for the furry ones.. I made reservations to have them re-evaluated.. a few weeks back.. Dropped them off this morning and they stayed until 3:30.. Staff was friendly and Cece was also there to greet them.. Received a call mid -morning and they passed with flying colors.. There are many advantages of bringing the dogs here and will fit our needs more.. Thank yo so much for remembering us and look forward to going on a longer vacation- with piece of mind..

My dogs ( a shitzu and a bichon Frise) are small enough to share one kennel. The staff is friendly and good about following instructions for feeding and medications. I even request for my dogs to walk on leads with harnesses and they oblige, otherwise they use a choke collar which I don't care for. They don't mingle with other dogs and get walked every couple hours for exercise and to relieve themselves. This facility also offers daycare and grooming.

Our…read morehusky, Zoey, has come a LONG way and I am so grateful for Randy and Bark Busters for the training and tools that we continue to use every day. In my prior review I noted that I hoped to update my review with greater success. Well, we've done it! Our dog who had serious separation anxiety has been weaned off her anxiety and sedation medications and can stay home alone for 8-10 hours with absolutely no problems. The text to our family read: "She's fixed!! We've done it!". Bark Busters taught us how to keep our dog engaged through daily tasks and activities and they taught us how to speak Zoey's language. She is so much happier and less anxious. We are still seeing improvements in how she handles other dogs and we are working on her car anxiety but being able to leave Zoey home alone has been a huge lifestyle improvement for us. If you're thinking about hiring Bark Busters but can't decide - just do it. It takes time and dedication but their process works and you will have a happier dog in several months.
