I transferred to Sienna because of a personal recommendation. It has been a black hole of lack of communication and late payments. I learned that my tenet was behind when I saw the deposit missing in my account for the month. I then discovered that my property is vacant when I received my statement with no rent recorded at all. The property has been vacant only once in over twenty years. I had to reach out to them. Sienna has yet to proactively notify me of anything in this process. It has been weeks and I have yet to receive a proposal for next steps to occupancy. I would not recommend this business to anyone who needs property management. read more

Horrible company to even try to lease with. Within less than 30 minutes they took my 120$, did a hard credit pull and denied me because in the ITTY BITTY FINE PRINT was a link for a pet application, regardless of the fact that my pets are SERVICE animals and cannot be denied based on their presence in accordance with the ADA. I was dismissed on the phone when asking for more information and a refund of my application due to negligence of information. I will now be filing a formal complaint with the HUD as well as the TWC and City of Austin Equal Employment and Fair Housing Office. read more

The good and the bad.... I have been a renter through Sienna Properties for a few short years. Though, I had some minor moments of frustration with them...the majority of the time was good. I don't have any major complaints with Eric or Tiffany or my home owner. Those are the main 3 I usually have to call for inquiries or problems. Today was the icing on the cake. We were scheduled to do a walk through with one of their Realtor Brokers as the house I am renting is being put on the market at the end of my lease. Unbeknownst to me, I was stuck at the airport for 2 days prior due to bad weather and fell asleep as soon as I got home...only to wake up in a panic realizing that our scheduled walk through was minutes away. I texted the broker, moments before she arrived to see if she would be a decent human and push our time back. Her name is Toni Bondonzi she was completely horrible and unprofessional, threatening to charge me $75. if I didn't let her in. She wouldn't listen to me as I tried to explain my situation, she walked in with an attitude. When I told her about her rotten attitude, she shrugged her shoulders and pushed through the house without regard to my circumstances or respect for me. I asked her to leave and she refused and kept taking pictures of the house. I feel as if complaints like these are never taken serious, in house, especially when it's a complaint about one of their own. I am only posting for those of you who are weighing whether or not to use this company. My only complaint is with Toni if you are scheduled for anything with her or needing a home ask for someone other than Toni. Sienna Properties has nicer people to do business with. This is the worst property management company I have ever dealt with! They sent handyman who connected aluminum and copper wires twice and caused a meltdown and danger of fire. They sent an air conditioning repair man who said nothing was wrong and the fuse box was melted and he did not look. They said they were going to replace the dishwasher when I moved in and they delivered it in a month. When they delivered the dishwasher, they did not install it properly. It was crooked and did not work properly because the legs on the dishwasher were not adjusted. I had to get someone to come in and properly install the mess Sienna's installer made.They took out the dishwasher and it was deep in rat pellets. There are entry holes for varmints that they have refused to close and I have caught multiple big rats. They say they are going to do things and they never do it. Today, I turned on the clothes washer and the utility room and kitchen flooded and lots of rat pellets flooded out under the washer that they had eaten the hoses. When I say these people are awful, that is an understatement.. NEVER USE SIENNA PROPERTIES IF YOU ARE A TENANT. "NOT GOOD" SHOULD BE CHANGED TO "WORSE THAN AWFUL". They send repairmen who double talk. If you have a choice....RUN when you hear the name SIENNA. PS, I am a good tenant who always leaves with my deposit and good references. . Had to message a few times to get a response about a home I likely would have leased within a day. It was exactly what I wanted. But finally got a automated response to schedule a viewing but I don't currently live in town, and went and tracked down the rental history in my own cause it wasn't provided like I'd asked. A few items on their requirements were pretty demanding considering the price point but I would have happily bent over backwards until I read the pet policy. Call me some crazy cat lady if you want but no catd under 2? Why? My cat is 1-2ish and sleeps literally all day like any other and has done so since I got her at 7 months old. I'd understand requiring spay/neuter but I see no reason for this. 2- they require declawing. I've worked in the animal industry the past 12 years and it's basically accepted as animal abuse. I think there is literally one veterinarian willing to do it in the entire Austin metro area. I've never had a leasing company leave such a bad taste in my mouth and I'll definitely be moving on, especially after reading the other reviews here. read more

I wish I could give negative stars. Literally the worst company I have ever had to deal with. They were unresponsive to requests and completely unprofessional. They had the audacity to rent out a property where the previous tenant was evicted without cleaning or restoring the property. The house had roaches, terrible landscaping, and was completely falling apart. Maintenance was slow and intermittent, at best. They were rude to my wife on multiple occasions. Do yourself a favor and go with a different company. Also, stay away from real estate folks like Erik Pesek from Sienna Properties. It appears that the positive reviews on here are primarily from the owners of the properties, but if you happen to be a tenant, I would caution you to beware of Sienna Properties. Also, I see that Sienna Properties attempts to discredit any bad review on here; however, I will be more than happy to post email traffic and pictures of the disgusting property I was forced to live in for 12 months. read more

Eric and his team are the best. Have rented 2 different homes from Sienna. They worked with me on the timetable I had for my second move. I got a full return of my security deposit. I have never had a problem with repairs. I have had trees trimmed or removed with no problems. My latest was on my AC unit. Capacitor went out. It was repaired in 2 days. They called 2 weeks later to schedule the replacement of the repaired unit. It was a 6 hour job to replace and update air ducts and electronics. They have been understanding and helpful in my moves. Applied for a house got approved never got anything after that but send deposit emails.. Nobody ever answers the telephone went to there office it was there only by name place was empty I tried to call for 9 days straight still couldn't get anyone to respond. This company is very unprofessional I would not recommend this place to anyone . They act like your doing them a favor by using there services wich on a scale from 1 to 10 is a 0.... I definitely would not get theses people to manage anything glad I decided to go with someone else sienna properties is just a waste of time and application fees.. lol Eric the so called property manager should be the manager at Wendy's with his experience.. and the company he works for are BAD BUSINESS stay away Don't believe me go visit there office it's empty the roofing company next door said sienna properties has been empty for months.. I have spoken to Eric Pesek, co-owner of this property. He is nothing but a fraud. I rented from him and the property was disgusting; infested with roaches, walls had stains, spider webs from just about everywhere. The bathtub was clogged, full of hair, and had a huge cockroach entangled in all that mess. I sent him pictures and he replied he was very embarrassed about it. I really didn't feel comfortable moving in after seeing the inhabitable conditions of that property. I cleaned it all out, spent so much out of own money to buy everything from brooms, scrubbers, cleaners, etc. While all that is going on, I get an employment opportunity out of town. I definitely took it, I spoke with him abut returning my deposit and first month's rent since I literary didn't move in, all I had done was clean that pigpen from sun up to sun down. He agreed to return my money PLUS compensate me for my "cleaning services." I have before and after pictures, emails between him, myself, and my agent where it is stated he had agreed to such. As soon as the property was rented out, he stopped returning emails and phone calls. He likes to take people's money, rent property that is filthy and pretends it has never happened before, read the other complaints, that is how he does business. IT IS A MONEY SCAM, stay away. If there was a way to give them negative stars, I would. The only property manager of 5 that I have had to fire. Apparently when ICG investment group came to town and partnered with them, they bit off more than they could chew. They ignored e-mail requests, even when sent multiple times. When confronted with a financial loss I incurred due to their lack of responsiveness, Debbie (co-owner with Eric) responded that she gets too many e-mails and that if I wanted her attention, I'd need to call her and walk her through it....!!! The reason to have a property manager in the first place is so that I don't have to spend excessive amounts of my time - I ended up spending more managing them to get things done than I would have doing it myself. That was when I left...still contemplating reporting them to the BBB for my loss. read more

it's not often you hear good words about a property management company, but i can honestly say these guys have been nothing but great from day one. eric and laura have always been easy to work with and very responsive when we have had any issues with the house (the a/c went out last month - argh! and because my work schedule is such a bitch, laura came out to the house to meet the a/c repair guys on two different occasions and saved me and my pup from boiling in our own juices...). they've got a handy on-line form for service requests and i have always gotten a response in a timely, reasonable manner. i would not hesitate to recommend them as a company to care for my property, or to rent from. good peeps! read more

This property management company is one of the worst that I've ever had to deal with in my 7 years of being a renter. Upon moving into one of the properties they manage, the house was dirty, had trash in the yard, the yard had grass and weeds higher than two feet, a broken window, a roach problem to name a few... supposedly the tenant before us was evicted. But you think that all of this would have been cleaned up before a new tenant got there. It wasn't. Upon moving out I cleaned the house spotless and left it in better condition than when I moved in. They ended up charging a $150 cleaning fee... what did they clean? Literally, I scrubbed the tubs, toilets, kitchen, and 1,600 sq ft of tile throughout the entire house! Once I locked myself out of my house and they wouldn't come out to my home in Cedar Park to unlock the doors until the next day. My car keys were also inside. I had to rent an uber to drive me all the way to south Austin and back to get a spare key during rush hour traffic! I also had a leaking (steady stream) faucet issue. It took them almost a week to get someone out there to fix it! I had to pay for the water usage! To top it all off, we waited over a month for them to return our security deposit. We had to email them to remind them we still didn't have it. If challenged, I am more than happy to provide email traffic and pictures of the disgusting property. read more

Worst place I've ever rented from. Like one of the previous reviewers on the "not recommended" page, they rented us a house that had many problems, including a dishwasher that did not work, a back door that leaked water when it rained and a water heater that kept breaking down that they refused to replace and even tried charging us for their maintenance man coming out to the house to fix it! Debbie has a horrible attitude, she is dismissive, condescending and rude. Eric is more of the same, what a despicable group of people. The plumber they use is Mike of Mighty Mike's General Construction and I suspect that he is behind the false charge of $60 for his "labor" he performed to the already dying water heater. He told me that he replaced the pilot light assembly once, when he came out again he said he took the new one off and put the old one back on and that he would be returning the new one to the store because it was defective and it cost him $60....BUT, he told Sienna Properties that it was our fault the part didn't work and that he only cleaned it and the $60 fee was for his "labor". Which is NOT AT ALL what he told me, I don't know why he would lie! Sienna Properties then turned around and sent ME the bill for $60 for THEIR plumber coming out to THEIR rental property!!!! When I tried to straighten this out with Eric, Debbie and Meredith, they were rude and dismissive. Debbie, actually got mad that I was calling to fix the problem! I can't believe that all these adults are behaving this way, it is dishonest and disgusting! I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy rent from Sienna Properties. We've lived in that house for six months and the dishwasher still hasn't been fixed or replaced, what a joke! Can't wait for our lease to be up! IT HURTS TO GIVE THEM EVEN ONE STAR!!!!!! Do not rent from the Sienna Properties. Worst Landlord I have ever had. They gave me keys to a trashed house that was filthy with rotten food in the refrigerator. They had a month to have the house cleaned between when we signed the lease and wend we moved in, this was not a last min lease. Sent a day maid to clean while I was trying to move in due to the fact my moving truck was outside ready to go and everyone had already taken a day off work to help. We had no other option but to move in. Fast forward two years. We had been good tenants always paying out rent on time. They kept $690 of our $1000 security deposit to make up for what the prior tenant had done to the house. We returned the house to them in much better shape than we received it. Only rent from this company if you want a really bad experience. Sienna Properties has given me two first, first time moving in to a trashed house and first time not getting my full security deposit. Thank you Sienna Properties for being the worst landlord EVER! read more
