We were happy with the selection of dresses and the staff were friendly, but as time went on, the love faded. About a week before the wedding, when the bridesmaids dresses rolled in and fittings were down to the wire we were ready to divorce them. The bride had ordered a petite dress, but had to have SIX inches cut off the bottom, there were charges for alterations that were not disclosed, and the dress left the shop wrinkled. Due to an oversight by the staff, the bride had to drive out to the shop the day before the wedding to pick up part of the dress that wasn't with the dress!!! The bridesmaids didn't have any better luck. The schedules of the seamstress (emphasis on the stress) did not make scheduling the fittings easy for the five bridesmaids and they too had charges that were not disclosed at the time of purchase. Fortunately there were no bridezilla attacks and she is now happily married. If you are looking for happily ever after, look a different direction!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this alterations shop, especially considering I…read morewas referred here by the bridal shop where I purchased my wedding dress. My second appointment with Brenda was honestly one of the most frustrating experiences I had throughout my wedding planning. I waited about 15 minutes while she ate, and then she left me for another 10 minutes to look at an email. When I brought up sleeves for my dress, which we had already discussed during my first appointment, she became visibly upset. She threw scissors across the room and told me I was being "difficult." After spending another 10 minutes looking for sleeves, she brought out beautiful glittery lace sleeves. The problem was that my wedding dress had no glitter whatsoever, so they obviously did not coordinate with my dress. When I politely rejected them, she told me I was "hard to impress" and that it would be difficult to find something that would work. A few minutes later, she brought out lace material instead. She then told me that if I went through with the sleeves, I would probably eventually have to cut them off because they were likely to rip. Needless to say, this was extremely concerning to hear about something being altered onto my wedding dress. At my third appointment, I worked with Sarah instead, and she was absolutely lovely. She was kind, patient, and explained everything to me without making me feel like I was being difficult. She was actually surprised when I told her I had been told I would eventually have to cut the sleeves off and assured me that shouldn't be the case. Unfortunately, even though Sarah was wonderful, I still left with an unfinished dress. There were safety pins left in my wedding dress that I didn't notice until I put it on. My photographer had even taken photos of the dress hanging, and you can clearly see the safety pins in the dress. When I removed the pins, a significant amount of loose fabric came off. The extra fabric had never been properly removed. My bridesmaids and maid of honor ended up having to cut off a large amount of excess fabric themselves right before I was supposed to be taking photos with my photographer. After paying nearly $1,000 for alterations, I never expected to have to finish my wedding dress myself on my wedding day. I called the shop afterward to see if there was anything they could do to compensate me for the situation. I only received a voicemail saying they would speak with the last person who had worked on my dress. I have yet to hear anything back. The most disappointing part is learning that Brenda is an owner of the business. I believe she knows what she is doing when it comes to alterations, but her customer service and the way she treated me were completely unacceptable. Being called "difficult" and "hard to impress," having scissors thrown across the room, and ultimately leaving me with an unfinished dress is not how a bride should be treated--especially when she has paid nearly $1,000 for the service. Sarah was kind and professional, and I truly appreciate how she treated me. Unfortunately, the overall experience was overshadowed by my experience with Brenda and the fact that my dress was not finished properly. I was so excited to have my wedding dress altered and ready for my wedding day, and instead, this added unnecessary stress to an already emotional and important time. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to or recommending this business.

Many people say they are expensive, but for the most part, the prices ride the middle compared to other vendors. I was very happy the day of, everyone was on time, some even stayed late. My pictures were beautiful, my video ended up being above and beyond expectations, and my hair was lovely. The DJ had a few mic issues, but played a great Playlist and kept everyone on the dance floor. I also loved the discount I got for continuing to book with Bellagala. It is a bit tricky to get to. They are located above the Bulldog restaurant so if you aren't familiar with the city, it's tricky. You either need to parallel park by the meters.or park in the ramp, and then find the super inconspicuous elevator to take you up to Bellagala. But if you are local, or feeling confident, I'm sure you could find it without an issue. Very professional staff. They are dressed professionaly, offered us tea and water, and they took notes the whole meeting. Very impressed and will recommend to everyone.

Unfortunately, our coordinator became one of the biggest sources of stress that day. Leading up to the wedding, communication often felt reactive. We found ourselves repeatedly following up, initiating planning discussions, and driving decisions. While our coordinator was friendly, she never gave us confidence that the details were truly under control. On the wedding day, that lack of preparation became apparent. Multiple family members had to step in and perform responsibilities we had hired a coordinator to handle. At one point, our coordinator insisted our reception ended at 10:00 p.m., despite our contract reserving the venue until 11:00 p.m. Even after being corrected once, she later began directing family members and guests to clean up an hour early, causing part of our reception to end prematurely. Family members had to correct her a second time. What has been most disappointing is the lasting impact. Every conversation I've had about our wedding since then has included someone asking, "What was happening with your coordinator?" or commenting on how overwhelmed and unprofessional she appeared. Instead of remembering our wedding for the joy of the day, many people remember the chaos surrounding its coordination. We shared these concerns with Bellagala in detail after the wedding. Their response was that they believed the contracted services had been fulfilled and they declined any refund or other resolution. I understand that no wedding is perfect, but a day-of coordinator should reduce stress, not create it. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Bellagala's coordination services.

Since we had a theme they found several ways to engage the guest's which was so important for us. We went all out on this event with things like special decorations, a theme with our guests dressing accordingly. There was a photo booth, special games, and live performance like a circus act, catering, wait staff, bar staff and several announcements and more. Little things like helping set up other vendor's video presentation and requesting a podium for announcements and including a platform for one of our shorter speakers. We did a "singing for supper" game to see who next goes to the dinner buffet. Our guests loved it. Who pays attention to these type of things, experts? The day of the event came and Class Act coordinated all the different people from all these different disciplines masterfully plus working in our needs at the same time while keeping people on the dance floor.
