I don't know that there are enough words for how wonderful my experience was at Che Bella! Che…read moreBella was the first stop of the day for my mother and I. Upon arrival we were greeted right away by two ladies, one of which was my consultant Jenna. She listened while I explained what my vision was (which was all over to be honest) and price point. She proceeded to show us around the racks and helped me select a number of dress while she also pulled some on her own. While trying on dresses she was always there to help unzip/zip me and was always there to offer advise or answer questions as my mom and I evaluated each dress. I was shocked at how many dresses I loved in the store, the selection was amazing! As the end of my 90min appointment was nearing I still had a few dresses to try and Jenna was kind enough to let me continue to try dresses on! On top of that my mother and I always had full water glasses. We eventually left, with a few dresses that we loved in mind there that Jenna wrote down for us. The next two stops for us could not hold a flame to the experience we had at Che Bella. Flutter, the second stop was great and had fine service but the dresses were just not my taste. Our third stop, The Wedding Shoppe was TERRIBLE! I was not even given my full 90 min appointment before my consultant ended it. I told her designers I liked, she never brought them in. Told her I wanted to try something with less/no lace, she brought more and more lace. Told her I wanted to try something strapless, she kept bring dresses with straps! After leaving my mother and I called Che Bella right away to see if we could come back and try a few more dresses on. They informed us they were closing in 45mins but to come on back! Once returning to Che Bella ( about 20 mins before close) Jenna was there to greet us again and had pulled the dresses that were my favs from that morning. I tried them all on, saving the best for last! Wearing that last dress I looked in the mirror behind me only to see my mom crying and Jenna even tearing up! It was a genuine moment and I appreciated it, Jenna took the time to get to know me and my mom, she actually cared that I was happy, that is customer service at its finest. As my mother and I cried after I said yes to the dress Jenna came out with champagne for my mom, myself and her! My mom and I sat in the closed shop and enjoyed a moment that we will never have again as a mother and daughter. Jenna and all the ladies at Che Bella, thank you for giving us that moment, it meant the world. I can not recommend a better place to have one of the most special moments in your life!

I did not go with a dress from here, mostly because I liked others equally and they were cheaper. The staff was friendly, though I was surprised the attendant did not help me get into my dresses. There is space for only 2-3 appointments at once, so they do feel intimate. Good natural lighting for getting a feel for the dress. They are pretty strict on the 4 guest max rule. They weren't too pushy and didn't follow up after we left (which I appreciated). Overall I would recommend adding Che Bella to your dress appointment list! Great restaurant (Gai Noi) and park (Loring) nearby for a true girls afternoon!

After several weeks of trying desperately to find something…read moreoff-the-rack to wear for my wedding in the Tetons, I finally decided that it was time to look into Joy. My mom and I walked into this gorgeous atelier, and were immediately greeted by an enthusiastic and effervescent Joy, who started asking me questions about what styles I like and what I feel looks best on me. Long or short? Strapless or sleeves? What style waist? I tried on a few of the stock dresses she has on her hangers (she literally customizes every dress to YOU, whether it's a custom style or not), and we started formulating an idea of what my ideal dress would look like. She ripped off sheats of organza and started wrapping them around my body, and suddenly a dress appeared! I had three more fittings with her, and each time I got more and more excited about what was taking shape. She totally supported my vision, guiding me along the way to ensure that I would look exactly how I wanted on my wedding day, and crafted an elegant, completely unique piece that reflected the atmosphere and aesthetic we were aiming for. Her attention to detail is impeccable (she even stitched into the dress my dad's initials, so I could feel like he was a part of things even in his absence). Her energy, her creativity, her ability to make a reality out of your vision is inspiring, and makes her creations stand out even more. Joy made our wedding even more memorable thanks to her dedication to her craft, and I can't thank her enough for it. She's worth every single penny (and, by the way, you'll EASILY spend as much money on a generic dress that needs alterations as you will on a totally customized dress that matches you, your style, your body, your aesthetic perfectly). I'll be back for more!

I used to pass the Sienna Cole Bridal storefront often when I worked in the area. I always loved to…read moresee what designs Lisa had. They were always beautiful and unique. Then, one of my friends got her wedding dress from Sienna Cole Bridal. Her dress was amazing, and I got to hear about the process of her putting it together with Lisa. Here's where my story starts, when my now-husband and I started talking about getting married, I told this friend. She said that I had to go try on dresses at bridal shops. I didn't want to because it seemed overwhelming. I just wanted to buy something online. My friend was persuasive and asked me to at least go to Sienna Cole Bridal even if for the fun of it. So, I made an appointment. My friend was going to come but was unable to. The first visit was just me. Lisa immediately made me feel relaxed. She didn't put any pressure on me to find a dress. She let me look around at my leisure. I tried on a few dresses (some that I liked and some just for fun). I tried on the dress that would eventually become my wedding dress, and I loved it. I immediately felt so beautiful. The dress was one that I didn't expect to be my style, but after putting it on, it was totally me. After I left, I couldn't stop thinking about this dress. I was so worried that someone was going to buy it before I could. I wasn't engaged, yet, but I had to have this dress as my wedding dress. The next day, I was perusing David's Bridal online for shoes, and I found the perfect shoes to match this dress that I hadn't even bought. I may be crazy, but I bought the shoes. Then, I knew I had to go back and buy the dress. I immediately set up an appointment to go back to Sienna Cole Bridal as soon as I could. I got my mom and sisters to come with me. I tried it on for them (with the new shoes that were perfect for the dress), but I already knew that I was going to buy this dress. Lisa helped make a whole ensemble for me at a totally reasonable price - and she was never, ever pushy. We looked through jackets and belts and decided on one of each for my "ceremony look." Then, Lisa added spaghetti straps to the dress so that I could take off the jacket for the reception, which was the best idea. I was able to enjoy myself while dancing. I stayed cool and felt confident in my dress. Lisa, thank you so much for all you did for me and my beautiful dress. You are an artist. Your commitment to quality is so admirable. And thank you for your wonderful customer service. The whole process from my first visit to picking up the dress was so fun and painless. Thank you so much.

I went to go pick it up a week later and the dress would not even come close to zipping. During the process, I was told this was my fault and there could no way it was her fault when taking in the dress on the sides? She then put criss cross straps in the back (making it look different from the other dresses) and I went to pick it up, again, and she left the zipper in place so walking down the aisle the dress completely looked too small making it obvious the zipper did not close. It is now the day of the wedding and I finally got the dress back. Not only did I have to pay for her mistake but after she ran my credit card she informed me there was a 4% credit card fee. Terrible experience with this place, I highly would not recommend!

So when I started thinking about a wedding dress, I wanted to try to find a vintage number that fit both me and my style. I was so happy to learn about Andrea's because I wanted to shop leisurely (not get into an ebay bidding war) and try thing on (even if the measurements seem right, it may not look good once it's on). The shop is loosely organized by era, but you can pull from any rack if something catches your eye. I especially liked Andrea's vision in seeing how a dress could be altered--different neckline, shorter length, a change to the bodice--to fit the designs I was most interested in. A nice, low-pressure environment, but don't bring your whole entourage. There really isn't room for more than one or two extra people, and the dressing rooms are pretty small considering the volume of some of the dresses. Obviously the assortment changes all the time, but the day I was there I saw dresses ranging from about $300 to $1600. I was also impressed by the selection of vintage accessories, including sweet birdcage veils and embellished headbands.
