    Smallest portion of waffle fries.

Over recent months the business has reapportioned the waffle fries so now instead of a bowl of waffle fries you receive the smallest tray of waffle fries. There is a smaller option available as seen below. 5.99 for the small and 8.99 for the large. I ordered the large first and then told them to bring me the small because the large was so insulting and I had to see the joke that the small was.

Fun slider place. I usually tie it in with a visit to the farmers market in the summer. Look for fails slider of the day and special appetizers. Half off happy hour menu makes it easy to come back!!! We go to the Plymouth one more often but just cuz it's closer!!!!

Ahi tuna, 911 slider and other slider all in lettuce wraps.

10/24/24 First time here and was very busy when we got here @6pm. And it calmed way way down just before 7pm. Like completely changed and became much much more bearable. Took them about an hour to bring us our food but I was part of a party of 7 and we arrived at definitely their busy time. And all of of my sliders were good.

I met up with a friend who recently moved out this way and he suggested Sidecar, as he'd never been before. I've been to quite a few locations on the Eastside. We both like Dirty Martinis, but were disappointed when they didn't have a top self selection of vodka and no blue cheese olives??!!! What is happening here? We opted for Gypsy Vodka the other choice was Absolute!!! lol Is it 1990? We were laughing about it! We did enjoy our sliders and poutine. I guess the message here is bring a flask! Haha

    Indoor seating.

Been to this place twice now and both times it was good. The first time we had the vegan sloppy Joe's and they were very good. We also had the fried pickles and french fries which were also very good. Our next visit we had the vegan sliders and they were good too. They also have a couple of other vegan options which we have not tried yet and we spoke with the owner and he said that they are considering expanding their menu to accommodate more vegan options which would be very nice. So, if you're looking for a place to eat and you are vegan you can certainly find something here. Our service the first time was amazing! Our server was very friendly, attentive and accommodating. The second time though it was not great but also not horrible our server seemed to be spending more time talking at the bar rather than following up with us on things like water, food, and getting the bill (that's how it goes sometimes with restaurants). The vibe was good you can see that they are excepting of everyone and the place was clean. If you want there is an option to sit outside and enjoy the sun if you're not feeling like being indoors or in a crowded restaurant. Overall my true rating is a 4.5 due to the service our second time around.

We went to happy hour at the Farmington location. The food , drinks and service were PHENOMENAL! We will definitely be returning more often.

The food was just okay. The eggrolls were a bit over done & the cheese curds weren't very hot or melty. We did eat them with the raspberry mustard vinaigrette and that was really good. My mom enjoyed her slider. Service was fantastic!

This place was poppin on a Saturday night so be prepared to wait if you go at a busy time. They had a good selection of drinks as well as food. They have more than just sliders so something for everyone.

Food 10/10 listen here I have found the cheat code! Don't order them or DoorDash. Go right in before Happy Hour. This is the best meal I have had from them! Service 7/10 Nothing to write home about , we were kind of neglected but enjoyed our company. Ambiance 7/10 Small bar vibes. Great to go when they have game night! I would give that a higher rating

    Smokehouse slider on the right

This was our first time here and I was so impressed! I saw Sidecar Slider Bar on a top burger list and decided that we must try them out - and was thrilled to find out that there was one less than 10 minutes from our house. After a lot of debate, my hubby got a Smokehouse slider and whatever the slide of the day was (it had bacon, that is all I recall). I had to try the ahi tuna slider and mushroom swiss slider. I love ahi and this was expertly cooked - a good sear and bright red in middle. The mushroom swiss slider had zip sauce on it and that kept the patty moist. There are so many great sliders on the menu but I feel like I'm always going to get the ahi slider and the mushroom swiss one will be on heavy rotation. The waffle fries were what I expected - nothing exceptional, nothing bad...just a decent waffle fry.

Slider of the day was Bratwurst with sauerkraut. Soup was White Chicken Chili! Amazing!!

The bar atmosphere is great and I look forward to summer when they can open up the doors and we can spread out a little bit more. From Retro Bliss to Corporate Miss - 1Up's New Management Hits Rock Bottom…read more.. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. 1Up Arcade Bar, once my go-to haven for arcade nostalgia and friendly vibes, has devolved into a shell of its former self. Under the new management, the experience has gone from retro joy to something resembling a garish corporate money pit. If you're looking to relive the good old days of arcade glory, consider this your neon-lit warning sign to stay far, far away. First off, the bartenders. Remember last year when 1Up's bartenders were warm, cheerful, and chatty, making you feel like you were part of the family? Well, those days are deader than my high score on Pac-Man. The new bartenders treat you with the exact enthusiasm you'd expect from someone waiting at the DMV. Ordering a drink here feels like you've personally interrupted their day--and heaven forbid you ask any questions about the menu. Smiles? Gone. Friendly banter? Vanished. You're left standing there with your overpriced, uninspired drink wondering if you've wandered into a soulless high-end cocktail bar by mistake. Ah, the drinks. Once playful and creative masterpieces that added to 1Up's charm, they've been replaced with pretentious, unimaginative concoctions that scream, "We're fancy now; please empty your wallet." No fun, no spirit (pun intended), just overpriced disappointments. At their current price point, I half expected the drink to come with complimentary resentment from the staff. And don't get me started on the arcade machines. Gone are the iconic retro classics that made me feel like I'd stepped back into the golden age of arcades. Instead, the place is now stuffed with bright, flashy, wallet-draining horrors you'd find at a Dave and Buster's. What happened to the charm? The authenticity? Now it's just a playground for toddlers with no attention spans and those who value flashing lights over actual gameplay. Speaking of, if you're a Gen Z-er armed with your parents' credit card and an inability to go three seconds without dopamine overload, this place might actually be a dream come true for you. The rest of us? Not so much. Look, 1Up Arcade Bar used to be a gem, but now it feels like a soulless cash grab. Don't come here hoping for a genuine arcade bar experience because you'll leave disappointed--and poorer. Save your time, save your money, and spare yourself the heartbreak of seeing what this place has become. RIP, old 1Up. You are sorely missed.

The music was actually so loud it was hard to catch up with my friend. I wasn't aware of how cozy the spot was. We weren't allowed to sit next to each other (understandably so, the seats are designed for two/four people to sit across from each other like normal) so that made it easiest to just quiet up and listen to the music. I have no problem with that, the singer was great! The waitress was kind for even checking with the manager to see if we could adjust the seating arrangement. I had to ask lol I had the fried salmon bites, very salty but good flavor. Oh, and one of the two bathroom stalls wouldn't close but luckily girl code helped us stay secure! This spot is a hidden gem especially for those who appreciate a very intimate live music performance, when they have it. I'd like to try more of the food.

I arrived early to sample their Happy Hour where I got a Tommy Margarita which was one of four cocktail choices on the Happy Hour menu where the other choices are an Old Fashion, Lemon Drop Martini and a Black Manhattan. All of which I personally am a fan of. Relative to my Margarita, it was very well made with 2 full ounces of Blanco Tequila as the base and quite tasty. Definately a drink with a kick and not a watered down version you get at most other bars in the area. At $8 it's a pretty good deal in my opinion especially for a drink of this quality. Relative to Dinner my wife got the White Fish dinner and I got the Milanese Chicken. Both dishes were excellent where they were cooked to perfection and were delicious. Prices on the menu were a tad high in my opinion but the old adage that you get what you pay for applies here and is definately worth the cost in my opinion. Appetizer was the Calamari which was well made and quite tasty in its own right. Relative to staff and facility, the facility is very classy with a nice contemporary flair to it, Definately an upscale feel to it where both the bar and the dining area offer an elevated dining/drinking experience. Staff was super friendly with great follow up where the bar can be a tad slower as only one bartender was working while I was there but he did a fairly good job of keeping up with the orders and high marks for his efficiency. Overall a great classy restaurant with a nice Happy Hour makes this a destination restaurant worth the trip if you live outside this area. For discerning customers who prize Quality in what they eat and drink this is a business not to be missed!
