Everything we tried was amazing. It is a small place and you can tell a lot of people grab and go. No prices anywhere when we came in. But tbh they may have been changing things over. I believe all the prices were online. And I think they do a lot of online order then pickup. Two women behind counter never stopped cooking or cleaning. The entire time we were there. Very clean and welcoming even though it's small. If you get a chance try it. I heard they used Boars head meats. I think they do because it was good read more

What a cute little sandwich shop! We are only in town for the day and were craving a sub. Found this gem on Yelp and stopped in. The 2 ladies working were incredibly friendly, and they took time to make me feel welcome. We tried the Nona and the OG grilled cheese with turkey added. The Nona was really good but the standout was the OG. Top 5 lifetime sandwich list for sure. We will be back next time we are in the area! read more

I sent a message more than 2 weeks before Valentine's Day to ask about a charcuterie bouquet. I was told that they could do that. A few back and forths later, I had my order in and had arranged for a 2:00 pick up on Valentines Day. Communication since then has been dismal. Today, I got a message 20 minutes before pick up time that she was behind and asked if I could come later. Due to a meeting, I told her I'd come at 4. She said it would be ready "anytime after 4". I arrived at 4 and messaged her that I was there (the lights were off and door was locked). At 4:30 she responded that she was about to bring an order out to a gentleman that was waiting when I got there and then would "finish" mine. I asked how much longer and explained I had dinner reservations. I got no response. At 4:45 I messaged again and expressed my frustration. She asked if I wanted free delivery instead. At 5:00 I told her I had to leave and she could decide what to do (refund my money or deliver my order). It's now 9:00 and, despite a few messages to her, I've had no response. For an order that was placed two weeks ago and has been paid for. I do understand being busy and shorthanded, and I've been as patient and accommodating as possible. Things happen and I get that. All she had to do - at any point today - was tell me she wouldn't be able to fulfill the order. I would have understood and respected her honesty. But instead, she prioritized other orders over mine, was non-communicative, wasted much of my time today, and put a huge damper on what should have been a joyous and loving day. read more

Best vegetarian sandwich I've ever had! Seriously. And I'm a tough cookie when it comes to veggie sandwiches, having been mostly plant based for the last 7 years. The bread is phenomenal, soft with a good chew. We dined outside at the bistro tables which was nice to enjoy the weather and watch people milling about on Franklin st. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend! read more

Maybe going out of business. Sign on door says they will try to open for lunch at 12:30. Arrives at 12:30, saw someone inside that gave me a sign like we are closed. Not sure if that means for good or just for lunch. Sub restaurant really needs to be open for lunch to stay viable!! read more

Absolutely AWESOME salad. We stopped in for a late lunch Saturday afternoon. We both got the Siciliano salad with everything and all the shakeys. Let me tell you! It was the absolute best salad. Friendly and helpful staff. We are not from the area but are visiting to watch our son play baseball and wish we had a place like this at home. Would 10 star if I could. read more

This was my first trip to Siciliano Subs. I was not familiar with the menu but the staff was very helpful in explaining each sandwich and helping me create something I would enjoy. Siciliano Subs - Ham and Swiss with lettuce, pickle, black olives and Mayo. Along with a bag of chips they offer. - Delis Near Me - Evansville, Indiana

Prefect sandwiches. If you aren't used to ordering your own masterpiece, I recommend talking to the staff. They will direct you to the best sandwich and toppings for you. The shop is a little small so if you decide to eat nearby I'd recommend getting the food to go and enjoying the riverfront. read more

We were looking for a quick bite before taking a tour on the LST. Great sandwich and cute decor.

Sonny, you ask if I've sliced life-flesh. Perhaps you saw me wiping my cutlass on this bar towel. Perhaps I have a few beads of sweat wandering down my brow. I've cut. Been cut. Been on death's threshold. I'd be ok being cut by that slicer behind the counter. Hurt so good. A real deli sandwich. Get The Godfather. Get herb oil. Wrap your wounds in kosher salt. read more

Holy Moses, best subs in south Indiana. Ask for it house style with their relish. We split The Godfather and Siciliano sandwiches and they both were so damn good. They ain't playin'. read more

This is honestly one of my favorite local shops in Evansville. The food is great and the workers are always a pleasure. One of the best things about the shop is the quality of meat that they use. It is not full of nitrates and fillers. And lastly, they support educators! The owner is first one to serve you and he's great! Check them out! You won't be disappointed. read more

They are always friendly at Sicilianos. Everything I choose is great, and I recommend their salads. Better than expected for a sub place. Be sure to try their pickles and desserts. read more

Was so happy to see they reopened after Covid eased up. Family business, I believe it's run by a man and wife who just know how to make a killer sandwich. They use Boar's Head meat and fresh fixins that make these sandwiches so big you might have a tough time fitting them in your mouth. Ability to unhinge your jaw like a snake, a plus. read more

This place is fantastic! Friendly staff and great food! Ask for the Danny, it's not on the menu. It's a Reuben with additional toppings. Better than a plain Reuben which is great as well. read more

Lately I've had their salads so far so good and the portions are decent if not loaded. I do like how they use shredded lettuce and and their sauce is simply olive base so another reason to test it out. read more

You're doing yourself a disservice if you haven't been here. Seriously. The owners are wonderful, employees are attentive, and the food! I can't even begin with the food. The Cuban is my favorite sandwich but the Siciliano is a close second. And going to the trouble of having Muffaletta bread flown in from New Orleans for Mardi Gras weekend?! Who even does that?! Seriously, make a stop, grab a sammich, and don't forget about the desserts. Sandwiches are literally sliced to order, with Boar's Head meats and cheeses. The bread is from a local bakery, fresh daily. My father is notoriously picky but he said the Cuban was delicious and asked me to bring him one less than a week after the first. The prices are beyond reasonable. I got one whole Siciliano sub, double meat, double cheese, a Cuban, two guava and cream cheese pastelitos, and a massive raspberry and cream cheese iced brownie for about $30 bucks. Half of the sub will feed me for two meals and I split the Cuban with my dad. And the muffaletta was amazing!! I had a fourth of a whole sandwich for dinner tonight and the amount of meat and cheese was crazy! The tapenade rivals some I've had in NOLA. Seriously guys. Check this place out. Sooooo much better than a chain. read more

I crave this place at least once a week! The best sandwiches in Evansville! I always want to try something else, but keep going back to the Nona because it's SO good. Everything is super fresh and they have low-carb items including low-carb bread and great salads. If you don't care about the carbs the fresh bread is amazing! Awesome dessert and soup options as well. This is a must try super cute little hole in the wall! read more

This is one of the best spots to stop by for lunch. I've only ever gotten the classic Italian Siciliano Sub but I keep coming back once a week for it and cannot recommend it enough. Make sure to get a dessert too they always have some kind of homemade treat. read more

Before Siciliano Subs got to town, Evansville was in dire need of a local sandwich shop other than subway. I created my own sandwhich (turkey, pepper jack, lettuce, pickles, vinegar, salt and pepper) and it was AMAZING. I've been here a few times and the food is ALWAYS good and the staff are friendly and helpful! True to the West Side, they also sell grippos and ski! Haven't tried their cookies or churros yet but they look so good that I'm sure I'll be trying them soon!! read more

This place is amazing. Great family service and I suggest for any person coming here to get the Cuban.

This our new favorite at work! Everyone loves the subs. We also have a couple people that are low carb and the salads are really hearty. I haven't tried a soup I didn't love either. The one with spinach and sausage is to die for. Welcome to the Westside! Nice to have a new, reasonable and delicious option. read more
