The food here is great. The staff is friendly, and the price isn't too bad. I would recommend.

Ordering online from their website puts in an order at a restaurant in Maryland w/o notice. Wasted $20.

Yummy cafe is my favorite Chinese restaurant in State College mainly because they serve actual…read moreauthentic Chinese food. Most places around here have catered their flavors towards an American food palette and is usually underwhelming. Yummy Cafe is not afraid to give you authentic dishes. I always get the eggplants with garlic sauce and it is always consistently delicious. The ma po tofu is sweet and spicy but the spice does not overwhelm the dish. The only thing that was lacking were the sesame balls but they were also REALLY good. The red bean paste was just a bit dry. I think one thing the restaurant can improve on is their menu, only the take out menu has the right prices. But, the waitress is really nice and made our experience at the restaurant pleasant. In regards to the ambiance, the interior design is a bit old and could use an upgrade but I think it bring authenticity to the overall experience at the restaurant. Overall, I highly recommend checking out Yummy Cafe. I come here all the time and every time the food has been amazing!

My party was seated right away and the server was so nice and attentive. All the food looked delicious but I went for my go to Sichuan favorites: cumin beef (or lamb if available), sautéed string beans, and steamed egg. The food was delicious and was exactly what I was going for. It may not look like the nicest place on the inside but the food is truly authentic and amazing. Definitely stop by if you're in the area!

We were in State Collage for a sports event and found this gem by campus. Fusion Asian with…read moretiramisu, not expected, but it hit. We shared three dishes - beef stew, drunken noodles with tofu and beef ribs. They were all really good. The ribs were meaty, slightly sweet and fell off the bone. Served with a sunny side up egg, spinach and rice. There was an egg with the stew as well and it made the dish feel silky. The beef seemed slow cooked and the basmati rice went well. The tiramisu was solid, light and airy and very pretty plating. Service was a little apathetic, but the food was good enough to offset. Reasonable prices too. Would definitely go back if we lived here.

It is truly incredible and has ruined other ramen for me because of how good it is. I compare every ramen I get to it and they never measure up. If you do not really have a tolerance for spice, you can ask for it less spicy. We also got the chicken and duck rolls, both are very good. I do not know if there is a menu item in this restaurant that's bad. The seafood explosion is delicious and so is the popcorn chicken. We've had the cheesecake, the truffle bomb, and the lava cake, once again, all amazing.
