The soup is made completely out of vinegar and salt The beef is hard Vegetable is old

Saw a new Chinese/Japanese place and decided to try it. What a disappointment!! The food is absolutely NASTY. I don't understand how it's possible to offer customers a bowl of noodle soup with pure vinegar and spice inside and call it "hot and sour beef noodle soup" and then the beef inside is HARD. I complained to the waiter and told him that the beef is way too hard and he said "oh this is a different meat you probably never had but it's supposed to be hard" ... I definitely know what beef stew & tendons taste like and definitely NOT supposed to be hard. The fact that he was trying to trick me was even more ridiculous. If 0 stars is an option, that's what I would put. 0/10 would come back again.

I got food poisoning from this place and had severe diarrhea... I would not recommend this place.

Everyone says: go ahead Frank, just order, we trust you (i love these people). Minimal criteria: Convenient and delicious enough (given the expectations bar appropriately set for the region), and variety for people who each want something a little different. TY Yelp, Kokoro looks promising. placed a take-out order, and given Saturday night of Big Ten Wresting Championships, order was ready and delivered just fine. The food is good enough, hand rolls, egg rolls, ramen bowls, chic wings, and def don't pass up on the Avocado Kokoro, deff tasty (too much sauce, but just fine). Def worth an order, you won't be disappointed, if you accept the geographical frame (we're in a college town, not a major metro China-town).

The bbq pork tasted like it was microwaved from a cheap tub in the grocery store. The broth was bland. The egg was not marinated (like a real ramen egg). The noodles tasted old. The dumplings were chewy and had a weird after taste. The food was generally sketchy, and i stopped eating halfway through. The service was confusing, but nice at least. The inside was basically the bones of the previous restaurant, whatever that was (the hut pot- maybe? Judging from the old podium hidden in the back. The good reviews have to be fake. Nuff said. Don't do it. Go anywhere else.

That's not so with this International Market in State College! They had a plethora of Mediterranean, South American, Asian, and European products. Another great thing is it is somewhat organized by region, so you don't find random things next to each other. The store is located in an old house so you go from room to room while shopping. It can feel a little bit cramped but I was surprised by the amount of products they sell. There are lots of refrigerator and freezer goods too. The prices seem high for American groceries but as far as I can tell they are typical for an international market. I'd suggest reading other reviews and checking expiration dates. I'm new in town and have only been once but I understand they may not have high turnover for some products that may end up past their expiration. Just use your brain. Not sure if they take cards- I always assume there's a card minimum or that they don't take card so keep cash on hand. The only disappointing thing was their fresh produce. It was the size of a cocktail table and had about 6 items total. I'm sure there are other shops in town with better produce selection but as far as cultural variety, I'd say this International Market takes the cake.

They also brought our check after about an hour at which point we hadn't received any of our food yet (not even our appetizer). I would go back but only if I have a lot of time to spend there. For food we had the chicken dumpling balls as an app, very good and a good number of them. I had the pumpkin curry it was very tasty, less curry sauce and more stuff than what I'm used to but good. Lemont is a cozy and quaint town at the base of Mount Nittany. Kamrai sits in the middle of the "business" area in Lemont. It's located in an old victorian style home with an enclosed porch. There's plenty of parking in and around town with sidewalks to access the restaurant. They offer thai & sushi as menu options. By luck we stumbled across Kamrai on this evening as we were in the area around dinner time. We got porch seating, which is great, and opted for some thai and sushi offerings. It's an old establishment but it has it's own charm. Service was good and the food came quickly. I got Spicy Udon with pork and it was delicous. I also tried their shrimp tempura. Overall it was a great visit.
