It was my first time to the place for an event. Walking in I was like, ok, it gots a vibe going on here. Walked in and the bar area is to the right and they were playing some good music. Everyone in this area was vibing. The place was nice, as in the A.C was keeping everyone cool, until I was seating in the even room, it was hot and humid. Several of us went out to the bar area for some drinks, the staff here were loud, obnoxious, several in the party said they were rude too. The restroom for the men's was out of order and it lifted one toilet which had pee everywhere on the floor and the paper towel trash overflowing. We went back in to eat and it was a buffet style. The rice was overcooked, the chicken enchiladas were a bit running, and the steak fajitas had no seasoning and the meat was tuff. First off - they charged me for chips and salsa. They NEVER told me that. THEY asked ME if I wanted some just like any restaurant, got the bill and they charged me for it. Wtf!? Second they charged me again just to use my debit card. Almost $7 in fees between those two things. Wild. The food was watery and mediocre. Some of the staff was nice but not attentive to us at all. This was our 1st visit here and we had a great experience. We sat in the bar as it was happy hour and they had happy hour specials. It was really loud with the Jukebox playing so it was kind of hard to hear your conversations and tables were full but still had places to sit. Happy hour was from 3pm to 7pm. We got 1 of each of their happy hour food for each at $7. Every thing was delicious. We really enjoyed the hot wings, tacos, taquitos and quesadillas. The hot wings were a little spicy but not spicy that you couldn't eat them. They had the right amount of spice. The tacos were amazing. The carne asada had a sweet taste to it and I loved it. The carnitas were spiced just perfect and were really tender. The taquitos were really good too fried just perfect. I wish the chicharron sauce was just a little warmer but I really enjoyed those too. The chile verde fries were delicious and the meat tender. I didn't like the Jalapeño poppers. I wish they were homemade and I didn't like the sauce it was a chipotle ranch I believe. Our waiter was really friendly and provided great service. The menu itself looked really good and prices were similar to places around town. This place was really clean too. I didn't try any of their alcohol drinks this time but definitely trying them next time. I definitely give this place a 2 thumbs up overall and can't wait to try other menu items. I was intentionally overcharged on taco Tuesday. Tacos are 3 for $5.00. I had 2 orders, my son got 3. We were charged double. Plus, I ordered 2 beers but was charged for 4 . When I mentioned the mistake to our waiter. He said I'll give you cash back since he already charged my card. He handed me $7.00. I was discussed and just left rather than make a scene. I will not come back and I'll tell all my friends about their illegal business practices. So much for cinco de mayo celebrations. read more

Finally , with new owners and lower pricing down to reality Si Senor Grill was very good. My wife and thought we would give this place another shot after staying away for 3 years. After the new owners had taken over we started to see the parking lot filling up in the evenings at dinner, I mean full parking lot on Friday night. Anytime you see a full lot, something is right. I ordered to Seafood Fajitas and my wife ordered a single item combo. She like ground beef and not shredded. They cooked everything to perfection and the seafood fajitas were amazing. The were sizzling so hot that the skillet was splattering on my arm. I really did not mind. This one had scallops, fish, shrimp on a bed of rice in the skillet. The lunch was only $45 with tip. Haven't been back since the old ownership which was yikes. But everytime I pass by the parking lot is always full & I've heard nothing but great things so finally tried it! Immediately got greeted and sat. Our server was quick & friendly. We got the sampler and a two item combo, cheese enchilada & and shredded beef taco. I'm so basic but I love a good shredded beef taco & theirs is perfectly crunchy. They give you chips and salsa and bean dip. The bean dip is sooooo good! Ever since I heard this place got new owners I've been wanting to try. Met here for lunch today. I just have to say not only has the food improved but so has the service. My husband had the Royal Chimichanga. Stuffed with shredded chicken and beef. My daughter had the La Tampiquenia, Grilled New York steak perfectly sliced topped with bell pepper, onions, tomatoes served with rice and beans. I was going to have the same but went with the Chicken a la Diabla, Grilled chicken breast sauteed with diablo sauce and onions. Served with rice and beans. (So we could share). My SIL asked for their best enchiladas, and the waiter went with Senoras Enchiladas Chile verde enchiladas topped with a fried over easy egg. Plus they charge $3 for chips and salsa due to "rising costs" but still charge minimum $15 for a small plate. Si Señor used to be a go-to spot for my family pre-pandemic. We loved the lunch buffet, and we had plenty of dinners there from 2010-2021/2022. I'm not sure when the quality declined and the prices skyrocketed, but we stopped going a couple years ago. I had been meaning to check it out since it changed ownership, but we have a few favorite spots we love and kept forgetting to give it another shot, until last night. My husband and I showed up for dinner at 7:45, and were greeted pretty readily (something that hadn't happened in a while back before we stopped coming), seated, and told we were the last table of the night. There were a handful of people at the bar when we arrived, but we were the only restaurant customers. I will say straight off that the service was absolutely superb. The last few times we'd been, we felt forgotten (even when we were the only table in the restaurant). I did feel slightly rushed (which absolutely could have just been me), and we were in and out in about 30 minutes. The reason I'm only giving 3 stars is because I wasn't impressed by the food. The salsa wasn't spicy at all, the chips were in desperate need of salt, and my food was just mediocre. The cheese in my cheese enchilada was not melted, and the cheese in my chile relleno was difficult to find. I ordered a house margarita, and it tasted watered down from my first sip. I felt like the whole meal was lacking flavor, but it wasn't terrible, and the prices were much more reasonable than the last time we visited. Overall, we agreed that we weren't impressed, but we weren't too disappointed to prevent us from trying again in the future (maybe on a day when they're not closing early), but I definitely won't be ordering a margarita. read more

Seriously and they were out of deserts, you know this never happened when Sam was there. Also we waited 20 mins before the girl Realized we where standing at the front . Was it busy yeah right. 2 customers, also ordered large drinks and she gave us little cups. She couldn't ring us up right had to do it 3 times. It's sad that a favorite place is a no longer favorite. I have always enjoyed Si Senor it was my go too Mexican restaurant, we even had a family function in the back room, food always on point, we went last Thursday night for dinner and to say it was a disappointment would be an understatement, the staff was so unfriendly, we stood at the counter for 5 minutes without even being acknowledged and the manager was standing right there, once seated the server brought out a tiny little bowl of bean dip and salsa for the stale chips, I ordered the Assad burrito with green sauce instead of red, they put green on the outside and red inside, it was disgusting, I literally ate one bite, decor seemed the same as before so that was fine, hopefully they improve their flavors and hire friendly staff read more

I don't like that the new owners now charge for chips and salsa, with prices higher on the menu it seems like a bit much to charge for chips and salsa. That's my only negative. I had the Seafood Fajitas, my wife had the Chicken and Steak Fajitas, both were absolutely delicious. We had a party of 10, they sat us right away with just a call ahead seating. Well, this place used to be a five star looks like they change the whole management team. It went down so bad I won't come back. Taco Bell has a better flavor. Del taco is better than Taco Bell. So, what happened? Was great at first during new takeover but now different. I ordered food to go and was told if I ordered from outside menu the portions would be smaller. I opted for the inside menu. Same portions but upon arriving home everything was a mess inside the container. Please find better containers. At my restaurant we have aluminum containers with lids. I'm visiting from Florida and drove by Si Senor coming back from the airport and saw lots of cars (at 5 pm), and decided to stop. Best Carnitas I have ever had!!! The meat was tender with a good crisp on the outside. The refried beans are real and not from a can. The salsa has cilantro a little smokey spice to it. The service was friendly and excellent, I had 2 servers stop by and ask how everthing was. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Great music. Plenty of seating with booths and tables that can accommodate 6-8 easily. The stained glass with cactuses is very nice. I will be stopping in every time we come to visit! Video included. read more
