He did a great job of explaining our options. He also had different samples for us to look at which helped in the decision making process. Once we made our decision, I felt that his price was fair for the quality we were receiving. It took about four weeks for our ten shutters to arrive. We scheduled an installation date and time. Again, Bob arrived on time for our install date. After a few hours, our shutters were installed and they turned out wonderful. After installing the shutters, Bob explained how they operate. Within 24 hours, Ruby phoned. I explained our needs and we scheduled a home visit. She showed up on time and listened to our thoughts regarding the window coverings we were interested in. She measured the two windows and showed us some samples. We made our choices and placed our order with a down payment. Ruby shared that it would take approximately four weeks to receive our order. A few days later I emailed Ruby asking if they offer any discounts. She said they offer 10% off for Veterans. In less than three weeks, we received a call from Phil, the owner, who said they had received a Sunday shipment and he could install them the following Wednesday. He arrived at the scheduled time and within thirty minutes, our lovely blinds were installed. He did honor the 10% discount and deducted that amount from our balance. Based on customer service, product and price, we would definitely use them again and highly recommend them, too.

Ultimately, I scheduled an appointment for an in-home consultation, basic measurements and quote. Marla sent Nancy for my visit and she was just a breath of fresh air to work with! From one knowledgeable person to another. Although they were in and out in no time, it didn't at all feel rushed. The product installation knowledge was clear in their efficiency and ease of service. They were also very respectful of my home and took necessary measure to ensure not trekking in outside dirt or leaving any trash behind. They also made sure to provide me with all the necessary reminders for new installations and warranty paperwork. Ultimately, I decided on all Hunter Douglas products for the exceptional quality built and materials as well as warranty offered. The products I chose were: -Hunter Douglas Palm Beach Vinyl Shutters (easy to maintain and clean, will not yellow for decades- LIFETIME WARRANTY!) on all front facing windows- for aesthetics and curb appeal. -Hunter Douglas Duette Honeycomb shades for all other windows facing the back and sides of house. Depending on room and accessibility to shade, some have the Literise (mania lift) and some have the Ultraglide (wand with hidden cord). Honeycombs obstruct my view the least and the cord mechanism has a lifetime warranty so I don't have to stress about the 5 year limited warranty on a motorized shade. I have all the extended details if anyone is really interested. But I've already divulged too much here. Cost was another positive thing. I won't share specifics as that will depend on what specific options you choose, but I don't think you can ever go wrong with the quality of Hunter Douglas products and warranty. All I know is, I got a price quote and then after the final measurement, it came back cheaper because Nancy found an active rebate for me! Woohoo! The process from start to finish was a mere 4-5 weeks at the time of my purchases. The final result was custom built window coverings that were made to fit all of my windows precisely. Definitely not something I could ever accomplish on my own. I paid for the experience of working with a completely professional and knowledgeable team as well as top tier quality products.
