Upon entering the store, there was a sign greeting us that said "No Christmas decor can be purchased until their Open House Oct 31- Nov 2." What???? What retail establishment won't sell to interested customers?? And to top it all off, I let the employees at the register know that this practice was "weird." A snotty woman came back with this, "it's either this inability to buy, or they would have to shut down for two weeks." What retail establishment in this day and age turns away possible customers??? We left this store with ZERO plans to return. Bottom line: there are many stores to stock up on Christmas decor, don't bother with Suite 52, unless you want to shop in the fray of an Open House!

She took detailed measurements of our semi walk-in closet, walked us through options, showed samples, and gave us a price on the spot, no pressure at all. The next day, Julie emailed a detailed virtual rendering of our closet, which really helped confirm our vision. After we decided to move forward, the contract was thorough, so be sure to read everything carefully before signing. We submitted our deposit on October 15th and received a December 1st installation date. A week before, we got a confirmation call with our arrival window. On install day, Aaron arrived right on time, friendly and professional, with another installer joining him. They completed the entire install and cleanup in about 2.5 hours. Overall, the process from design to installation was smooth and professional. My only drawback is the price, which is on the higher end compared to competitors. Even without premium finishes, it felt a bit steep for the quality of shelving. Overall, it was a great experience. If money is no object or you have a high price point, California Closets can design and build you a pretty extravagant storage system.
