I've been coming to Shuang Xi for years for dine in during lunch time. Their lunch price has increased now to $8.95 and now only comes with pork fried rice, but no soft drink like it used to. Their lunch menu has 25 different options to choose from, but my favorites are the Beef with Garlic Sauce, the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, and the General Tso's Chicken. You order at the front where there is a large glass barrier with a microphone. Next to it is a self serve sauce and utensil station with hot mustard, soy sauce, hot sauce, ketchup, and duck sauce. The service is quick and I found the lady at the front to be very friendly and approachable.

Amazing service. And they have the Best crispy honey chicken in the lowcountry. Every other restaurant the chicken is too big for little mouths. Here it is just right. And the Staff are friendly. Thumbs up.

General Tso, chicken lo mein, and egg rolls

Ordered take out through their website which was quick and easy. Food was available very quickly. I ordered general tso and chicken lo mein, with egg rolls. General Tso was bland, dry, and overall under whelming. The lo mein was smoky tasting which took away any flavor profile. The egg rolls were good. If looking for quick and easy Chinese, this place will do

Found a roach in our food and they refused to do a refund. They started cursing me out after they admitted they had roach problems

Sesame Chicken w/ Pork Fried Rice

Typical quick Chinese take-out place with a few tables if you wanna eat there. Same menu you see pretty much everywhere. Is there a one-size-fits-all menu printer in China selling these so cheap that every restaurant caters their food to the cheap menu? Or does one Chinese family dynasty own every one of these restaurants across the U.S.? Anyway, the sesame chicken and pork fried rice from the lunch options were good. I'm sure not remotely healthy, but tasty. Service was quick and restaurant fairly clean. They did have A/C which was nice; been to some that didn't (I figure to convince the customers to get their food and leave). Overall a good lunch with a drink for $7.50. Plenty of food to fill you up.

No good. Slow, dirty and bad service. I ordered just fried rice with vegetables and shrimps... I was given just rice, 3 shrimps and peas.

Old Li's is an outstanding authentic Asian restaurant. I loved it. No reservations required and plenty of tables. It's a very clean well ordered establishment. Also plenty of free parking right outside. The staff could not have been any better, prompt, attentive & very knowledgeable about the menu. The round table we sat had had a "lazy Susan" to facilitate the sharing of dishes. We ordered based on recommendations, personal taste & heat levels. The dishes were absolutely delicious. So good. I think the Peking Duck was the star of the show. If you are seeking Asian authenticity & phenomenal family service.. Old Li's in N. Charleston near Tanger outlet is your place to go. Of note the prices cannot be beat. A really nice change!!

Overall a good visit, I'll return to check out something else on the menu.

First off I love that it's a full service bar and eating at the bar is no problem. Second I absolutely love they sell pitchers of beer. Not many taps, but still pitchers. And it's mostly local beer. I was with my husband and we wanted to try several things and took recs from the bartender who was awesome. We ordered the pork dumplings, the scallion pancake and the spicy sichuan hot karaage rice bowl. And we made it a combo with miso soup and an egg roll for $4. The pork dumplings were SO good. I could eat a meal of those alone. They were dense and flavorful and the dipping sauce was slightly spicy. The scallion pancake was a surprise delight. It was crispy and not too greasy again with a delicious dipping sauce. The miso soup...chefs kiss. It looked like ordinary miso soup but there was something extra that we really loved!! And the egg roll was big and juicy and fried and wonderful. It's a veggie egg roll but don't let that fool you. So much flavor and again the sweet chili dipping sauce left us drooling. Most of those sauces are too sweet but this was the perfect blend and the perfect spice level. The rice bowl was full of flavor!! The spice on this is quite a lot so make sure you can handle heat if you order the "hot" version. But again lots of flavor not just hot. Thank god we didn't order anymore food because this was plenty for the two of us to leave full and honestly we could've had leftovers. We will 1000% be visiting again and fully understand the hype around this phenomenal restaurant!!

All the dishes we ordered, from the miso soup and pierogis with salsa macha, to the karaage-don and peanut noodles, were savory and satisfying to eat. The texture and appearance of the chicken for the karaage-don bore more of a resemblance to General Tso's chicken with its battered and crunchy exterior, and it didn't quite have the tender and juicy interior I was hoping for, but I enjoyed the lemon mayo pairing which resulted in a flavorful finish. The Peanut Noodles reminded me of certain iterations of Dan Dan Noodles and certainly tasted fine on its own, but adding the thick chunks of bacon/pork belly was essential in elevating this dish to the next level. The restaurant was very lively on a Thursday afternoon, and the staff very warm and inviting throughout our meal. My drink hit the mark for me, and I found the cocktail menu fun and creative. In fact, I would say "fun and creative" summed up our overall experience at Jackrabbit Filly. Just ask my daughter, who started dancing the entire lunch the moment she saw the disco lights in the bathrooms.

We initially went there for the hibachi and enjoyed the food so much that we had to go back to try other things on the menu. Between my wife and I, we have tried the steak and shrimp, and just steak hibachi with fried rice and have been impressed with both. From there we expanded and tried their wontons, and their onion soup, both of which have been delicious! The soup can be a little spicy or over seasoned at times but it's a great appetizer to share while you wait for the main course. My sister has tried some of their sushi and said it was really good as well. My favorite has become the chicken teriyaki dish with fried rice. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is a bit small so we tend to order pick up most of the time but we have eaten there a couple of times and have always been very pleased with the cleanliness and service.

I would estimate maybe two medium shrimp per each roll. The remainder of the roll contained lettuce, fresh herbs, rice noodles and shredded carrots. I think they are not worth the price due to the lack of protein. My sister walked past me eating it and asks "when did you go get a salad?" That goes to show you how much lettuce was within the roll. Lol Customer service seemed attentive, the interior appeared clean. If I return I won't order this again.
