I called and talked with Ed and he gave me a quote over the phone which was very reasonable so I booked the delivery. The day of the delivery he was on time and very help full, we were towards the end of the pour and showing signs of our old age :) but Ed jumped in and helped grabbing the wheelbarrow and dumping concrete for us while we screed the concrete level. I have used this concrete business many times in the past and always had a positive experience with the previous owner, Ed. He was polite, professional, and very honest in how he ran the business. That is the main reason I continued to use them whenever I needed short-load concrete. Pricing was always clear upfront, and if the quantity changed, it was communicated before the pour. Recently, I learned the business had been sold. When I placed an order for 1.7 yards at 4" thickness, Ed contacted me and introduced me to the new owner, Jessie. Although I initially felt unsure about the change in ownership, I decided to move forward based on Ed's recommendation. However, on the scheduled pour day, there were several issues. I was not provided a clear price upfront for the 1.7 yards. Jessie arrived almost four hours late, and communication throughout the day was difficult. When I called for updates, the responses were often unprofessional and rude he yelled at me and tells me don't try to tell him how to run his business, all because he doesn't like I kept bugging him how much longer for him to get to my job site and I was given multiple ETAs that were not accurate. I pay my guys hourly it supposed to be an easy 4-5 hours pouring day but we end up at the site for 10hrs. Because my client had already scheduled the pour for that day, I continued with the job to avoid further delays. When the concrete was finally delivered around 3:45 PM, since I'm already late we went ahead and poured I forgot to take the before and after of the yard meter he hired a driver to drive and operate the truck Jessie even Yelled at him on the spot poor guy poor guy have to trained this way anyhow after we pour I was later told that 2.6yards had been poured, for a walk way size at 26'X5' 4" thickness. This resulted in a total charge of $983.72 I was also told I was not charged weekend fees, which I is a lied not only he added one yard extra charge he over charged me. With the previous owner, pricing and yardage were always clearly communicated before the pour. In this case, that clarity was not provided. I would strongly recommend that anyone working with the new ownership confirms pricing, yardage, and total through via text before scheduling a pour to avoid this crook new ownership. read more

We called Ed for a backyard project and he was able to come and help us out. He was on time and really gave us some tips and tricks to smoothing out the concrete. We measured wrong so we were going to be short but Ed came with extra so we were able to use all the concrete! That extra bit really saved us and it was just him knowing to bring more than just enough. Everything turned out great and our project looks good! read more

I called the company on Wednesday and scheduled 3 yards for Saturday, they had the best price from the other 3 companies I called in the area. On Saturday they got to the job on time and did an excellent job. Easy company to deal with and great communication. I would recommend giving them a call for any short load work. read more

I dealt with Ed for our home project. He was very informative as he described how this process works and I followed each of his recommendations. He was on-time per our appointment and very efficient. We had 2.5 cu/yds. delivered and he even helped us work the mix into our form. He cleaned up afterwards and he takes credit cards on the spot for payment. I would definitely recommend him and will be using him on future projects. My project would have been over (100) 60-lb. bags of dry concrete that I'd have to mix and pour. I received great service. They were prompt and my cement finisher liked the "quality" of the cement. Very easy to use and gave me a great price. What cost me $400 cost my auntie $1100 when she ordered her cement for a similar size pad from a different company in Whittier, Ca. The only reason I did not put 5 stars is the hose. The hose is an extra $200. I was able to do my project without it. Just wish it had been mentioned beforehand. read more

We needed concrete for our new driveway sidewalk on a Saturday, called on a Friday around 330PM Spoke to Ed (very friendly and helpful) he advised he would only charge for the amount used and gave me a quote. Ed said to call him 2 hours prior to needing the cement, called him Saturday morning around 8 AM needing his service around 1030AM, he was able to accommodate. Ed arrived on time, he poured the cement and helped to spread it (very helpful) we ended up needing more than requested but that was not an issue. On their website I couldn't find the payment methods, however, they take cash or checks. Very good high quality cement and very clean work. When the driver Ed arrived, I was shamefully not ready. I asked him to please wait for me and he did. As I pulled my wheelbarrow out, it had a flat and Ed tried to fill it with air since he was prepared(unlike myself) but couldn't. He then pulls out his wheelbarrow and lends it to me. When he saw I was alone he astonished me more than ever because he then helped me pour. Never seen this in my life, he and I both know it wasn't his job. Now the greatest thing besides his nobility and professionalism, he saved my hundreds of dollars actually because I shopped around. Im still in shock how this man helped me and he's the perfect example of a hard dedicated man running a business with integrity and at the same time helping others. Your making a serious mistake if your considering other cement companies for your project because you will pay more guaranteed.
