Great service!! I had to get my laptop fixed after the screen got banged up last year by the port authority police department. I wasn't able to look for a place. A good friend of mine looked up computer repair spots in Brooklyn and that's when we stumbled on Rauls computer repair services. He was very professional and courteous. I was able to swing by @ around midnight to drop it off. The guy informed me every step of the way on the progress of the repairs. It took an extra week or so because there was more stuff that needed to be replaced, which thankfully I didn't have to pay extra for. It turned out that it was in such bad shape that he ordered a new one and placed all the memory from the old one on it with no extra charge (which is great considering my housing situation). The new laptop works well. One minor thing is just the camera being a little blurry. All the files that were transferred still operates well. Now I can go full steam ahead in my apartment search. Raul is one of the most dedicated technicians I've ever met and I definitely recommend his service to everyone. My iPhone screen broke due to water damage and I called his service at 1am in the morning asking for repair. He promised to find me a screen by the next day. In the process of fixing the iPhone, he not only explained each step to me clearly, but also let me ask any questions I had. The fix was great and I'm happy to say that my phone is working perfectly now. After the fix, I thought the screen had a defect, and he even bought a new one on his own money to see if it would work better. Raul sees things in the customer's perspective and is honestly a lifesaver. Bonus: I accidentally took his car charger when pulling out my iPhone, and I was well on my way back home before I realized. When I texted him, Raul didn't ask for anything back and was just amazing. When I spilled some rubbing alcohol and salt all over my Dell laptop keyboard I thought that I was in for an expensive repair job. Luckily, I gave Raul a call before going to anyone else. Over the phone he walked me through how to try and clean some of the keys. When that didn't work I went over to his place. He took a look at the laptop and then taught me how to remove the keyboard before telling me that the best thing I could do was buy a replacement part. He showed me how to do the replacement and told me that it would be easier to do on my own instead of getting charged $100 for a repair person to do the work. So, the guy basically walked me through how to fix the problem FOR FREE when he could easily have charged me a bunch of money instead. Not all of these computer repair folks are such upstanding gentleman. I highly recommend Raul, I will definitely be giving him another call when my computer breaks. read more

Simply amazing . I called due to our systems being down in our office and was able to get in touch of an actual human right away . I called so many places before Raul and they all told me it would take about two hours in total to send someone out . Raul was able to understand what was the issue in our office and come immediately . In our case he did not end up coming but even though he did not come he walked us step by step on how to fix the issue without asking for any payment . Really Raul went above and beyond talking himself out of a job . If you have IT issues this is your guy . He is not money hungry like all the other numerous places listed on yelp . I had my laptop for a few years now and one day it started to slow down and i realized i had a bunch of programs i never downloaded on to my laptop, lol long story short i went to bestbuy where i originally purchased my laptop and found out i had a ton of viruses on it and it needed to get wiped completely and that it could take a few days and bestbuy charged me $200 but as a college student i couldnt afford that so i decided to visit a local computer service which was Short Circuited and Raul was able to fix my laptop in a day ! with a lower price too so i highly recommened Raul if your ever having any type of problems with your pc. read more

Raul is a great go-to repair guy. He keeps costs down, and is communicative throughout the whole process, sending updates as he fixes your machine, complete with photos and video. It's great having a reliable repair guy in Bushwick. Apple and Apple-approved repair shops would have charged me well over $1000 dollars to fix my old laptop, but Raul has given my MBP new life for a fraction of that cost, and without having to keep my laptop for over a week like Apple would have done. I have been with these guys for a few years. The tech is very knowledgeable and even if he doesnt know how to do something he will do his best to find out and get the job done. I recently gave him two computers (a mac and a pc) He fixed BOTH of the computers at a fraction of the cost it would have had if I had taken it to one of the big chain brands.
