I thought I knew what I wanted but he really helped me figure out what I needed. He was super knowledgeable about each model and what the features were that would serve me best. He wasn't pushy at all and I know I tried on at least 7-8 different pairs and sizes. I have run and hiked for 30 years; but I still learned something today. I highly recommend the foot scan they use. I knew my right foot was a little longer than my left but the scan affirmed that and that my left foot was a little wider. I love starting at the right to adore all the home goods and then making my way through the 50% off sale items, shoes, accessories, and clothes. They have plenty of spacious fitting rooms to try things on. In Richmond you're able to visit this one in Short Pump or the one in Stony Point. Both are fabulous. I rarely need help, but the people who work here that I've interacted with at the fitting rooms or cash registers have always been sweet. There are so many gorgeous things here.

So many greeters, cashiers, floor staff helping the excited customers. My daughter and I were the first customers and we were so geeking out about it! The food was Ah-mazing!! Skewers of grilled chicken with cilantro lime sauce, Caesar salad cups, lobster phyllo tarts, black bean sliders with mango chutney, sweet potato ham biscuits, lavender and lemon cupcakes, macarons, and a beverage bar! I might have missed something, but let's just say that I went home with a happy tummy! I purchased some adorbs black pants and a pair of tortoise shell hoops, along with some cute office folders! Our hubbies came along, had a beer, held our purchases and enjoyed watching us shop! It was a great crowd but not at all chaotic, everything was fun, smooth sailing and an absolute blast! I guess it's time to be a grown up! Jeans are really funny and you can be completely different sizes depending on brand and cut. So, as much as I hate trying things on, I decided to pop in and give them a test drive. Well, people definitely aren't lying! The jeans are soft, supportive, and definitely high quality. They're thicker than some others that I have from a different brand and I really enjoyed everything about them. I was surprised to find that my normal size fit me very well. The young lady who was working today was very nice and helpful, without being overbearing. My favorite kind of employee interaction! Definitely glad I came in today and looking forward to owning my very own pair of Madewell denim in the new year!

My husband and I made an appointment at the short pump Good Feet store with Tamara. From the first moment we walked in Tamara was incredibly helpful. She is very knowledgeable and walked us through the product, taking imprint of our feet and also showing us the inserts. We both ended up walking out with the system they offer. My husband instantly felt relief from his heel pain and after about 1.5 months of using the inserts, my Tendinitis/nerve pain has 100% gone away. I also do not have lower back issues like i used to! I had been visiting a chiropractor at at least twice a month! I never understood how our feet and the way we walk affects so much of our body and can cause back and knee issues!. You can buy "Good shoes, "but they are only a Band-Aid and don't fix the actual issue! We cannot recommend the Good Feet store enough and how it has changed our lives! Take the time to make an appointment at the short pump location with Tamara! You won't regret it! Yes, a system is $1500, which felt huge in the moment, but it is an investment in your future. There were two women in front of us that were White and dressed alright -- maybe more of the we're out shopping and having lunch wear compared to us, but mind you, no one was disheveled or anything. The ladies were attended to nicely from staff and given adequate help, and they left with nothing. No big deal, except that my sister and I browsed some jewelry and then went to purchase a gift card only to be treated rudely by the staff there. A staff sneered at us for our outfits and gave us a ripped bag, no box, no wrapping or anything and tried to rush us as we were purchasing. I don't know if it was racism or classism or what, but I was pretty offended and if I'm spending $200 at your store, the least you can do is be nice.
