We wanted to just buy a simple pair of men's shoes. Someone came right over to help. Immediately started with placing my husband's feet on a massage foot pad. Then after a minute started measuring his feet. Found a pair of shores that may fit. But before having him try them on showed several shoe inserts. Paid over $1000 dollars for a 3-piece set of supports/inserts. You alternate the different size supports to maintain foot for relief. They help, but are nothing extraordinary like they advertised. In the plan I paid for, you can get replacement inserts for around $7.50/pair. Recently my dog got ahold of my shoes and destroyed one pair of the set. I went there to buy a set of replacements and was charged another $500 for just 1 set of inserts. They wouldn't honor the replacement cost of $7.50 like I was initially told, because it was not cracking/tearing/breaking from wear/workmanship. These MF'ers done lost their mind if they think these flimsy inserts are worth $500!! They sure weren't worth over $1000 I paid to begin with. Stopped in the store to seek an appropriate insert for my running shoes. The young, disinterested representative launched into a poorly-rehearsed spiel about their "three-section" approach, yada... yada. She paid little or no attention to my comments and rushed to emphasize that I could walk out in a few minutes with my new, custom-made inserts... for just $400! (Based on other commenters, that may have been just the beginning of the expenses.) If she were a medical professional I have may reacted differently. But that was clearly not the case. She was simply trained to given a convincing sales pitch. Reminded me of a door-to-door Kirby vacuum cleaner salesperson. Thanks, but no thanks. read more

I went here a few years ago to get help finding shoes that wouldn't make my feet hurt within a week. I was convinced by my saleswoman on a pair of shoes with a "rocker" bottom. I don't even remember the brand but they were EXPENSIVE! I knew how a walked and where my shoes wear at. I have supination. She said it wasn't as bad as my pronation and these shoes would "fix" both. All they did was cause me to be VERY unstable on any surface that wasn't very hard and like all the other shoes I had tried then my feet were hurting within a week. I have since found shoes and inserts that help me to wear my shoes until they look like they've been worn. Never, NEVER trust the people that tell you something when they're trying to sell you something. Do your own research and then go shopping. read more

I bought the entire system and realized that I would like a second pair of the maintainers (middle level) and would like to return the relaxers (low level) I do not use and they would not allow this, even if I paid the exchange charge. Faith V. I just had my first child and after 4 months as a new mother I was set up with an arch support system. I cannot believe how good the Good Feet arch supports are. I walked into the store for the first time four days ago. I had to talk myelf into my first trip to the store, as I really did not believe my visit would help me in any way. WOW was I wrong. I was limping from awful hip and leg pain as I entered the store. I have been a customer of this store for several years and I can say with certainty that their products and service are the reason I am still able to keep my active lifestyle. I visited good weeks a little over a week ago because I was having pain in my legs and backaches. I stand at work all day and it was really getting to me. I decided to give good feet a try because I did not know if I could keep working at my current job because of the pain. Buyer beware. Went to buy walking shoes. Was sold $800 For three pairs of orthotic inserts plus two pr of foam cushions to cover the inserts by the franchise owner. Upon arrival home, every single item in my bag was a used, dirty, scuffed insert or foam cover. There was residue from a velcro sticker visible on the orthotics, clearly returned, used items. The owner sent a letter saying this would not happen again, tried to state these were samples that got mixed up somehow. A google search indicates that this is not an isolated issue with this multi state business. read more
