The absolute worst, rudest people in town. Called and was told to arrive before 2 because of their lunch break at 2. Showed up at 145. Was belittled for arriving so close to their lunch break. Told I wouldnt be seen, despite driving 30 minutes on MY lunchbreak to arrive 15 minutes BEFORE theres. And no..this wasnt just the rude receptionist...even the doctor came out with the same attitude and refused to see me. Wasted an entire lunch hour and Im still hurting. Literally could have adjusted me and sent me back to work feeling healed in the time both nasty women stood and argued with a patient BEGGING for help. read more

Really freaked out. I went for an adjustment as part of their one time promotion and it was about 20 minutes of waiting then 30 minutes of the chiropractor trying to sell me an $80 per month membership to the practice. I would not go in here unless you are 100% ready to drop the money on a membership. We didn't even get to the adjustment, she started doing someone else's adjustment to show me how it goes. I just ran away and will not be back!! (Since I didn't spend any money, only an hour of my time, I'm just giving it an average rating. But heed my warning!) read more

Do yourself a favor and don't sign anything!!! They will distract you and before you realize it they're taking money out of your account a month later and longer if you don't go sign some form telling them to stop withdrawing money. It's theft by deception. They do a thorough job on the first visit but what you don't realize is that you just paid for 3 extra visits and have unknowingly given them permission to take $79 out of your account monthly. It's been 8 days since a manager said they would contact me after my first review about the sciatic I have had since my chiropractic adjustment on 9/5. No one has contacted me, but I doubt that it would have made any difference. The day after my adjustment I called and they said to come back in and they would do have another doctor do an adjustment and comp it. When I arrived the other doctor came out and told me all about her back experience and then told me there was no problem with my adjustment, it was how my body was reacting to it. I even asked her "so your saying it's my body's fault and she said "yes" but she would be glad to do an adjustment and recommended I pay for at least 6 additional sessions, but it may take 10. The manager told me she couldn't comp one session in trade for the one that I'd already had, because it was my fault not theirs. Had I known they were going to do that I would not have come back at all- I drove 20 mins each way and sat there 20 mins in pain and feeling like I was being gaslighted. So, I went to the urgent care and had x-rays, my disc between L5 and S1 is compressed and the doctor thinks it's pinching my sciatic nerve. I have NEVER had sciatica before in my life until about an hour after Dr John adjusted me. I was given steroids, muscle relaxers and pain meds to hold me for three weeks until I can get PT and told never to go back to The Joint. The pain is slightly better as long as I am very careful how I move and spend most of my time icing my back and hip, but sleeping is very painful regardless of what I do. I wish I had never gone to The Joint to begin with, but my regular doctor couldn't get me in for a week and I didn't think of urgent care. So I paid $45 to be in pain for 11 days now. Wow...so where do I begin. I've been coming to the joint for three years and have never had a bad thing to say. Lines can get a little long but I get routine adjustments from all the doctors and everyone is good. Dr Taylor is like my aunt and given my wife and I advice in all areas of life haha. However...I have had a pain in my mid back since as long as I can remember. Since I was at least 20 or 21 years old (I'm 33) I can remember having pain in my mid-back. I had an MRI done seven years ago and it showed that three of my vertebrae were compressed. They thought I might've had Sherman's disease but no one's really sure what caused it. In addition to the pain, my mid back has NEVER adjusted. Some chiropractors have said my spine could be even fused together. Well, yesterday I came in for a routine adjustment and was seen by Dr. John. I've seen him several times. He's always very nice and friendly. However, he's very intentional with his adjustments. Trying different things and teaching me stretching techniques. I when I came in yesterday, he tried a different adjustment with a device that he said the previous visit he thought might work better for my mid back. When he did I heard my bed back crack for the first time... Immediately the pain was relieved. I didn't know what to say at the time, so I just left and thought perhaps it was just a fluke. It's now been over 24 hours and for the first time I don't have pain in my back . My back is visibly straighter and I don't know what to say after 12 to 13 years of pain 24 hours a day. It's quite likely attributed to all the adjustments I've had from all the doctors at The Joint Willow Lawn over the past three years, but I can't say thanks enough. Thanks Dr. John Robinson. Came in on a Sunday and it was busy with new clients. But being a regular monthly customer it only took like 25 min to be seen. Awesome! It was a nice black gal. She listened to my concerns and looked at my chart then proceeded. She got my low back really good. And my neck wow it was way off. The receptionist could have better customer service. It was almost like she was talking to customers as she was reading a scripted monologue from her brain in a non Chanlant way. No smiling at all. The prices are higher when you are a recurring patient. I felt immediate relief after my first treatment. First time customers must fill out lengthy forms. So they had an online advertisement to do a walk in for service. When I arrived the lady says an appointment is required. The online advertisement welcomed walk ins. So we ended up leaving. I have no desire to return or try this chain. The lady wasn't even apologetic nor did she offer an alternative. I would not encourage anyone to go here. She did say that this isn't a real chiropractor so they wouldn't be able to assist anyone who was in an accident or anything like that. After a couple of years of suffering hip pain, and finally coming to the conclusion that I needed professional help I came across this place. Sure I was skeptical because I knew it would be one of those membership places that only want to sell, sell, sell but I thought what the heck, I'll give it a try. I spend $29 on BS anyway ($29 for the consultation and 1st session) So here I am to say that it was the best $ ever spent! JOHN, the man I let break me like a glow stick was a GODSEND!! I immediately signed up for more sessions and went back the very next day. While my hip pain obviously didn't go away completely, I was able to have enough comfort to where I'm not limping after sitting for a couple of minutes. I'm sure my doctor would love me to lose 15lbs, and I don't work out as regularly as I should...I say that to say that I think all the sitting is really what's damaged my hips and John definitely helped put things back together and while he said "what I do isn't so special" I disagree! I came to the joint for back pain I started having all of a sudden. I can truly tell you that after a few visits my back started to feel better. I was doing the recommended exercises and still am to this day. My body and back have never felt better. I went in to have a new patient trial and had a great time! While I was told on the phone it would take about 30 minutes total, it did end up taking about an hour. I got there around 10:30 AM and waited for the doctor while they were back there with someone. The receptionist gave me some forms to fill out that were fairly painless and easy to comprehend, and was taken back shortly after that. The doctor, whose name I am ashamed to say I can't remember, was super nice and explained everything he was doing while he did it. He was very thorough with my medical history and gave me a quick check to see where I was holding pressure. Then, he came up with a treatment plan for me and gave me the best adjustment of my life. My back has never felt so tension free, and this is after years of intense sports playing, as well as some chronic pain. Overall, the adjustment was very quick and I felt immediate relief. He explained where he saw some problem areas, especially considering that I'm very young, and noted what would be done in the future to help correct it. Afterwards, he set me up with a very quick and easy plan to come in and gave me a student discount. Since his treatment plan included 3 more visits than the wellness plan allows, he gave me the 3 visits for free. Because I'm a student, I had a super cheap plan and they waived my initial visit fee. Overall, I'd highly recommend. Even if I had to pay full adult pricing, it would most definitely be worth it. The doctor is incredibly knowledgeable, the staff is helpful, and my back feels AMAZING! I did not even get through the appointment process. The person that answered the phone so rude and so pushy but it was impossible to talk to her about what was going on with me. She was extremely aggressive and didn't really care about anything that I had to say. This seems like it's more about what they want then what I need. In 2018, after falling during a headstand, I sought the help of a chiropractor. (It is important to note that since the age 12 I have visited chiropractors. My first chiropractor was competent and she educated me on the exact steps to my complete and proper alignment. I can tell when a step is omitted.) So in 2018, I visited Joint Chiropractic. (FYA: My chiropractor was a middle-aged African-originating female.) I visited her three times. The first time, she adjusted my neck but she did not adjust all the way down to the SI joint, so 24 hours later I had new pain just sitting in my seat. The second time, she adjusted my hips only, so 24 hours later I had pain in my back. The third time, I went back to ask for correction, and she adjusted my middle back. The third and last time I told her I was not paying because she was not giving me a full head-to-tail alignment which was causing additional and new pains. A few weeks later I visited the MD. I asked the MD for an x-ray, because every time I inhaled my vertebrae would loudly pop between my right-side shoulder blade. I told the MD that I either had a lung tumor or I had a chiropractic misalignment. The MD confirmed that I did not have a lung tumor but that I did have musculoskeletal misalignment, which confirmed that the chiropractor injured me. So then I was afraid to trust another chiropractor to fix what the Joint Chiropractic chiropractor had broken in me. For 4+ years, I have struggled with just breathing and anytime I try to run I feel like I am suffocating so I can only manage no more than 1.5 miles before the oxygen deficiency is excruciating. October 2022 I sought the help of an acupuncturist who also confirmed that my T-3 vertebrae is misaligned and causing my breathing problems. The acupuncturist was able to palpate the T-3 into alignment, but it didn't hold because I need a head-to-tail alignment. So, I found a naturopathic doctor who is also a chiropractor and he is helping me, but now it will take months for my body to realign, because after years of yoga and weightlifting, my muscles/ligaments/tendons have formed around the misalignment. Additionally, the misalignment has created nerve damage that extends to my fingertips. Last, the Joint Chiropractic chiropractor knew that I was a marathon runner, so it is not coincidental that she injured the part of me that would ruin my ability to breathe. I would sue her and Joint Chiropractic but there is a 2-year statute of limitations on chiropractic injuries. Moral? 1.) Don't trust The Joint Chiropractic with your body and health 2.) If you have new pain after visiting a chiropractor, then get the injury documented by a third party MD 'and' an acupuncturist 3.) Trust South Korean practitioners -- acupuncturists, naturopaths, and chiropractors -- who study Chinese Traditional Medicine and be extremely wary of anyone else. read more

I have to first say Kim is an absolute angel and was wonderful to me and my boyfriend however the doctor that was present on 8/15/2020 at 3pm was nothing short of rude, ill-mannered and discourteous. I told my boyfriend how wonderful my past experience was at the Midlothian location and hoped he could get the same experience with a membership however that was debunked by the unpleasant experience. I'm pretty sure we were not serviced due to his own personal beliefs. Each time we spoke when asked questions by Kim this doctor made an excuse before we could answer about why it wasn't a good idea we did not get an adjustment package. I'm highly upset and I do not believe I'll be back to this establishment at Willow Lawn. I do think Kim was wonderful and so kind however sadly people like that doctor are the reason people do not return. I do highly suggest the Midlothian location! The doctors there are wonderful and my experience is nothing short of wonderful!! read more
