So I made a Sunday appointment and 15 minutes later I received a call back, that the establishment did not have a provider on staff for the day (ie: doctor etc). Ok no Sunday help for me. I was able to reschedule for the morning. The waiting room was virtually empty and I still had to wait 35 minutes from my appt time before I could meet with the nurse. But once you are back there, things roll fast. And they have some of the best Drs. So even though you will wait, even with an appt... it's a great place to go when you are sick

We'll wouldn't you know now I payed for the first and second visit $200 for a dot physical that should have been $100 and done in one day.

We have several members of our family with very specific health needs and Dr. Carl and his staff keep us up to date so we don't have to remember all of the details! They take care of it for you. Making appointments is as easy as can be. Prescription refills are always checked and evaluated and dispensed appropriately. Cathy is the lead nurse and she is always super organized and extremely helpful and communicative! Colleen is such a sweet and welcoming member of WellcomeMD. I always love seeing her face!:) Heidi is fabulous on the phone and great with communications. She gets the job done! But when it comes to your health, your relationship with your doctor, it's an intimate dynamic because it requires clarity and trust on the part of the doctor and patient. Dr. Carl is so relaxed that he puts his patients at ease immediately. He is thorough and goes through all of your blood panels with you one-on-one and makes excellent suggestions and also is complimentary if he feels that you are doing well. He will prescribe supplementation only if it is reflected as needed in your bloodwork. Personally, my blood pressure zooms up every time I go to the doctor. As an anesthesiologist, who is more than familiar with the failed back surgery syndrome, I was interested in alternative therapies. I looked up Dr Groopman, who is boarded in internal medicine, emergency medicine as well as acupuncture. He brings a broad perspective to his practice and he is very thorough in his initial examinations; as a physician, he is able to bring a multimodal approach to pain control, not just using acupuncture, and his treatments of my wife's back pain have proved extremely effective. A more caring empathetic physician would be hard to find and we both feel very grateful that he is taking care of us. We both recommend him very highly. As an addendum, I recently developed trigeminal neuralgia. After seeing a neurologist who prescribed a MRI and medication, I went to Dr Groopman, who had just recently presented a case report on his successful treatment of trigeminal neuralgia using acupuncture. I received a course of treatments and it's been two weeks since my last one. It would seem that the condition is in remission. I am thrilled.
