It was a different experience from other regular massage sessions. I would advise to do research on the effects of a lymphatic massage and what to expect during and after. The customer service at Main Street Spa was great. The therapist and receptionist were very pleasant. Upon arrival, I rang the doorbell to gain entry. I liked that the door was locked from people just coming in. It added to my ability to feel more secure and that this was a scared and safe place to relax. I liked the use of essential oils and soothing tunes to set my mind in the mood of relaxation. The therapist made sure that I was comfortable and also gave me instructions on what to do as far as food and water for the next 24 hours and not to consume alcohol. The therapist also gave me insight of tense areas within my body. The therapist was very thorough and addressed every area that lymph runs through. The cleanliness and atmosphere was very inviting and aesthetically put together I arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment and parked in the parking lot across from West Elm. I had no wait time. The pricing was reasonable. I paid $95 plus a $20 tip. I would recommend Main Street Spa.

The outside of the building didn't look as nice as the Short Pump location, but it was very similar on the inside. I like that I can get my mammogram and have my doctor appointment in the same location. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Naimi. She had a fantastic bedside manner and her exam was very thorough. She also took the time to discuss my family history and made recommendations for additional treatment. First of all when I walked in the owner was Doing something on the phone and barely acknowledged me when she handed me the intake forms. We had a little bit of exchange of information and she took me to the room where the procedure took place. There was very little information shared on how the procedure would go. I did share with her that I had had a bad experience in the past somewhere else. When the procedure started, I asked her if anything was coming out and she told me I needed to be patient. Fair enough. Five minutes into the procedure she receives a phone call that she says she has to take. It turns out to be an appointment for a conference call with people from her child's school and she tells me she needs to take it, but that they can't see me. She was on the call on speaker for about 10 minutes and then continue to work on me. She massaged my stomach with hot stones. She went very hard and very deep to the point that I Now feel bruised internally. Another half an hour and she receives another phone call this time an appointment with her personal doctor and yes, another conference call to discuss her Zepbound dosing. In spite of these two phone calls interrupting our sessions she Was very unapologetic and just said "life happens" both times. I found this to be extremely unprofessional. I had booked Three sessions and asked her for a refund on the other two since I didn't feel this was a good experience especially since I feel my stomach bruised and I had extreme and painful gas after the session. She's been very gracious about the refund. When I went to pick up the money, she told me she didn't realize she had gone so deep. I wanted to tell her that she probably didn't notice cause she was so distracted with her conference calls.
