Unfortunately, our latest provider recently left the practice and we have been told we cannot continue to be seen there as nobody is taking "new" patients. We do not consider ourselves to be new patients since we have been going there for the past decade or more. Now we are trying to find a new practitioner in the Richmond area (with little success) and that leaves us without medicine refills, etc. This is certainly no way to run a practice and it is extremely disappointing, to say the least.

The two other women sitting behind her were making patient calls and had their phones on speaker so everyone in the waiting area heard their entire conversations. So much for patient privacy.

I have been a patient at CPC for about 25-30 years. Most of my experiences have been positive,…read morehowever my recent extended care visit has me a bit concerned on the direction their care is headed. I injured my shoulder/arm and went through the extended care facility. I arrived at 1:37pm (there were four people ahead of me), was taken to the back to a room at 3:00ish pm. Nikta Safavi, PA-C saw me at 3:45pm and ordered x-rays (mind you x-rays closes at 4:00pm). I was taken back for x-rays, back in the room by 4:20 and waited till 4:50pm for the Safavi to come back to the room and tell me no broken bones. Safavi wanted to prescribe me medicine that I explained to her I could not take (she still prescribed it), never submitted the prescription I could take or the referral for an Ortho visit. I had to call multiple times to get the medication and the referral. While Safavi was pleasant she came across unsure and not very confident in what she was doing. I was surprised to learn she has been a PA for a number of years. Perhaps she was just having a bad day? I do know I will not use the Extended Clinic for any future walk-in visit.

Just waiting to pay a balance due raised my blood pressure. I said "Oh good Lord" when the human who eventually answered said I'd need to call a different number for that.
