The office is located in a business center with plenty of parking. Inside, the office was…read morecomfortable and clean. The service, however, left more to be desired, especially from medical professionals. My check-in felt methodical and unfriendly. Then, it was lost in translation between the front desk and the medical staff. No one bothered to apologize for the extra 30 minute wait. While I was waiting, I overheard a patient saying she was there, by phone request, to sign a document. After receiving the same methodical, unfriendly service, she was told they couldn't find the document, but IF they found it, they would call her back. After she left, they made negative remarks about how it had been several days since they called and she was 'just now' coming into the office. Then, I heard the same person who was supposed to call when she found the document say she found it, IF the patient calls back. I wanted to yell "BUT YOU SAID YOU'D CALL HER!!" I also overheard several other phone calls regarding patient's issues. On my first visit, I overheard the medical staff chatting negatively, almost gossiping, about patients, too. Anyone heard of HIPAA? Once I was called back, I felt the friendliness and professionalism continued to be lacking. I feel that Dr. Habib did not do a good job of actually listening to me, but instead seemed to only pick out bits and pieces of what I was saying and proceeded to go off on a tangent, to the point that she offered a prescription for an antidepressant which was completely unrelated to my medical issue. We never even discussed my lab results (of which some tests were left off the lab order) which was WHY I WAS THERE, before she suggested I make an appointment with a specialist. I told her on my first visit, I no longer wanted to see a specialist, because they didn't focus on the whole person, i.e., why I made an appointment with Internal Medicine in the first place. I want to figure out how to get ALL the dominos in order, not just one of them. But, per usual, she didn't listen then either. When I mentioned I'd need a medication refill, she told me I'd be okay if I went a little while without meds until I could see the specialist. I felt the lab work and both appointments with this office were a complete waste of my time. IMHO, steer clear of this medical office. The patient is NOT the priority.

I have been a patient at CPC for about 25-30 years. Most of my experiences have been positive,…read morehowever my recent extended care visit has me a bit concerned on the direction their care is headed. I injured my shoulder/arm and went through the extended care facility. I arrived at 1:37pm (there were four people ahead of me), was taken to the back to a room at 3:00ish pm. Nikta Safavi, PA-C saw me at 3:45pm and ordered x-rays (mind you x-rays closes at 4:00pm). I was taken back for x-rays, back in the room by 4:20 and waited till 4:50pm for the Safavi to come back to the room and tell me no broken bones. Safavi wanted to prescribe me medicine that I explained to her I could not take (she still prescribed it), never submitted the prescription I could take or the referral for an Ortho visit. I had to call multiple times to get the medication and the referral. While Safavi was pleasant she came across unsure and not very confident in what she was doing. I was surprised to learn she has been a PA for a number of years. Perhaps she was just having a bad day? I do know I will not use the Extended Clinic for any future walk-in visit.

Vicky is simply the best! I've been seeing Vicky since 2022, and she is by far the best…read moreacupuncturist I've ever had. Her diagnostic skills are extraordinary -- she is uncanny and precise in troubleshooting my current health condition. She also explains her treatments well, she is open to complementary modes of healing, and she respects her patients views and opinions. And while I've had a lot of experience with acupuncture, Vicky is very patient, gentle, and professional, traits that should reassure anyone interested in acupuncture treatment. But none of this, however, would really matter if the treatments didn't work. But they do work. Vicky is terrific. I've gone to see her with everything from gout flares, to flu-like symptoms, to stress-related conditions. Each time, I've come away feeling much, much better. My pain is gone, I feel more relaxed, and I get fantastic sleep. These days, I see Vicky for what I call my monthly "tune-ups." I feel great knowing that I'm being proactive with my health and well being. Finally, I can't say enjoy about Vicky's staff. Like Vicky, they are personable, professional, and strive to give great customer service. Every office visit is a joy. What else can I say? RVA Acupuncture is a Five-Star operation. Richmond is lucky to have her.

I must say it's an expensive process in my humble opinion. Dr Lee is very attentive to her patients, in addition to having a great bedside manner.
