I always felt that my health was a main priority to him through the process. I also saw Dr. Tidey for one my appointments. He was extremely patient with all of the questions my husband and I had! The appointment didn't feel rushed even though I know there were many others that also needed his time and attention. After one visit, while feeling very overwhelmed and emotional about the process, the nurses and office workers found me in the hall crying after their shift. They were amazing and gave my husband their direct line to call for any questions or concerns we may have, in case the doctors were busy. They were so kind, empathetic, and patient. There are numerous portals and messaging platforms and nothing feels integrated. I had a pretty urgent question pertaining to a scheduled MRI that took almost a week to even get a response despite multiple calls. In order to get in touch with someone you have to speak to a random nurse (not your Drs nurse) who then forwards your message on to someone else. After several days of non-response, you call back and are told "your message is still pending". They need to switch to Mychart so the experience for the patient is all in one place and there are messaging options that let you reach out directly to the provider you need to speak with. My provider was great when I was in the office for my appointment but outside of that, I felt like I was chasing information. Not much peace of mind that I'm in good hands.
