Thrive PT is the most responsive and skilled PT company I have ever used, and, as a runner and tennis player, I have needed my share of physical therapist. I developed a hamstring issue at the National Hard Court Championship in California. Couldn't run and bend for low without extreme pain throughout the week. Could move latterally but opponents quickly figure out what you can't do. Thought I was done. Made appointment with Thrive, and within a few days, after working with Clarke (corrective, hands-on therapy), Libby (massage) and Sophia (pilates), I was pain free! Have not had hamstring issues since. Clarke provided exercises specific to my weaknesses to strengthen injured area, if the problem returned. Very satisfied. Just complete six months of therapy with Jesse Smartt helping me to recover from a serious disabilitating lower back problem. Thought for sure when I started that surgery was going to be my best option. I could not find a neutral position to relief the constant pain in my lower back and right leg. Could only sleep after hours of fatigue from the pain. Jesse was very thorough asking questions and deciphering what was causing the problem. He helped me understand the cause of my pain and did a good job of educating me on ways to alleviate the pain. At the end of my therapy, I know better now on how to sit, walk, carry, lift and other activities to avoid a reoccurrence. Jesse demonstrated and then observed me to ensure I was getting it right. I was a little nervous going to PT the first time, but Clarke immediately put me a ease, diagnosed the problem in minutes and got to work. I've had a lot of problems with both my shoulders and neck. I have gone to many physical therapists for help with my frozen shoulder. Out of all of them, Clarke is the only one who made massive, visible progress with helping my mobility. I was not able to raise my hand above my head and now I can reach my entire arm straight up over my head!
