I first came to Buford Chiropractic after I was rear-ended while pregnant. I was amazed how helpful Dr Eric & his partner were at relieving my pain and getting me comfortable during my pregnancy. I previously had a severe ankle injury that eventually required surgery to remove scar tissue. I had been pain free for 2.5 years when a new area started with pretty significant constant pain. The surgeon was unable to provide me any help and relief. I came back to Dr Eric and after one visit my pain was significantly decreased and I have been able to be more active than I had been in months. I have had lower back issues for almost 20 years, stemming from time in the Army. I have seen countless Doctors (pain meds & muscle relaxers), Physical Therapists (light stretching & elementary exercises), and other Chiropractors (good...but not really fixing). I have been diagnosed with Spondylolisthesis (degeneration) and my L5 has a Anterior Subluxation of 8mm (it's pushed forward 8mm). I made an appointment with Dr. Dennise solely from reviews on the internet. Well, turns out it's true...she is amazing!!! I felt a little better after the first visit, and like a new man after my 3rd visit. I have now seen her 4 times in 2 weeks, and she has improved my mobility, pain level, and overall quality of life in those few visits. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Dennise and the Active Release Technique (A.R.T) method she used on me for the soft tissue. She explains what she's doing and is attentive to my concerns and previous experiences. I would definitely recommend visiting her if you're looking for a Chiropractor. I even brought my teenage son to see her...he was having headaches and neck stiffness. After 1 visit, he said he feels taller and loose overall just feels great. Dr Bilson is amazing! My youngest plays volleyball and has had trouble with her shoulder late season. I called the office on a Wed night because after practice she couldn't lift her arm past her shoulder and she had the regular season final game the next evening. He got her in that morning and the transformation was incredible! She was hitting and serving like a champ! We've been in twice since to keep her shoulder in shape through the tournament this week. Dr. Dennise and Dr. Eric are wonderful! I have been to many chiropractors but haven't had long-term results. I was curious to try out this practice because they use the Active Release Technique. I struggle with neck and shoulder pain from sitting at a desk/using a computer all day and I've been improving and going longer between visits with a lot less discomfort. I especially appreciate how Dr. Dennise takes more time during my appointments to work on certain muscles/joints and try out new stretches to see what keeps me feeling better, longer. On August 20th at 2:02pm, after reviewing many of the local chiropractors and settling on Buford Chiropractic, I made an appointment for September 1st at 5:15pm. As I always do before getting off the phone, I repeated back the day and time. Their receptionist confirmed my appointment and at the correct address. I chose this address because I live 5 minutes away. Upon arriving, the desk person could not find my appointment. She offered for me to be seen in another week. After waiting 2 weeks for this first appointment, I declined to wait another week. Clearly this office has some major operations issues if they can't even get me, a new patient, confirmed for an appointment. Very disappointed. Do not go here!! read more

Dr. Bilson is FANTASTIC and is has been a huge help to me during my pregnancy as well as for my son who suffers from acid reflux. I'd been seen a different chiropractor in town (a well respected one at that) but every time I left that office I still had pain- the adjustment was always just cookie-cutter. Dr. Bilson was so caring and was able to actually relieve my sciatica pain as well as round ligament pain. When I went into his office I could barely walk because the pain was so bad... he immediately relieved it so that when I left I felt like a new person. As for my son, he has been seeing Dr. Bilson since he was about 2 and is currently 4 1/2. He sees him whenever his acid reflux gets bad... He will start to have hiccups and throw up in his mouth. Dr. Bilson adjusts him so gently but so affectively. My son has never ever been scared to go to the chiropractor even though he's terrified of going to the doctors. In fact, he asks to go to Dr. Bilson when his hiccups get really bad! Overall, Dr. Bilson and his staff are extremely warm and accommodating and the energy in their office is relaxing and inviting. They never pressure you to make appointments and work with you to make sure you are getting the BEST price for your insurance. I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

I call and made an appointment with Dr. Dennise Stewart. I was told that my appointment was at 2 pm and to arrive a few minutes early to do the paperwork. I arrived at 1:50 pm and filled out the required paperwork. At 2:20 a family of four came in and Dr. Stewart took them right back (all four) when I ask the receptionist about my 2 pm appointment, I was told my appointment was for 2:30 not 2 pm. Although, I know I was told 2 pm, I decided to wait the extra 10 minutes, however, at 2:40 not only was I still waiting, but she still had 3 of the four family members in the back with her? So, at 40 minutes past the time I was told my appointment was for, Dr. Stewart still had three patients in front of me, so I left. The bottom line is, if you don't mind being lied to and you enjoy hanging out in a waiting room way past your appointment, then this is the place for you. On the other hand, if you have a life and have better things to do, then I would not recommend this place. read more

This place is great! They fit me in last minute, take my insurance, and aren't pushy about a follow up appointment like many chiropractors.

Buford Chiropractic is the best chiropractic office that I have ever used in 30 years. Dr. Bilson is friendly and highly effective in delivering relief of my back pain. His office responds to voicemail and email messages, unlike many other medical offices. I can't imagine going anywhere else. read more
